- Cast in situ piles is a predominantly used deep foundation. Concrete piles are recommended for soil with poor bearing capacity, high water table locations and heavy un-uniform loading structures.
Pile caps facilitate a larger bearing area for load distribution to pile from the building. Concrete Pile and Pile Cap construction sequences with reinforcement detailing are shown in this video.
