- This Nissan Silvia S13 Coupe started life as a regular Silvia from Nissan. In 2016, Spirit Rei transformed this S13 into the coupe it should always have been. Built from the ground up for the Tokyo Auto Salon, the car won over Silvia fans with it's tasteful mods and subtle styling, Not too much and not too little were the key philosophies behind the build. The car arrived in Ireland (via the UK) and Dave couldn't wait to have a look around the car he had bought on the internet!

I just love how tasteful the mods are. The only thing I don’t care for are the red on the seats, and the green in the engine bay. Give me black seats, match the valve color to the teal on the lip, and give me some bronze in the bay to match the lip on the wheels and I call it perfect. That kit molded into the car like that is absolutely bonkers. It looks so good. I hope to visit Ireland someday, once this pandemic rolls over. It would be killer to go to an event at Modello. I’ve been talking to my wife about permanently importing ourselves to Ireland. I think we would genuinely love it there.

I would say, do your own seats, your own steering wheel, maybe shifter/E-break, and there seems like allot you can do under the hood to make it your own.
All in all; very good buy!

Siiiick! I think if the car has its suspension set up right, and if you got some nice sturdy bash bars up front and out back, and took off the bumpers.. she should be just fine to go on track. I still wouldn’t door to door tandem with it.. but maybe following at a safe distance with some trusted drivers ahead.

Great looking car just needs a bit of engine bay mods and tidy up as ya said. I miss my 180SX had it for 21yrs its in the oarents garage as a expat in Asia now. Congrats on the beast and enjoy it.

09:24 the alloy Nissan optional dead-pedal (foot-rest) is rare and the better of the 2 different ones they made.
It's also adjustable in angle easily via the screws that mount it together.
Definitely a rad feature that didn't get mentioned!

This SR sounds bananas! But the SR that powers Deane's FD is another world! That is the best SR in the world for me

Love this car and have done for years! Although the car is cambered for a reason so unless you're going to fit some slightly narrower wheels, don't touch the camber!

If I’m not correct aren’t the s14 a ka engine rather than an sr or is that just certain models which would be why it doesn’t have the same high rpm rasp and sounds very different
