- In the past week, WBAL-TV 11 News has received dozens of complaints from people about FedEx delivery service where some say packages have been listed as delivered, but don't actually arrive until a day or more later.

FedEx is such a joke, still have the delivery date for my package as 2 days ago.

A fedex driver who was supposed to deliver my sister's items didn't even try, he just put a sticker on the door but luckily we caught sprinting back to his truck because we heard someone stepping on leaves by our front door

FedEx just “lost” 1,500 rounds of ammunition I ordered from two different shippers. Didn’t seem to care. Now it’s on me to call the shippers and ask them to file a claim with FedEx. Not concerned about losing ammunition… amazing
FedEx is trash I paid for 2 day shipping and it's well over the arrival time I guess I just have to except that I got ripped off
If you're an Amazon driver and have someone come up to you and tell you how great it is to work for FedEx, don't take the bait. There is a reason why they are so desperate for drivers
I worked for amazon as a driver now I work for fed ex. Fed ex is much better in my experience. But the warehouses are very unorganized causing many packages to get lost

Hire helpers less stress on drivers I always ring bell and pit packages in safe place and still get disputes some customers looking to get people fired this one bit@# said I put door tag on her car I'm like why would I do that smfh

Amazon isn’t ready for the 150lbs packages to deliver. Nor the bulk deliveries to business or pick ups.
@@DonJulio510 Are you kidding? People use Amazon to get bags of dog food delivered to them. 4-5 boxes at a time, because they're too lazy to buy it at the store.
@@edwardgaines6561 thats it? Try delivering furniture by yourself and picking them right back up the next day cause they dont want it. Amazon are still jrs compare to the work fedex and ups does.

@@edwardgaines6561 old and lazy. Oh and being too cheap to actually order furniture from store and having them deliver it themselves so they can actually take more care of their products. Instead they make a third party courier deliver heavy expensive fragile parcels that 50/50 might come bqck broken
They said they delivered my package a week ago, so I called them to say I never got it. They opened up a case for a missing package. I just found out that the case never made it to an agent and was closed.
Fedex ground deserves to go out of business.
Don’t order from Walmart if theres no 2 day shipping because it’s gonna take YEARS FOR IT TO COME, YEARS.
USPS and UPS is more reliable IMO
It would be nice if they would actually SUPPLY customers with an email. All that you can ever do is call customer service minions that have no power to to anything!

Fedex had me scheduled for delivery today June 5th. and assured me it was on the truck for delivery . I have to sign for the package and I gave up 10 hrs. of time and a half to be here. They flat out lied to me . Not only on the website which said it would be delivered today but by one of their agents who assured me it would be delivered today . Fedex sucks.. That's about the nicest thing I have to say about them. I will avoid them and any business who utilizes them in the future for certain. It's Amazon or UPS from this day forward for me .
I’m basically screwed now. FedEx was supposed to deliver something I bought a couple of days ago but it keeps getting delayed because some idiot keeps putting my package on the wrong truck or whatever. I also can’t cancel my order since it’s “On its way to me.” So now assuming my order will never come to me, which it probably won’t, I’m also out of the money I spent.
I know Walmart and Dick’s Sporting Goods uses FedEx for their deliveries so from now on I know not to buy anything online from either of those 2 places.
I swear FedEx employees’ Moms must have smoke or drank while pregnant, or someone in their family dropped them on their head as babies.
Fed ex hires the people no other transportation companies will hire. I live in an apartment complex and they have left a $2,000 bikes outside the building. All they have to do is ring the apartment number from the phone outside. I just called Fed Ex and they said I had to come and pick up my package. I have vertigo and cannot drive and that is why I ordered online. They said they rang my apartment and that no one answered. I was here all day and no one rang at the time they said....lies, I like UPS, I like USPS but Fed Ex has proven over and over again that it is a terrible delivery service. So my package can go back to the supplier and I sent them an email saying they should switch to UPS.

FedEx literally uses that same apology for everything. It's word for word every single time, or very similar.

Everything FedEx delivers to me gets damaged and is late. I too have caught them on camera throwing it at my door.
Every time I order from FedEx Standard shipping never comes on time or it’s two in the fu?king morning. Three weeks after it was supposed to be there and the item inside the box is always smashed to bits I could yell about FedEx for hours

They keep their Customer Service number practically hidden, and when you call to complain it’s always some rude idiot who is completely unhelpful. Try to email a complaint? It gets ignored, they make it hard to find the Customer Service email as well.
They're not sorry for anything, because they won't change anything about how they do business!!!!

Reckless and irresponsible drivers as well. I and two other people nearly got hit in the crosswalk when one of the blew through a red light, thirty seconds after it turned to red.

FedEx ground is terrible. Absolutely shocked by how terribly they're handling my items. They're days late already and they're moving further away everyday. I should have just made the drive myself for same day delivery.
Fedex is just horrible period! I never have a problem with UPS or Amazon. I rarely get a shipping delayed if its Priority on USPS. Whereas at Fedex, my packages enjoy an extended warehouse vacation. My package was supposed to be guaranteed to arrive last week. I am still waiting... to make matters worse, I am supposed to sign for it, so every time they give me a new delivery date, I need to either get the day off or get a relative to stay home. Thank you for being the worse...
This company is pure garbage.... I live next to a warehouse and even then they delay. They should ask Amazon for help to teach them how a logistics company should work.
I have a similiar situation. They are thieves, liars, and incompetent. They have every excuse in the book. They don't listen to anything you have to say. I would never recommend them anyone who stills wants to stay sane!
I am so tired of having to complain to them I am about to cancel my subscription that I need for things that I need for my life every month because these trashy drivers are so destructive! I'm so sick of this company I wish they would go bankrupt or just go away

I just talked to a FedEx official two days ago, as I had over $2000 dollars of product scheduled for delivery. They switched delivery date twice, and on the day it was finally to arrive, they rescheduled it again to an uncertain date. This happens I am not kidding, nearly 100% of the time. It happened again today, not two days later.

My order is supposedly in my area but has been out for delivery for a full day. Used the snowy weather as an excuse for ten days to justify the reason it didn't move for CA.

From a driver perspective, poor management and bad contractors causes these things to happen, and I’m guilty of taking back a truck load of packages due to the fact that the boss wasn’t paying me what we agreed on
3yrs later they have gotten worse. They delivered a PC to a maintenance shed near my property facing away from my house, took a pic. And stated I wasn't being truthful. 3 months with proof still fought me. Took pics of my door anywhere they dropped it off the. Stated it still wasn't their fault. They ended up paying me 950. Took almost 6 months. Sept 24th 2023

FedEx has to be the worst shipping company of them all, for the 2nd time in a month I waited at home all day, only to be notified late in the evening it’s been delayed.
I cannot stand FedEx…and in the future, I will not purchase from a company that uses them.
Am not buying anything from any company that say they use fedex. Buy four tires, fedex delivered half and take a whole week to deliver the other half. Had another package, had to go miles to fedex to pick it up myself because it would take forever to get to me. If you using fedex not buying from you.

Pretty sure is illegal, anyone making an hourly salary is more than likely severely underpaid and aren’t being offered hazard pay like the majority of the drivers
The average Ground driver either pays salary or 1$ a stop.
My contractor pays me way above the normal salary or per stop so I do my job way better.

@@DonJulio510 I have a few questions.. why would a driver lie about a delivery attempt? I took two days off just to sit on my porch to be lied to about 2 supposed delivery attempts.. Why does this happen? Low pay? I mean is it that hard to just do the bare minimum of your job?
@@maurice2014 honestly at my terminal the only drivers that lie about attempted deliveries are stops at apartments and thats because its either a bulk deliver or an heavy package. I don’t know why anyone would lie to attempt a delivery, especially if its a small box or big box to a house.
Most drivers at my terminal if its too big they wont take it till someone else will.
The drivers don't even work for FedEx because they abuse a loophole which allows them to run everything through independent contractors. The average ground driver makes about 50-75% of what the average UPS driver makes usually without any benefits even health insurance.
What has happened to FedEx? They used to be the best, but now? They are the worse. If a retailer ships via FedEx I shop someone else.

FedEx Statement Translator: We are disgusted with how slow these drivers tossed their packages. They should have tossed it from their truck instead of walking up to the door like we trained them to do. We want your tracking number so we tell the driver who is responsible for them being fired.

FedEx used to be among the best but they sure have slipped. They recently left us 2 packages. 1 was ours but the other wasn’t. I could read shippers original label through FedEx label. I called & the phone rep was clueless. I took it to the local store & clerk knew the issue, wasn’t surprised about phone rep. I called recipient & told them to be watching for it. They called back a week later that they still didn’t have it. I guess the local clerk was the only intelligent link in the chain. Bet he’s looking hard for another job. Gotta be miserable.
This was 3 years ago and as of 05/01/24 FedEx is still the worst in our area. I won’t use them.
It's important to distinguish FedEx Ground from FedEx Express. FedEx Express is corporate-owned. FedEx Ground are smaller companies, independently operated. Look carefully at your FedEx Ground delivery driver truck. You will see smaller print of the name of the independent contractor, usually in the bottom right hand corner on the side of the truck, who is responsible for your stop. Those independent contractors are not franchised. That means, there are no minimum standards required for operation.

called C/S yesterday for a late 2nd day air package and was told the "que" was full and they aren't accepting new packages until its clear then new packages will be added. so basically packages are being "held" until there's room for them.

I order a nightstand from IKEA didn’t know it was gonna to be shipped with fedex ☹️ and also a perfume at another store didn’t know it was going to be shipped by FedEx. Now I regret it 2 weeks later I’m still contacting fedex they only reply with a sorry and the two stores just tell me to wait.😓never buying from a store that works with fedex or ups again..
Fedex is the worse delivery service and far worse than others. It stands its own level. Nobody can compete. I got over 60% delay rate. I wonder how it could still survive,

Shippers know packages will be sitting outside why don't they waterproof them instead of a FedEx driver being expected to bag hundreds of packages while doing a whole route and making it to pickups on time
They always give apologies and assure it never happens again. Their apologies don't mean squat. It still continues to happen, I have a package I have been waiting on way past the due date and now they're saying it may be another month but they have the package in their possession. I'm sick of apologies apologizing doesn't get my package. I will never ever buy anything or use FedEx again that uses FedEx. If it ain't UPS I go elsewhere.

How can a company run as poorly as this one? The entire structure needs overhauled. Get rid of the franchise paradigm. The owners don’t care, and the driver absolutely are not committed to excellence at all.
Committed to excellence? Get your own drivers. That would be a start. The owners of the vehicle franchises have their own understanding of excellence and that is: They don’t care and neither do their drivers.
I have never had any issues with UPS and USPS but when it comes to FEDEX! Always lying about delivery date and have my packages delivered to the wrong address lucky for me the the guy who got my packages took the time to bring them to me!! Im waiting for a package now it says Shipment exception weather delay in laurel Ms! I checked the laurel Mississippi weather and is beautiful and sunny! Weather delay is just another fedex lie!! Fedex does sucks!

I lost a job today waiting for them to deliver my work equipment. I have Terminal Cancer and I needed this job. They had the package for 6 days delivered it then came back to pick it up. F-ed by FedEx.

FedEx Ground is works for who owns the route (FedEx Express, FedEx Freight and FedEx Same Day are FedEx employees) if your delivery is late its free just call 1800 number not ground thats the cheapest shipping option thats why round delivers it. You get what you pay for
I had a Fedex package delivered 1 year late. 1 YEAR. Another package they never attempted to deliver but they marked it delivered, I caught them going around the corner and stopped them and got my package. I shouldn't have to chase down delivery drivers to get my packages.
I buy a lot online, and my packages get delivered.
Not always to my house, but someone with the same house number.
Often, I plan my day on the date of delivery.
Whoever is driving this route needs to pay attention to what street he is on, GPS is not always accurate.

I had FedEx drive by my house, (I was sitting on the porch) not make my delivery, then leave the reason that nobody was home to receive the delivery (for a package that didn’t need a signature. I called Fed Ex and the office told me that my package was put on a wrong truck. I wonder who if not everybody lies at FedEx. Jerks!
My goodness, how long does it take Fedex to deliver a package from California to Pennsylvania....well, it's eight days and counting. It was supposed to delivered today, but, I guess it rained somewhere in the US, so it will be delayed, bringing the total to nine days, if we don't get a gusty wind along the way.

If I had the power, the top 400 people at fedex would be homeless. Sad to say but if fedex went broke, the top people would just laugh and go to the beach and party. The top skims the cream so that they have no worrys.
Calling or emailing does no good with Fed Ex. They either do not respond or give a cookie cutter reply and do absolutely nothing. Recently had delivery of refrigerated overnight priority mail that set in their warehouse and was delivered 4 days late. Over 2k worth of mediations were delivered dripping wet and ruined. No response from fed ex except sorry for the delivery delay.
FedEx leaves your packages outside because they want them to be stolen.

demons...you have a priority package that requires signature so you "make delivery attempts" yet leave no door tag? And yet the day you leave one is the day you send it back to the sender instead of giving me the service center info I can pick it up from? And when I call well in advance to fix the situation and explain it is an item over $1500 instead of listening to me explain it is an indpendent person sending it on behalf of an airline you still leave my iPad on a random door step? evil
