May I ask if you were able to do it? Mine sank in the ocean and was able to retrieve right away but the screen is now black so I think it needs replacement.

Hi the phone couldn't be fixed. Due to the salted water in Turkey. Had to recycle. But for you , best no try charging , as would Couse the moisture to spread. Leave in dried rice for 24hours let the moisture soak in. But before take out your SIM tray. Hope it helps and good luck.
Do i need to reset the phone to factory setting before i do this ? Or can i just turn phoke off & start disassembly them
