- Here is my Kids School Lunchbox Ideas video! In today's video, i'm showing you 5 different lunchbox ideas that are sure to please. I love to offer my kids a variety of different lunches when they are away from home. In fact, I think that fixing your kids lunches are the best time to introduce some new food items that they may not eat at home.
Cause here's the deal: whatever's in front of them, is all they have to eat. Think about it. At home, you make dinner, they don't like something or even want to try it! And sometimes, what do we do as mom's? Offer something else! At school, there are no options (well, besides hot lunch, but that's besides the point lol!) So try out some new veggies and fruit on them. It truly is the perfect opportunity to get your kids trying out new and delicious foods!
While the title is named, "Kids School Lunchbox Ideas", these lunches don't have to be just for school. Make them for day trips or family vacations. I've done this several times with these lunch containers because they keep the food all in one place. Rather, when you use a paper bag with lots of plastic wrap or plastic baggies, they can make quite a mess.

My son started pre-school last week and I was totally practicing with him how to open his lunch box/bottle the weeks leading up to it

These videos make me so emotional. Am I the only one?! The love and care that goes into these. I love it 🥹🥹I know my son is super picky now, but I’m going to start introducing his meals like this at home so he’ll hopefully be ready to try new things when he starts pre-k in a few months.
Oh I so feel you on that! It is emotional cause it's a new chapter in our kids lives aka they're getting bigger 😭 but it's so bittersweet! I’m glad to see your kids’ lunches looks similar to mine… I basically give them bits and pieces of leftovers but they always enjoyed and clear it out for me! 😅. Varieties is the key!

Love these ideas. My son wants either cheese/pepperoni, a sandwich or a salad or everyday. I switch up his chips/crackers, fruit, and vegetables though so always looking for new ideas. ❤ Just found you today and so glad.

I love when mom make food for their kids. Lately I learned to make flour tortilla and my kids love it he said mom this so good please make it more. He knows how to get me work for him lol

Thanks for the video. My kids had the same lunchboxes. But they broke on the edges and then the lid . But did go for almost 2 years.
I've had a couple break too, just like you stated, but this has been over the span of 7-8 years so not too bad! I also feel, that was my kids doing hahaha! 😂 I can see my younger son being rough and squeeze the lid back on so he can rush out to recess 😅

Yes you're so right about keeping it easy on ourselves! I see so many videos of adults making these intricate lunches (like drawing or painting cute faces and designs!) when the kids are just going to devour them (or throw them away lol) in seconds! Wow butter is my favorite substitute for peanut butter it tastes just like peanut butter and has the same consistency its peanut and tree nut free as well as gluten free.
You're so right Jodi, it tastes nearly exactly the same as PB! A great alternative for those that can't have peanut butter! 😍

Hi what kind of tortillas is that one ? Was it called and where can I find it ?
Hi there! They are the Guerrero soft taco flour tortillas that I get from Costco, but I've also seen them at WinCo and Walmart. Just a lot cheaper to buy them from Costco cause they're a two pack and I can keep one of the packs in the fridge and then freeze the other pack. Hope this helps and thanks for watching! 🥰
What brand Italian dressing u have used

Do u make pizza or store bought one
Twice a month I'll make our own pizzas! The kids always stick with their fav pepperoni (and olives sometimes!), while I make more of a grown-up pizza for me and my husband, which lately we've been loving buffalo grilled chicken pizza! Sooo good! And once or twice a month, we'll pick up pizza from our fav local pizza place!

My grandson age 4 years so..picky eater. He in kindergarten. My donferl whatever u give is the meal if he refused to eat it his issue he claims the dr says it. I feel.bad I feelwhy be forced to eat food he won't lije I need good idea recipes . U have a nice way to show parents.
My dr used to say give him what he likes after a meal a couple hours later my grandson will say he hungry but my son refuses to give him.anything. especially before bed time .
Oh Edith I'm sorry, I can feel you on picky eaters! My daughter is going in and out of that stage right now. She'll eat everything on her plate one day and the next, will take a few bites of veggies but no protein, the next day the opposite. Just keep offering a variety of foods cause if he's hungry, he'll eat it. 💖
