been a while since I've seen such a basic video content nice to see , kids don't have a clue about carberated engines
Can't think of two guys I would rather see working on this.
Better you than me, brother 😅
Removing an engine from any carbureted car is easy, especially GM vehicles.Theres almost never more than 6-7 wires, and everything else is just removing bolts and nuts. Penetrating oil on Chevy exhaust studs/bolts is a must, they are only 3/8 diameter and often break off, usually not an issue on Fords which used 7/16 manifold studs.
I keep telling my neighbor, if you cant work on an old Chevy you have no business trying to do anything on any car.
Wish I had been there for that one! Good stuff to see.
Just curious, why not take the engine and trans together? I know you guys know a lot more about this stuff than I do, but I’ve done it with my Camaro both ways and it seems a lot easier to me to pull them together.
When I put an engine on a stand. I pull the head off the stand and mount it to the block . And then slide it back in the stand. My two cents
Street Dominator intake?
