Teddy is so cute! Hotel employee here. Yeah, we don't want you to leave your baby alone in a room with just a monitor, even if the restaurant is really close. :)
Looks amazing! We have a 5 month old and thinking about Japan too. A little scared. Curious if you are willing to share how was the sleep transition upon coming home after giving into the co-sleeping?
It took him about a week and a half to adjust back to his normal schedule ! He’s now back in his own room, in his crib, sleeping 12 hrs a night 😌 so happy lol
Teddy is soooo adorable! Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re planning to make a similar trip once our baby turns 6-8m old. I had a few questions! 1. Was Teddy able to adjust back to his 10-12 hour nighttime sleep once he got home? 2. What do you wish you brought and what would you have left at home? 3. Did you find it challenging to find places to eat that were kid friendly? Did you use any resources to help check beforehand if restaurants were accommodating? 4. If you were to do it all over again would you have shortened the trip/stayed longer/kept it the same? Thank you!!!
Hi !! 1. Yes, he was! It took him about a week and a half to adjust back to his normal schedule. He would have trouble staying asleep in the beginning, but eventually adjusted and is back to sleeping 12 hrs a night! 2. I honestly felt like I had everything I needed. Towards the end, we ran out of diapers and had to buy a huge pack there and ended up having the pack all these extra diapers home, so maybe just a few more days worth of diapers wouldve been helpful. 3. Only one restaurant turned us away and said no kids, but we didn't have too much trouble for the most part. Some restaurants are pretty small, so they ask you to leave your stroller outside. It's so safe there, so no one would steal it. We would just have to old Teddy in our laps while we ate, or he would lay down if we had booth seating. 4. If I were to do it all over again, I would've maybe done one week. I was pretty home sick by the end of the first week. That was also my 5th time in Japan. I think 1 week or maybe 10 days would've been good for me.
Teddy so so stinkin cuteee!!! His name fits him perfectly; such an adorable cuddle buddy!! You look amazing too! How do you look even younger?? Preganacy aged me haha
I’m planning on traveling to Japan soon with a 4month old, almost 3 yr old and 6 yr old. Would you recommend taking car seats if we’ll be mostly using public transportation and I plan on taking our double stroller but will need to get a new one since all we have is a side by side and I know it might not fit through doorways etc.
Trying to find vlogs of family with baby in stroller in japan! Is it stroller friendly? Minus the train station that i saw were lots of stairs up and down.
Planning to go with 1 yr old baby and 5 yo in January and its winter. Not a lot of vlog about winter family trips in japan. Anyone any mommas in the comment can give tips too?
No, we didn’t rent a car but definitely took a taxi a few times in the city and also to and from the airport ! The Doona stroller/car seat was PERFECT for this trip. It’s nice and small, and when we couldn’t find an elevator, we adjusted the handle bar straight up and each grabbed one side and carried it up or down the stairs. OR, one of us would carry him and the other would take the stroller up/down. It was great !
Hey. I found your blog really nice as me and my husband are flying to japan with out 6 month old. If I may ask, could you please tell me how to manage on the feedings and pumping? Also is safe to feed a baby post an alcoholic drink? There are so many things to ask and i am sorry i know its not a latest blog but i will be grateful if you could reply. Thanks
@@shreenidhisingh2643 hi ! So I was exclusively breastfeeding during this trip. My lactation consultant told me 1-2 glasses of wine is likely fine for me. I would ask your doctor or pediatrician or lactation consultant about drinking and breastfeeding !!
How did you find breastfeeding in public - although covered ? I saw another vlog that said it was a bit of a taboo in restaurants etc. x thanks in advance x
The coziest Japan vlog ever!! 🧸 What an exciting first adventure for the little one! 🤎
oh look spoiled brats commenting on each other.

@@zaimahamzah there are elevators but sometimes they are out of the way/inconvenient to get to. Japan overall is very baby friendly, though !

It was fine ! I just wore a nursing cover. I didn’t find that people were staring or seemed uncomfortable.
Hi, just wondering, which hotel did you stay at? I'm looking for a hotel that provide cots/bassinets. Thanks! :)
