Yep, still remember. Found her cover of the FFIX intro song because my baby son liked hearing it to go to sleep. Her Zelda medley was posted on his birthday.
All of these are so beautiful in their own ways, I love them. Hearing some of them at the end was amazing as well. There's a difference in the sounds, but each still sounds incredible playing your song! Most of all, I love your enthusiasm showing the violins, so great to see such genuine happiness.
I enjoyed this video so much. 😊 Can you do one on a typical day of practice including your favourite warm ups , surroundings and any tips to keep on track when struggling with a new piece. Thanks ❤️
You have a beautiful laugh! I loved seeing your first violin. My father grew up playing and the only one he still had while I was growing up was his childhood violin. Thank you for showing them to us!
haha thank you! I laugh quite often, I usually cut out my laughing outbursts when I do vlogs but since my husband is working with me now he insisted I keep those in 😂
How genuine you are Taylor! Such a beautiful smile and aura you have.. Your enthusiasm makes each of your violins sound even more marvelous. On the vlog side, music production process would be a good subject, or other things that you wish to share. 👍 We are in, waiting...
I started following your channel like a year ago, and I fell in love with violins. And this video, after watching that, I feel like I'm intoxicated. Off all the instruments that exist in the world, the violin has an irreplaceable place in my heart and soul. 🎻 🎻 🎻 ❤❤ You're the best Taylor!!!
Whenever I get nervous in public or have an anxiety attack I always listen to your original music to calm me. Starfire is my favorite, but all if them are so beautiful and relaxing that it immediately puts me at ease. I just wanted to thank you so much for creating these beautiful sings that have helped me so much. ❤
i am so happy i found you one year ago you got me into violin music and turned to being a violin player for now in a orchestra thanks so much love your music playing now for 10 months so happy with it
I subscribed almost 2+ years ago & I don’t play any instruments, but I love how the violin sounds and stumbling across your channel made my love for violin grow over the past few years.
I can play guitar and piano decently but I always wanted to play a violin. I borrowed my uncle's fiddle and after a month I gave up. It's definitely something you have to dedicate yourself to. So I have a special admiration for those who can play it and play it well.
Thank you so much for inspiring me Taylor!! I’ve been listening to and wanting to play the violin since 3rd grade (in 6th now) and finally took a strings class and got a violin yesterday! I’ve been watching you since 2015, and really look up to you!! Thank you so much!!!!
I remember as a kid in grade school my dad went out of his way to buy a Stradivarius replica for my violin class, I loved playing the instrument it always felt relevant.
About 10 years ago I started playing violin, about 8 years ago i almost quit. But, I saw your first couple Final Fantasy videos and keep on churning. I might not be a world class violin player, but you definitely kept me playing through my orchestra in college and have kept giving me ideas all the time. Thank you for being an awesome role model and an amazing musician!
Taylor. You're so real and wonderful. Thank you for you music. It really brings joy to my heart. As for potential video ideas, I think I would like to see videos showing how you practice and what that process is like.
Thank you for showing us your collection. Especially the story behind the liquid one. Always referred it as the makar violin, the shape reminds me a lot of a tree vine/leaf mash up. Temple of time/storm song was the first video I saw and was blown away. Thanks for everything.
what a terrific video. The carbon fiber electric vs with the mic. Mic was such a warmer sound, but great you can have both. Taylor Davis is such a personality.
Taylor, you have inspired me to play the violin! I play the viola as my main instrument, and I am in the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York, in the symphony. I absolutely love your videos, and you inspire me to be a better musician! ❤️❤️❤️
Love this video showing your collection. I am still in the learning process but have started collecting a few early on because I enjoy the different sounds they have. I am partial to your carbon fiber violin. My husband has a carbon fiber guitar and the sound quality is better than most of his other better brand name ones. I feel my best violin is an old, (pre-1900) one I bought from a violin store in New Orleans. All I was told was that it was played often and came from Jackson, MS. No brand name and several repairs, but it just sounds cool to me. I didn't want to purchase it without consulting with my husband who is the true musician in the family. He is wheelchair bound and could not get into the store because most older buildings are not handicapped accessible. They allowed me to take a couple of violins outside to trial them so he could hear. Nothing like playing twinkle, twinkle, little star on the streets of New Orleans!! He agreed with me that the older one had the best sound, so that's the one I chose. Now I'm hoping that my playing can someday match the quality of my violin! Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
I don't know how to describe it but I really like how your favourite violin sounds because it has an "additional" sound to it (it's hard to describe). My own violin (at least the one that I'm using right now, I also own a quarter violin) also has a similar thing. It's completely different, but also something which is more or less a the character of the violin. It also has no label because it was made by a more or less local violin maker (it's from Oldenburg in Germany), but it was made during the early 2000s. However currently unfortunately I don't play that much.
Yea that's a good way to describe it! It's something that's sometimes not as noticeable unless you're playing it back to back with another instrument, but once you've played on something like that it's hard to think about going back haha 😂That's cool that you have a similar violin, I bet it's awesome to play on!
I started to be a fan of violin because of you . you are amazing . and my favorite is the last one it had somehow a different sound than the rest . and keep up this beautiful work
i like to learn violin from you i am watching yours videos for so long and i really love them and after seeing you playing the violin. you inspired to me to learn it and i recently bought one. so, i will be really glad to learn violin from you and of course there are thousands of people want the same maybe. thank you and keep making videos love ya.
Thank you for sharing your violins and the story behind some of them. I like the carbon fiber violin. Also love that you do this from home. Can't wait to see more of your videos.
The three violins you played at the end of the video were the same ones I was hoping to hear! I've looked online at the carbon fiber & liquid violins. They all sounded great but I agree that the last one (your fav) had the best sound to my ear. I am learning to play now and enjoy the instrument so much. I love your music!
I love your personality and laughter and the energy :) you make watching your videos fun and leave us wanting more of you and your music. And that mandatory cuddle break was totally necessary.
You are my favourite violinist....actually I wished to start learning to play the violin and wished to listen to a few pieces....you were a great inspiration....love you .....i hope I could learn from u.....😍😍😊😊😊😊😉
Great collection! I just wanted to say again, thank you so much for signing my violin at 2D Con! I hope someday I am able to start a small collection of my own. Keep making great music!
Since 2014 December at the first day I saw your amazing channel you inspired me to do the same thing in my guitar ..till now i still training but your channel give me the will to continue (in fact my collection is only one training guitar 😅😅)I love you're music
The liquid violin looks straight out of a Zelda game - how appropriate! I think my favorite is the viper though, reminds me of a Gibson Flying V 😄 Love all your stuff, thank you for bringing so much joy to so many people and sharing this side of yourself with us!
Hey Taylor. I really love your videos. You are my first inspiration to start playing the violin. I am mostly self taught violinist except for a few beginner classes and your videos always motivated me to improve. I remember when I picked up the violin, I wanted to play Concerning Hobbits so bad because that is my favorite music since childhood and when I found your rendition, I would listen to it everyday hoping to be able to play it as beautifully as you did. Learning without a teacher was a really difficult task but now I have performed multiple solo performances during my school orchestras due to great inspirations like you. Now, I rarely get time to practice but I always listen to your albums because they bring joy to me . Much love from Nepal.
That was a fun memory trip. Considering you go to some very scenic locations, you could always make vlogs about the area you set up in or the trip there. Maybe throw in a segment of stopping at a local place for food or a shop. Maybe even supplies for the video, if needed. Either way, keep it up and hope to see the next video soon!
Wow you have a load of violins they're amazing and beautiful I've only just recently got out of physiotherapist listen to a load of your songs love them thank you for being there
I've been planning making a string instrument with a #10 coffee can as the base. At first I was apprehensive about moving forward with the design I have, but your collection has inspired me to hop back on that project~!( it's been in my shop collecting dust, lol)
I would have kept that small one you started on and the one you played in high school too. I'm kinda sentimental like that. my grandfather played the violin and I so wanted his violin when he passed away many years ago but his brother got it and now I don't know where it's at. I was going to hang it on the wall and just remember my grandfather playing it, btw he was deaf. take care of yourself Taylor and I appreciate your music very much.
I remember finding you YONKS ago, like years, and though I haven’t followed you super closely, whenever I do come back, I feel super homely, and I really don’t know why! It might be that I found you through your video game content and that resonated with me well, and it was so long ago that I just recognise you instinctively now (I even have some of your earlier Zelda content on my 3DS and I would listen to it during my holidays, maybe that could be a reason? Idk!) Thanks for all your hard work!
Loved hearing the differences. Such great rich sounds from all your violins. That antique though.... what a sound! Instantly understandable why it's your favorite!
You are very talented, no, extremely talented. Love the sound of the carbon fiber violin being recorded acoustically. The last one, your favorite, I thought sounded really crispy.
Any kind of vlogs you want to do would be great. They are always enjoyable. Wow, those are some of the most badass violins I've ever seen. I really like the Carbon Fiber~ The Aurora and Viper look so cool~
It was so cool to see all the violins and hear the differences. I love your music! You are the one who got me into violin music, I just wish I could play too.
I'd love to see more vlogs of your travels to the places you visit for concerts, and also maybe Live Q&A's on UA-cam? Behind the scenes stuff for videos and more about you! Like favorite experiences while on tour or more about what made you start violin and ect! 😊😊♥️
Thanks so much for making this. It's so great to see you talking about these. It's so apparent the joy you have in playing and the love of your craft and these instruments. I love all the different once you have.
Omg i started when i was 8 too!!! I was lucky to be big enough for a full size (it was a but big for a while but the smaller sizes were too small). I am 23 now and i still use the same violin (sentimental value but the sound is amazing and also because i cant afford a nicer one). I know ive said this before but indont have enough money to pay for sheet music so i play by ear a lot of the time and your music comprises a lot of the music that i love to play. Thank you so much!!!
Just get some sheets online and print them out. If you need it also a simple music stand doesn't cost that much. I think a K&M music stand costs 15-20€. I began when I was 8 too, but at first I owned a cheap quarter violin, went to a half (borrowed) and finally a full violin. This one has both sentimental value and a really good sound.
I love you! I have decided to play violin seeing your songs and videos ! You are fantastic ! I' m Italian and I dont know if I have done some mistakes in the message, sorry
that was cool to see. I didn't realize just how many different violins there are and I never knew before that there were electric violins. violin music is just so pretty and you do such an amazing job keep it up. I and I'm sure everyone else can see in all your videos just how much you enjoy what you are doing; you can see it in the way you play and your facial expression.
Creative , Modest , Lovely U R just the best it was you who made me in love with the violin i can't thank u enough and we all here do love u very much keep so on making these awesome videos as always please 😁
Thanks for this amazing video! I waited to watch this through with my stereo speakers as *I absolutely needed* to hear your violins at their best possible sound (at least as far as the internet can offer versus irl). Looking forward to more of these videos. Keep up the spectacular work, and thanks for your inspiration!
Wow, it was awesome to see all of these violins up close, especially since I've been drooling over some of them, haha! The Luis and Clark violin sounds amazingly warm. And the paint job done on that Viper violin is downright genius!
I’m sorry but your voice is so pretty! I’m a violinist myself and I’ve been playing for a very long time. I think your videos are great and I enjoy listening to your music! Keep up the good work!

Haha aww thanks so much for being here for so long!
I do. Wow, time sure does fly.
I remember. ViolinTay along with Lindsey Sterling and Gbritney were my 3 to follow. Time flies
Yep, still remember. Found her cover of the FFIX intro song because my baby son liked hearing it to go to sleep. Her Zelda medley was posted on his birthday.
Yeah when she was still recording in the kitchen :D
All of these are so beautiful in their own ways, I love them.

Taylor Davis I agree with him!
I love how much you love what you do. Your energy is inspiring.
That was awesome! I love the look of the liquid violin but the last one has such a beautiful sound! Love love love!😍😍😍
All of your violins are beautiful, especially the liquid violin and the violin you had when you were 8 years old
I think a vlog on tour logistics, scheduling and so would be very interesting and informative.
I would love to see how you manage the stress during tours and some live reactions from your fans. Those always hype me up!
I think it would be interesting to see a music video process vlog. How it starts, ends, and everything in between.
How genuine you are Taylor! Such a beautiful smile and aura you have..
Your enthusiasm makes each of your violins sound even more marvelous. On the vlog side, music production process would be a good subject, or other things that you wish to share. 👍 We are in, waiting...

Love seeing all your different violins. Such a huge difference in tone between the CF violin and your main baby.
Don't ever stop being so passionate about creating music. EVER.
I love how when you play, you smile. Showing that you are true to the violin and your career. Very entertaining video.
I absolutely LOVE the sound of that carbon fiber violin!!!! I definitely want one of those in the future.
Nice. You made me a fan of violin music. Fell in love with violin music after your Circle of Life video.
Sigi Soltau Same here.

Taylor, you are phenomenal and it matters not which instrument you play they are equally acquiescing to your will. Love you
I never mention this before but you were the first who make me love violin.

Great...now I have to go listen to Starfire to get my brain to stop freaking out. Loved this Taylor keep up the amazing work!

You have such a wonderful beautiful talent. Thanks so much for sharing your collection!!!
Great collection of violins. And I got to say: you do have a good reason for loving the last violin, the sound is incredible.
Hey Taylor, I've started learning to play violin recently. You violin covers (pirate in specific) is my inspiration. Best regards.
It's so cool to hear the differences in tone between the various instruments! Thanks for doing this!
I really understand why the last is your favourite violin. It sounds wonderfully😍
I don't think it's possible to not like Taylor. She's just so sweet and flowery! 🌸
Wow you have a load of violins they're amazing and beautiful I've only just recently got out of physiotherapist listen to a load of your songs love them thank you for being there
I started violin a year now and you are my idol
I've been planning making a string instrument with a #10 coffee can as the base. At first I was apprehensive about moving forward with the design I have, but your collection has inspired me to hop back on that project~!( it's been in my shop collecting dust, lol)
Pretty amazing....I wish I could learn to play. Thanks for making your wonderful music available.
Idk!)
Thanks for all your hard work!
Loved hearing the differences. Such great rich sounds from all your violins. That antique though.... what a sound! Instantly understandable why it's your favorite!
Very interesting to watch. I am looking forward to the studio VLOG!

Cool, thanks for sharing Noah! I'd love to do more Q&As and bts stuff 😊
Really cool! 😁🎻🇧🇷

Thank you for doing this vlog. I enjoying hearing the stories and the different sounds of each one. I still prefer the sound of acoustic or electric.
Thanks so much for making this. It's so great to see you talking about these. It's so apparent the joy you have in playing and the love of your craft and these instruments. I love all the different once you have.
Wow these violins are all so beautiful ❤ 😍
That's huge. You are the goddess of violin.A great musician 😍
I'm getting my very own violin in a week! I'm so excited because I've been renting for 5 years!

I started at 8 too! I am 15 now and I have a violin which is... quite broken yet sentimenal
edit: when I mean broken it keeps getting out of tune.
Have you tried going to a violin maker? They can also fix instruments. Of course it has to be a good violin maker though.
ThePandafriend Its hard to find one in the country.
Absolutely adore you and your music ....so happy to listen !!
I love you! I have decided to play violin seeing your songs and videos ! You are fantastic ! I' m Italian and I dont know if I have done some mistakes in the message, sorry
I’m happy you didi Starfire, I’m in love with this song (and the music video was amazing!!!)
that was cool to see.
