The whole Paul is dead thing is so incredibly stupid, because Paul has such a unique and peculiar face. There's simply not one else in the world that looks exactly like him or even similar, you can't just face swap someone to look like him.

    • @Eidann63

Absolutely.. media driven and clearly no one could sing or compose or look exactly like Paul . He’s not a common looking man. It’s because they “weren’t there” and like to make things out of nothing to write books about.

The sentence "How in the world did the biggest conspiracy, about the biggest band, at the height of thier popularity, become a cultural phenomenon?" is the definition of a question literally answering itself.

The whole PID conspiracy today is largely being driven by Paul or Billy himself with his infamous book. It has probably always been HIM, whomever you think HE s, driving this whole narrative since it began.

@@Eidann63Because they were the biggest band in the world and at the top of their popularity and acclaim, the conspiracy the theory easily caught traction.
And because they remain a worshipped entity whom many would say are the best band that ever existed and no one would argue with them, even if they didn't particularly like the music or listen to it, and because conspiracy theories are immensely popular these days due to the fact that many of the crazy conspiracy theories of yesteryear turned out to be factual accounts of what actually occured, along with the fact that we have been and continue to be blatantly lied to by those who we once believed were telling us the truth, PID remains fascinating, whether you believe it is true or not.

@JesseNothing33 Oasis couldn't hold a candle to them. They copied the Beatles' music and mixed it with glam rock such as Slade and punk rock. They copied Paul Weller's mod revival look, which in turn was copied from the Who.
Blur were said to have been influenced by the Beatles and the Clash.

No actually he’s not identical. Try some research. None of that matches. Also he was in Japan, held on charges, they found out his fingerprints didn’t match. There’s also other research, I need to find it because I forgot most of it but it had to do with a scientist type who compared photos and said it’s not Paul. There’s so much info. You’d need to look at it. Some sources do have side by side photo comparisons.

This is the problem that people never address , the difference in appearance from the press conference in august of 1966, during their last tours, to just four months later, where someone appears, at abbey road studios wearing a turtleneck , a fake mustache, and probably a hair piece which you term slight difference in appearance, funny how no one has ever asked him, how he could suddenly gain height at 24 years, listed at 5ft9 and lennon at 5ft 10, and on the sgt pepper cover hes taller than john and george, why the prop up? have different ear lobes, or prosthetic ears, have different eye color, from brown to green? Have a longer face, as opposed to a smaller round face, ignoring all that, literally hundreds of clues implying his demise, through symbolism, backward and forward sounds, decoded messages, and yet not one time has he ever really had to answer any of these questions, the british government would not even release the fingerprint documents, when he was detained in japan in 1980, which might explain why a simple drug charge was being held up for days on end. Im not saying he died and was replaced, but im not going to just accept that there could not have been something nefarious going here, its a mystery that wont be resolved until someone within the high eschalon of the british government, or tavistock, or MK ultra, produce a whistleblower that has the same information that heather mills was going to have released , if anything happened to her, she was paid off generously, for her silence. Several years back ringo came out and repeated the same paul is dead story, he wasnt joking, as paul dismissed it as ringo acting somewhat delusional from time to time, it was a ploy because ringo was angry he wasnt being inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame as a solo artist, and lo and behold , a quick phone call, and hes in, and all is well with ringo and paul again, people stop dismissing everything because it interferes with your narrative of your perception of reality, and take the time it requires to ask questions, about everything, this is not as cut and dry as you might think..

Funny thing is .. my friends and I were the biggest Beatle fans that ever walked .. from age 14 on.. We were in S.Cali and went to Sunset Strip Hollywood every weekend (after 16 getting our drivers licenses) and Griffith Park for Lov-in’s on Sundays, 1966- 1970. I went to the first Beatle concert at the Hollywood Bowl.. Box 111 .. Aug 23rd 1964. Who doesn’t remember Dave Hull (KRLA) and his being regularly kicked off the radio (and being rehired by fans calling in) for doing crazy stunts to talk with the Beatles when they came to town? The “funny thing is” part, is this (Paul is dead) thing was not a thing to any of us. It wasn’t even more than maybe (don’t remember) a casual conversation in a packed car of teens, an “urban legend.” We evidently spoke about it but it’s no memory of mine. I think it was more “media” driven than anything. The much bigger deal were the “secret messages” playing the music backwards. Looking at it now I see how future culture changes things and focus’s on stuff that wasn’t really such a mystery for anyone living through the time it happened. We were more focused on every new album they made and interested in the fabulous music, going to concerts (and Monterey Pop Festival in ‘67) and having fun. We never believed anyone was dead; it would have been a mI find it a bit boring & rificulas and “beside the point” now.

That kind of nonsense got John Lennon murdered.
I was THERE at the time as an avid "Beatles" fan --
JOHN LENNON SAID PUBLICLY that in response to "fans" finding "hidden messages" THAT DIDN'T EXIST, he put in bits of NONSENSE for them to "figure out".
Those asshole fans dug in their heels and INSISTED the "clues" were there REGARDLESS what "The Beatles" said.
Then the "Paul is dead" HOAX was made up by two college kids MOCKING those fans -- they subsequently said so PUBLICLY in effort to get the point across that those "fans" were FULL OF SHIT.
