The “funny thing is” part, is this (Paul is dead) thing was not a thing to any of us. It wasn’t even more than maybe (don’t remember) a casual conversation in a packed car of teens, an “urban legend.” We evidently spoke about it but it’s no memory of mine. I think it was more “media” driven than anything. The much bigger deal were the “secret messages” playing the music backwards.
