Amazing effort Paul. You make it look so easy but that was one of the few films where you looked pretty spent (and muddy!). Classic Quarter for me on Saturday. 🤞
You've really mastered the format of these videos now, Paul. Brilliant stuff. I still can't believe how many ultras you get through, it's mind boggling. I'm doing my first 50k tomorrow 👍🏻🙂
Good luck with the 50k. Don’t set off near front. Best to start at back, make yourself go slow and then enjoy the day and survive in one piece all the way to the finish
Well done Paul, the last 30 miles were super tough underfoot. I finished a couple of seconds (visible in the video) ahead of you having hiked in the last 13 miles due to a glute injury i picked up during the race. 4 weeks till SDW100! Hope your recovery is going well.

"Buggered now though!" 🤣 Great vid. I am looking forward to running this in 2025. Thank you.
Good luck and hopefully it will stay dry for you
Absolutely amazing!! Well done Paul. 🏅
Thank you Wendy
Great achievement under 24 hours Paul, well done. Not surprised you looked shattered at the end. I bet getting that mud off felt good!
It was so good to get my shoes off and start drying my feet. The pasta at the finish and several cups of tea really helped
Awesome achievement. Thanks for sharing this video.
Glad you liked it, it was a long journey and still seems unreal to go from London to Oxford in one go( with quite a lot of walking)
Brilliant Paul. Really enjoyed the video. Your face at the end. Made me feel very happy that you'd done it. Cracking job fella 👍👌👏💪
Hi Jason. I think it was a realisation that I had done it, and that I could relax a bit, and go and get some food
Greatness again. Well done.
It was very much survival mode I think 💭
Brilliant. Always wish these videos were longer. Got my first ultra next weekend in Guildford
Which ultra are you doing? Good luck 🤞
@@PaulCoatesTrailRunning The Fox - thanks!
@@mattb6873 - the fox is a great event.
Really enjoyed watching that!
I was so glad to see the sun rise. I had a low around 60 miles, and the night bit went on forever
Fantastic effort Paul
One for you one day Rog?
Amazing effort Paul. You make it look so easy but that was one of the few films where you looked pretty spent (and muddy!). Classic Quarter for me on Saturday. 🤞
I was a tad tired. I think everyone struggled in the mud. Hope the sun comes out for your classic quarter

Yes Paul!!!! Huge kudos on the sub 24 mate!!!! Cracking run! Huge kudos to Maria too and also Jo! 😎🤘
Team effort. So tough, so I was just pleased to finish
Amazing Paul, massive congrats for getting this done and in sub 24, super achievement especially in that mud bath you had!
- it was character building I think. Thank you
Amazing effort Paul 💪 🏃♂️
Cheers buddy
Well done Paul. 👏👏 It looked like a tough day out 😃
I think the rain and mud made it more difficult for everyone
This is just unimaginable to me 😂 amazing endurance!!
It was a bit of a death March during the night

Fingers crossed your injury improves. I have NDW 50 next week, so hoping my feet are better by then
Conditions looked grim. Definitely rather you than me! Powering through the night like a hero! 🎉
Thank you Dan. Still recovering now
Well done. Think you were a bit out of it in the end. Great achievement.
I was a bit tired by the end
Well done on this massive achievement! Do you have any recommendations for a first ultra near London? Looking to up the game from marathon to ultra 🤞

Well done. I was hoping for Sub 24 but with that mud seemed impossible. That night section really was tough wasnt it?
It was soul destroying at times. Struggled just to stand up at times
Superb work Brad Pitt! Great seeing you push through all that mud, just like donkey tours, eh?!
More like Bambi on ice in the mud
