Yes its a good option at that price. You can also consider the Vu Masterpiece 2024 which is better and the Hisense Q7N. Both of them are Full Array Local Dimming panels and are brighter than the C655 and plus they have 4K@120hz.
Not sure whether this matters, Acer originally don't have dedicated TV division. They've just licenced their brand name to some OEM who is involved in everything right from design & R&D.

Always check what settings the display TV's are on. True test will be to check keeping the TV's for the same content on similar settings. Like test the Cinema/Filmmaker Mode of the TV's. Check the Dynamic mode in the TV's. And try playing Dolby Vision or HDR10+ content on both or more TV's to check how it fares. The C655 is a good purchase for the price.

So many budget TVs are available with UHD high refresh rate HDR new panel types , but why the same isn't happening with computers Monitors UHD 60hz is decent , but it jumps in price if we want higher refresh rate . then one has to reduce resolution to QHD to get more refresh rate .
Unfortunately, here in India we do not have many options in monitors but in the west and in other asian countries, there are plenty options available even in budget.
M series sirf 65 inch and 75 inch main aarahi hai then 89, 999 is for 65 inch I think. At this price Acer TV will be much more cheaper than U7N and C755 for 65 inch.

I would get a Mini LED over a Mi OLED brother. At least the Mini LED will not have Burn in risks.
