Park town station is going to get the long platform for the express trains to hault as per the railway report. And also their was a proposal to connect the central sub urban and part town station via sub way but not sure about it now

MRTS go live not likely before next year. At current progress we are likely to see all of this operational by next Tamil New Year ie April 2025. Nothing likely before.

Don't understand why the government is not able to complete the work in parktown station and open it, even after one year. Worst central and state governments, don't worry about public. Just concentrate on corruption.

There was once a time where they ran suburban rail service on 4 tracks 2 on the usual tracks(same as now) and 2 extra tracks were used back in 2000s
