In the world of chainsaw, there is no replacement for displacement. The 680 engine 66.7cc is bad ass. Oh I also dremmed out the bottom exhaust port on the 680 making the bottom hole one and half times bigger and that helped a lot. I am very happy with the way she runs and I have a 3/8 chain
just got the 680 and it cuts better and sounds betting than the 620. a lot more torq but than again there is a 7cc difference.

Dan Kruger I took limiter caps off both. They are plastic and not metal. 620p is more powerful.
