Theyre dropping on a carpet floor, this greatly reduces impact, thats not how drop tests should be done, if it was dropped on a tile floor, then its totally gonna end up with many cracks!

I'm actually really glad you guys did the drop and spill tests. I'm very careful with my controllers, but I do worry about that tech inside there failing. It's nice to know that they're pretty sturdy controllers
What if i have a ps5 controller in my hands and i hit my elbow on the floor or table and the controller vibrates. Does that mean that my controller is broke
Every time you dropped it, my heart broke a bit.
The drop test isn't conclusive!
Basically the damage taken will depend on the thickness of the carpet!
I say drop tests should be done on Tile floors!
Imagine throwing a ps5 controller and it comes back like a boomerang.
I once threw my PS4 controller. It bounced off the settee and landed upside down on the floor. No damage.
Few days ago I threw my ps4 contoller in the wall and bounced off in my laptop display and broke it.. But the controller is fine :))

I just drop my ps5 controller and it slid across my tile floor and literally felt pain in my heart until I realized it didn’t even leave a scratch. Thank you Sony but they need to do something about these companies buying them all up then reselling them for double.

Just a couple of notes... they do make usb c to ethernet adapters that work with your phones (I'm a network engineer and use one several times a week) also the game streaming option to the phone app mostly relies on upload speed from the console, which if your screen grab is correct is pretty pitiful. 🙃 love the videos!

I thought my ps5 was broken when it didn’t take off like a jet engine during photo mode.
Please provide feedback after disabling airplane mode in case this might be a fix for the rest of us.
Just got my PS5 (never thought I'd get lucky enough to snag one till next year) and tbh I can't say too many heavy gamers benefiting from decreased PS4 game load times as with the sparse amount of internal disk space that thing will fill up quick from PS5 titles alone! I have a 2 or 3TB external HDDs that I store my PS4 titles on and even then there isn't the space to have everything installed.
I hope the mechanism for the adaptive triggers holds out cause that feature's fantastic.

Holy crap when that soda was being poured directly onto the controller my anxiety level shot up much more than expected lol.
On the ds5 teardown videos. All the bga chips are in the bottom of the pcb. The ds4 has microchips right underneath the analog sticks. If one drop of water ingress, it's toast. Not so for ds5. Sony has learned their lesson. 👌

I was lucky to get my pre-ordered PS5 on the launch day, which was perfect since my PS4 Pro's disk drive literally died so I can't use disks on it anymore, which isn't great for someone who buys all her games on disk 😂 It's pretty ridiculous though how hard it is for people to get one. I'm extremely lucky, but my brother in law sadly couldn't get one. Hopefully when more people start getting their PS5's, I can buy a replacement drive for my PS4 Pro.

I commented on a video a while back talking crap about how load times are still long, I was wrong and took new hardware for granted. I recently played some old games and the load time are crazy long and I just wasn't appreciative of how quick they are now, especially ps5

I find the only time it's been loud was for maybe less than a minute every so often when a disc is in the console. It's not 100% quiet, in a quiet room you'll barely hear it. It's nice

3:06 my PS2 controller: I paved the way young one
In my experience with repairing Dualshock 4 controllers, the damage actually never seemed to come from the initial soda contact, but instead some time later when the acid in the syrup corroded the little plastic membrane traces on the inside. Pretty easy fix. The part was only something like three dollars to replace.
Damn I really want a PS5. I don’t know how much longer I can wait!

Unfortunately the efficient ventilation of the ps5 heavily oxidizes the coffee beans during the brew. It would be a terrible coffee maker, at least to my knowledge
bro my most favourite part was when the controller was just perfectly fine after taking the falling and the waterproof tell damn bro DAMN
So I can't figure out how to lay my PS5 on the stand horizontally? There's like no indents or anything on the bottom. And it sits flat. Did they upgrade the model or something with the most recent batches of PS5s? I just got one less than a month ago with the DVD tray. I don't want to throw away or lose the stand in case I ever want to put it vertical so I'd prefer putting it under the console but it makes it unsteady any way I've tried.
Shoot the playstation. Don't be a coward, truly test its limit. LOL.
