By far the easiest video to understand on this subject. By directing your viewers (and Mac users) to iMovie, you saved me a sleepless night or two. Thank you for making this simple and precise!
Omg this is literally the best video for me. I kept looking for the way as Mac user, but most of them were for Windows or using the website. It's so easy, simple, and detailed. You saved my life thank you so much!!!
Hello. Thanks for the helpful video! It's exactly what I was looking for, but I still can't drag the MP4 file from Canva to fit the length of the audio file. I have to do a LOT of copy pasting. Is that normal?
Yes simply import a black image slide into iMove as the video portion of the composition. So just add music and add a black slide and match the length of the slide to the music. thanks
Hi good video - I just can`t seem to get my imovie smaller so that I can see the canva pic to drag over - how do I do that? Can I also create it in Canva and save it to my computer and then get it in imovie?
I'm having problems adding the image. I did the thumbnail size in Canva - as recommended, but can't 'glue' them together in any way. I tried PNG and JPG and still doesn't work. Any ideas?
Hi! Thank you so much for putting up this video. I'm trying to turn an MP3/pic into a youtube compatible format using imovie on my macbook pro, but it's not working for me. It's not giving me the options regarding resolution and all that, and it automatically tries converting it into a quicktime mov. I then keep getting an error saying that quicktime won't open the file. Any ideas? It looks like you turned your mp3 into a mp4 (maybe?), but I'm not seeing that option. Thank you!
I am stuck. When I drag the music file into iMovie it isn't the full length of the song. Can't figure out how to change the length. Can do it with the image I import but not the song file.
I realise this video is 2 years old and therefore ancient but I'm just wondering why does Imovie take soooo long to export anything and then magnify the file size? Is there another open source program that can quickly convert audio to .mp4 / movie that will be acceptable to LinkedIn? Unfortunately LinkedIn is quite fussy and the open sources I've tried so far just don't work :-(
I have WAV files and I also need to record some new songs......thenI need to make a bunch of videos and edit them together I am playing as the band at once.... so it would be a video of me in each spot playing then edit them together so it looks like im playing the song.... I also would have closeups and have 6 to 8 videos to put together to make a video ..... HELP>.
