My 60-day-old beagle was not responsive to positive reinforcement when it came to basic training. I paused the training for a month and started again, but there was no progress. Finally, I took another week’s break and then resumed training using a stick. The results were amazing! Now, I don’t need a stick or positive reinforcement, as she has become very lovable, agreeable, and obedient. She is now over 8 months old and is very friendly with all my family members, but she remains a one-master dog.
My female beagle is not getting pee trained. She used to pee anywhere in the house. We tried no pee spray but it didn't even last for 2 days. She peed at a different place where she didn't get the spray's smell.
All three (3) of those are Important... 1) When they wake up, 2) After meals, 3) before going to 'bed' at nite!! THEN, reinforce "positive reinforcement" is SO Crucial!!
Love my beagle, but my lawd getting him potty trained was an ordeal. So stubborn. Literally took a few years to break the habit of refusing to go outside when it was raining. There was a period of time I'd try anything, even standing outside in the dang rain with em and he'd just... not go. Then I'd give up and the second we got inside he shook off the rain and peed on the floor. :|

Beagles are hard to potty train. Thanks for the tip!
They aren't just hard they are the most challenging breed to potty train I've ever raised. Even the females are territorial.
Thank you ❤️

Disney is just doing live action remakes just for the sake of doing live action remakes. That's all they do these days and it's getting old now.
