Pathfinder Training Guide 200 - 250

- For a class named Pathfinder, you sure turn around a lot.
Honestly, I'm left a little conflicted after getting this class to 250. One the one hand, it was easier than I imagined it would be, even giving BT a run for its money, but on the other, it was just, boring, sadly. The class revolved so heavily around Burst/Deluge that any creativity in training was lost for the simple fact that with frenzied spawn, it was an exp loss to use anything else.
It's a very powerful class, and one of the strongest Archers, however, if you plan to main it, be ready to turn off your skill animations the second you enter a boss arena, because you wont be able to see a gosh darned thing. I would recommend this highly, to anyone who wants to play a Archer, but isn't quite sure on where to start. It's easy to learn, its flashy as all hell, and its strong enough to carry you through, with minimal funding.

A general guide for what maps I used during my grind as a Pathfinder to 250, and what skill rotations I used for each of the maps. I hope you find this video helpful in someway.
For a general training guide for lvls 1 - 200 I highly recommend Whiyu's video on the topic, that goes very in depth on training as well as alternatives to just grinding :
• MapleStory: Pathfinder...

I am a phantom. I mostly just use cardinal for mobbing. Thx for that. It helps.
i actually love the fact that you move left and right to attack and play the game. while im here and got 5 characters to 250 by just standing in 1 spot on on every map and pressing attack lmao. love your content g keep it up
Thoughts in training Sellas at 240-250 for PF? Also what would you recommend to train from 250 onwards? Odium is coming out in the future so im planning to do some leveling.
I've been trying to reach 250 with my shade for 5 years and only got 235 so far ,I wish I had money and time to do so
Itsd all about time tbh, just invest 1 hr everyday and ull get there, what ive found about this game is that it doesnt require skill at all, only time invested, if you go slowly youll get there AND you wont get burned.
FlyingsushiX best pathfinder in NA reboot! Ask him if u got questions
Hey man, I know this has been a long time but I have a question.
Do you find yourself smashing macro too much and it fucks up your mobility with flash jump, creating a delay?
I'm having that issue.
There will always be a slight delay when using the Macro while flash jumping since you're using 2 attacks every jump compared to most classes 1 technically. It's just something you get used to the more that you play it, and you adapt your pace accordingly.
From when I was playing PF it was only really noticeable on AS2, when using a Green pot or a Rune of Swiftness to hit AS0, I never really felt any sizeable delay using the Deluge + Burst combo while flash jumping.
@@Sacrix Hey thanks a lot for the reply!
I'm starting a pathfinder main, may I ask for ur opinions on bossing? What skills do you use for bossing? Same macro?
Bossing is very strong, you'll be using the same macro as training, but the rest of the kit gets to shine more often, since mobility in later bosses is very required. The only downside to PFs bossing atm is, if you die, even with buff freezers, you lose all stacks of your dash. So be wary of that.
Can you do a funding vid for the series? How do you fund all your characters you train to 250 without burning a hole in your wallet man?
Really still don't get the relic gauge thing and will mess up the rapid arrow thing
Hey Sacrix, really like your video style recommending training spots based on a character's skills - I especially love your Battle Mage video because I felt that you gave your personal input on World Tree training spots instead of other players just generally recommending VJ maps.
Saw on your reddit post that you do not do dallies anymore. Did u transfer all your ASs straight away at level 200? From this video, I noticed that you only had 670 AF, and not 1320.
Among the classes you mentioned that you would like to do next, honestly I would really like to see you doing one of the two Crossbow classes - WH or Marksman. WH is really easy to train to 200, but may get monotonous upon 5th job. Marksman is difficult to get to 5th job, but gets insane mobbing after. I think the beauty of it is that you can transfer all equips to the other of the 2 once you are done getting one of them to 250.
Either way, looking forward to your next video regardless of which class you make!
I've got some good news for you, my next 250, is gonna be WH. :)
@@Sacrix Looking forward to "Wild Hunter training guide 200 - 250"!
What arw all the exp buffs are you using 55 mins for 10 levels is nuts
( CS 2x | Legion 2x | Mvp | Full stack pend of Spirit | 80-100% burning map | Monster park gold potion | Exp accumulation potion | Legion Exp Grid [40/40] | Lv 15 Hyper Exp | Lv 250 Zero legion card | Lv 3 Mercedes/Aran/Evan Link | Frenzied spawn | Character Building I Node | Events )
how do you dpm as a pathfinder for bosses? can do a vid?
What is his damage range with that gear he showed us?
Thanks!
Is late but he is hitting almost 300m lines and that's about 25k stat 5-7m range I'd say. Maybe less because how much extra crit damage he has from Legion
Did you compare MTS2 with the higher level mobs in Esfera?
MTS2 is the best because of its compact map structure. With buffed spawn, the larger maps are too big to fully clear, so you get a lesser effect out of the spawn increase. Where in MTS2 you're able to kill most of the mobs in the map, before they respawn, getting you, a better exp rate.
@@Sacrix Thanks so much for the reply! 240 PF here wondering where in esfera to train. Given that I 1H everything in esfera, I was curious about the higher level monsters. MTS2 it is. Thanks again
I wanna ask what dmg skin is tht
Pathfinder damage skin.
Herrscher ahh ic thanks man
ok so i main zero, but im bad so im only level 211 and when you said zero had ridiculous clears i was hyped
Question! How long did it take you to get to 250 with Path? Did you use exp coupons?
PF took me 22 days to get to 250. I train with max exp buff at all times if avail. ( CS 2x | Legion 2x | Mvp | Full stack pend of Spirit | 80-100% burning map | Monster park gold potion | Exp accumulation potion | Legion Exp Grid [40/40] | Lv 15 Hyper Exp | Lv 250 Zero legion card | Lv 3 Mercedes/Aran/Evan Link | Frenzied spawn )
Let that sink in he said 22 days. 240-250 I’m assuming you did eight to ten hour days huh
How long did it take to level from lvl 240-250?
Usually 80-120h
what is the best mobbing character for 5th job?
Of the ones I've played. Lumi is the most flexable.
btw.. any idea what's the range to one shot in CLP? i had 1.4 mil in lachlen and i hit around 90% of the mob health, such a bummer. i need around 1.6m range to one shot mob in lachlen.
Uh range wise, not 100% certain, its been quite a while since I played my PF, and unfortunately I didnt have my stat window open at the start of this guide like my others. But generally the 1.5x AF bonus and your Nodes play a pretty massive part in helping you one shot, as well as your level. Since the farther below a mobs level you are, you lose a % of your Final Damage against them, which is why I often stay in lach til the 230s, since i wouldn't be one shotting in Arcana yet, and my exp rates would be worse.
If you're struggling to one shot in lach still, dont worry about Arcana for a while, stick it out in lach til your a higher level, and more levels in you boost nodes and AF, then once you're able to clear the mobs in Arcana you should move over. 1 shotting in Lach will always get you better rates than 2-3 shotting in Arcana. The mob exp isn't that much higher in Arcana, that decreasing your mobs/h would net you a better overall exp gain.
@Sacrix do you put burst and deluge into a macro? or just use separately?
Yes, a macro. Burst before Deluge is faster. If you put deluge first, the animation is slower so you cast slower.
How do you have the special character in the name?
He’s in a guild lmao
Im looking for a cra mule do you have any thoughts ?
Can't really go wrong with PF. Straightforward to play, and really strong with minimal funding. Pretty much any of the newer classes are good choices.
read on another video (mihile probably) you play on 150-200 ping. How much does it affect pathfinder? I heard ppl saying it's cluncky on high ping and that the macro does not work too
PF is fine for the most part, the macro stuttered occasionally, but not enough to ruin the class. (150-250 ping avg)
@@Sacrix i see, i'll eventually level one for the crit links and some legion levels, but i'll be sad if it ends up being good to play XD i passed it as a main before
Are you doing a kanna anytime soon ?
How can i train money daily? Can you tell me?
How can a bowmaster grind at mts2?. Is it better for BM mts2 than CLP?. I think is to big fir bm
Haven't ever played bowmaster past 5th, so I couldn't tell you. Yet
I play a pathfinder in SEA server.. I'm just wondering how's your main attacking skill cardinal deluge(?) has so much wider attacking area as mine cant hit multiple rows like yours
As you level and get job advancements, youll unlock passives that increase its attack range and size.
@@Sacrix ah.. didnt think of that.. those passives are from v matrix?
@@immaliangsone its cardinal burst. Macro burst + deluge
Hi may I ask is it possible to open advancement from maskman to path finder
Not possible. Still not possible in KMS either, so I wouldn't get your hopes up of being able to change to PF for a looooooooooong time.
Sacrix that’s a bummer, playing marksmen now, don’t feel like playing something new tho bc I already spent quite an amount into it already :( but the training is super slow compared to other job, and also the rebuff when you died in bossing...
Do you stay at mts2 till 250?
do you just use cardinal burst or deluge + burst macro?
Deluge burst macro
thanks
btw ur character is really cute
Can I ask where do you train in Moras?
SDH2 and Blvd2 are pretty solid. Trueffet 2 is also nice.
Is armas followers better than below the cave tranquil erdas?
It's roughly the same exp, but it requires a lot more funding and fz spawn. So Tranquils is still, a-ok as a training spot.
Sacrix tranquil erdas are 80 arcane force but the below the cave is less. I can’t enter armas. Is it harder?
Whats the name of the main skill your using to attack? What level do I get it? Thanks
I mainly farm with Burst and Deluge macro'd together. You get them at 1st and 2nd job.
@@Sacrix Okay. And one last question. How do you teleport up? I see lots of players do it but I dont know how to
@@gtvenom11420 Hold your up arrow key and use Cardinal Torrent. It's one of the best mobility skills in the game. :)
@@Sacrix Thank you ^^
@@Sacrix Hey sorry to bother you. But can you tell me the macro please? Really appreciate it.
what were your lines for the hidden ability?
I was rolling 20% boss. I don't think there is any benefit to taking AS over it.
@@Sacrix thanks dude
Hi.! Pathfinder have any ??
You're giant purple full map attack has a small i-frame
9:14 what was that skill? I dont see it in my pf
it’s a skill you get from defeating will, any class can get it
Can you show your keyboard layout?
i.imgur.com/QSva3Tj.png V was Mihile link, S was Frenzy, and G was an event buff. Realistically, just use whats comfortable for you, everyones keybindings are different.
@@Sacrix Thank you so much, Just been wondering what skills you using other than where you put them
great video! how did you get the holy symbol nodestone?
I opened a ton of nodes, and used the unneeded ones to level it up specifically. Most other nodes only gain exp if i pull them from a nodestone / if they're vital to the class.
How would you compare this class with Kain? They feel so similar to me (though damage-wise maybe not so much).
Uh, Kain is not out in GMS. So I don't really have a point of reference. Haven't played it myself.
@@Sacrix Oh yeah I'm aware, but I was asking for more of a first impressions type of thing. But I understand if you want to withhold an opinion without actually testing the character out first. That being said, will you continue to get newly released characters to 250 after finishing your 10k legion grind?
How are these guides for Reboot? :3
Useable, but often not optimal. Small small maps aren't really good for reboots training meta, since you're using Fury Totem / Kishin spawn, and it's not as quick to respawn as Frenzy. So the more mid-sized maps are the places Reboot ideally wants to train in, and some classes with really good map control prefer the mid-large to large sized maps since they have the most mobs per spawn cycle.
@@Sacrix Appreciate the reply. Thank you my guy! :D
Do ds. Next 250?
What exp buffs do you use?
( CS 2x | Legion 2x | Mvp | Full stack pend of Spirit | 80-100% burning map | Monster park gold potion | Exp accumulation potion | Legion Exp Grid [40/40] | Lv 15 Hyper Exp | Lv 250 Zero legion card | Lv 3 Mercedes/Aran/Evan Link | Frenzied spawn )
So 245 PF here... any moonbridge recommendation to 250?
Never went to moonbridge, so I don't have any expected exp/h. VC3 is probably a fine map if you can't train in Esfera/CLP anymore.
Can I buy some archer gear off you for my pathfinder?
are you bera?
Yes I am in Bera
Looks too boring
Can I know what nodes do I need for a PF?
I show my V matrix, less than 3 minutes into the video. haha
@@Sacrix I get that Deluge/Burst/Torrent is the most important one but are the other nodes equally important or I could neglect them if I want to maybe go boss runs.
@@wtfisthissht If youre planning on bossing on PF, you should be getting all your boost nodes. They're all useful to have for bossing.
