This is what happens when sociopaths try to work together and also why empathy and morality are evolutionary advantages, nothing productive can be achieved if everyone constantly tries to scam each other.
With the case of Logan, his reputation won't take a hit since his fanbase are literal children. Even if those who invested are adults, they're just a small fraction of his total fanbase. Unless the same happened with ishowspeed, it might show a different outcome with this.
fun facts: Journalism is protected under the 1st Amendment (Freedom of Press), which has the supremacy clause all over constitutions in the US, Journalist is allowed to report any news they got their hand into even if they do not know if its true or not, there are a few limits like that they can not report a false story AFTER they know that it is false or "actual malice" (Time Inc v. Hill)
I mean... He wasn't given what he was promised, so he screwed over the entire project. It really is all Logan's fault, or whoever was in charge of paying the devs / cryptoking.
The reason someone can feel like a victim when profiting $5.8 million, is because they knew the scam was worth wayyyy more than that, and he got scammed by the other scammers. So at that amount he feels like a victim, that should tell anyone listening, it was always a scam. The game never mattered, it was the idea and the market, not the game to them. To them, the game actually working wasn’t even a concern, it was all the shady shit beforehand that gets them rich.
I really follow nothing they do, i hear some clips of Logan and some Fighting stuft From Jake thats it, and From This perspective it Felt like they got nicer With Time, But After a while they Expose themselves again
anyone that invests in logans scheme are sociopaths themselves. They are just sad, that they lost the money instead of other idiots and the greater fool theory came too soon to its conclusion
It's not that it makes them famous, it's that they have the opportunity and means and a bit of luck to become famous. What's really depressing is what he's done with his fame, and how he keeps taking advantage of his young audience with scam after scam.
Especially despite so many failings. Its almost like the notoriety from negative events ends up positive when people finally stop talking about the problem. It's easier to remember a name than details of events.
He likely backed out because his lawyer saw his response video and was just like “Wtf man, you just admitted to hiring criminals and con artists to run this business”
This reminds me of the whole "vaccines cause autism" lie/scam from the hbomberguy video. They tried to sue a journalist who was getting too close to the truth. But because of that, the journalist got access to all their documents (submitted into evidence) and was able to prove his claims.
I'd rather invest into Pokemon 😁 Its already huge and profitable... why invest into this crap no one actually wants. Logan will sell all his tokens before he ever sells that PSA 10 illustrator Pikachu or BGS 1st edition Charizard! Because those are actual assests!
Coffee is definitely not somebody you'd want on your bad side. How does one even find out all of this information? What an incredible video I have just watched
Something people these days don't understand or care enough to consider: It doesn't need to be illegal to be unethical or wrong. you can still be a complete asshole and be an "upright citizen", but this is the kind of mindset that creates slimy people with lesser moral codes that you never want to involve yourself with, using the crutches of "it's not illegal, so it's all good".
This is where evil Lawyers comes in who encourages them to do these kind of crimes. Lawyers create situations so they get paid to go to the court. It's always the Lawyers
When your a walking cancer to humanity, you gotta get your mindset right to keep validating your own existence. Whether it be "im the victim", "nothing i do is illegal" or "the people i hurt deserve to be hurt", you gotta figure something and not think about it too much
So, to sum up: CryptoKing and Eddie did a bog-standard pump&dump on Logan and Jeff, while convincing them that they were doing a pump&dump together, on everyone else.
@@FlaqkoGTA Egg sales. As Coffee said in the vid, we don’t know where that money went, but all the ETH victims used to buy eggs must’ve gone SOMEWHERE, and that’s likely Logan’s pocket.
So 5 guys decide to scam a bunch of random people/Logan fans. And it turns out at least 2 of them were trying to scam the other founders so it would collapse before the others could even scam the Logan fanbase. They all knew it was a scam from the beginning, they just were never sure who was going to scam who, and since they didn't trust each other, a few of them just threw in the towel early and some of the founders scammed the other founders before they would do it to them, because no one trusted each other enough to merely scam the fanbase.
Bro this is literally just like a gang of supervillains joining forces to achieve an objective and just like in the movies/shows they end up backstabbing each other because they end up not being able to work together because of their Greed, Pride, and overall Selfishness.
Hey.. that’s familiar.. That’s ROBLOX when People Make Games reported on their scummy practices, but instead of suing like this situation, they asked them to take the video down! You surely do know you succeeded as a journalist when the people you reported on try to get you to stop exposing them.
@@hollystiener16 wouldn't be the purpose. Logan has more money than Coffee, just flatly. All you need to do is SLAPP suit Coffee until he's bankrupt if you're Logan, and petty.
@@ryanfleshbourne3547 And all Coffee needs to do is set up one GofundMe and get easily enough moneys to take it to discovery, so he can force Logan to turn over all his emails and DM's related to the project, then make another video with those. Or just use Texas' strong anti-Slapp laws to stop him.
the VFX steam pouring off that coffee cup like it's a nuclear reactor is hilarious. it steams away constantly, permanently hot but never drunk, always the steam goes in the same direction no matter what angle you film from. Dutifully making the same cloud shapes over and over again and your frantic hand waving doesn't move it one bit. Totally realistic 5/7 perfect effect would stare again
I was just shocked that anyone trusted Logan. I can understand people going into this project because there was a chance they could snatch up some of the potential gains, but going into it because you trusted Logan Paul is just baffling.
The amount of subs coffezilla has got from these logan paul videos is epic. Well deserved, the video quality was honestly better than something you see on netflix, and the information provided was spot on. Well done. Hopefully, this puts another dent in logan Paul's credibility and stops him being able to do this again.
it would be amazing, but the truth is none of this will damage logan in any way, this guy tried to milk clout from a dead body and bounced back with even more subs, like wtf, this isn't even his first scam and yet he's more and more successful, too many suckers in the world and even if a million people jump out, two million will hop in, it's depressing
Someone out there doing what’s right. Congrats CoffeeZ!! Side note: I’ve never been a fan of these douchebags like the Paul bros or Dobre brothers, but I *very* unfortunately know of them from yt, and I’d sooner hand over my life savings to the Dobre bros than give one cent to Jake or Logan, a sentiment long before this disaster was birthed or exposed. I may be reading these creeps wrong but I may not be...
It reminds me of that classic 19th century insurance fraud, where HH Holmes along with his "buddy" planned to set up a fake house fire, where his "buddy" would fake a death and then they both would split the 10 000$ insurance check. You can probably guess how it went.
Why anybody “invests” in grown up children like Logan Paul, thinking their intentions are anything but selfish is beyond me. I work hard and live off my earnings. Never give my money away.
"Why anybody “invests” in grown up children like Logan Paul, thinking their intentions are anything but selfish" That is the question we would all love to know. Really! ;)
This is the question in the back of my mind the whole time…like, why Logan Paul of ALL people?! What has he done in his entire career to demonstrate he’s a trustworthy person who knows what he’s doing financially? The man is riding on the backs of literal children to make his money as a “content creator”, so how does this qualify him to make smart investments? He’s like a shark with a huge lamprey entourage constantly sucking out the blood money he made from children watching his content (no shade to sharks, I love sharks) How and why do these guys always get second and third chances to scam?!
Esp someone like Logan Paul, who has SCAMMED OTHERS BEFORE!!!! That's the part I do not understand. These people say they trusted him, but I wanna know exactly why???
100%, the people impacted most here have failed to do their due diligence prior to investing beyond what they could reasonably lose without impacting their lives. That they also roped in family (their kids?!?! FFS!) and other people based on little more than "Logan Paul said it would be good" is just baffling.
So in summary: Logan - The 'Founder' - clearly in over his head on the technical side of things and is basically there to spread the word and watch the money roll in. Will be back at this again in a few months. Jeff - The 'Manager' - failed to do due diligence when deciding who to work with which is one of the key parts of his job as Logan's manager and ultimately lost control of the situation to the point he is threatening the possibility of legal action if it is reported. Jake - The 'Expert' - who tried to play both sides from the beginning, manipulating the manipulators to make as much money as possible then go into full damage control mode. Eddie - The 'Orphan' - pathological & professional liar who likely saw this as an easy pay day. Crypto-Zoo - The 'Game' - Planned as a scam from day 1. Any comments about how 'fun' the game was going to be were lies from the beginning. The Investors - The 'Money' - Failed to remember than Logan has previously run failed projects before but still decided to trust his 'good' name. Just because he has a drink brand doesn't make him a digital market expert. Crypto Markets - The 'Future' - Once again proven to be the most wretched hive of scum and villainy. NFTs - The 'JPEG' - proven once again to be a worthless investment that is too open to abuse. Let it die already. Coffeezilla - The 'Journalist' - Delivers yet another knock out blow to crypto scammers mere weeks after publishing a video where SBF admits to fraud. No all heroes wear capes... but this one does wear suspenders.
The game - I agree with you: that's where I think even the investors who got scammed are still getting it wrong. Saying that if the devs had delivered, if anyone had delivered what was promised, they could have made money out of it. There was never anything TO deliver. There was a half-assed idea of circulating currency, some shitty stock imagery, and JPEGs of eggs that didn't do anything. No one cared about the game element, it was all just a tool in getting money out of people.
@@zero1188 He was 100% trying to scam people, he lied repeatedly about how fun the game (that didn't exist) was and continued selling what he knew was a failed project. He was just trying to run a long con, and he got played by people like Jake who ran a short con and fucked him over.
Nah, the losers at the end of the video are the one's who deserve the most scorn - absent greedy fools like them, these scams would never happen. No different than people who get shot blaming the gun shop. Or the druggie blaming his dealer. All 3 do exactly what they're designed to do - scam or kill.
Well, the investors aren't innocent here. All parties knew this was another typical crypto pump and dump, with a stupid shell of a "game" as its cover. A jpg generator? That's a really fun game? These are adult men who regularly invest in crypto, everyone knew what this was, it was to be a barely legal investment pryramid scheme marketed to a young audience that would be left holding the bag when it came crumbling down.
I came here to say exactly this so i guess I don't have to know! xd He's gone above and beyond with investing into production value, i'm glad he blew up like this deserves it.
@@showmestate admittedly, no, but is there not more nuance to that? Like how FTX was also a company, or whole exhange, whereas this is more like a single project? What do you think might happen as a result of this one?
Bravo Cofee. This series was phenomenal. From an investigative side, entertainment side, giving the victims a voice. Everything. Hats off to you and the team.
@@FlowerOfSloth i don't know. I liked the third part. There was so much going on and some last little surprises. I would have been a bit confused if he wrapped it up in two. Plus the last episode gave the victims time to speak their mind. Interesting from a content side and hopefully cathartic at least a little to the people that spoke.
Imagine making millions of dollars, saying it isn't enough, then refusing to pay developers a fraction of that money. If Mr. Krabs did the fusion dance with Scrooge McDuck, the resulting being would not possess even half that much greed.
Dude, I just watched Logan’s response to this and the lack of self-awareness and accountability is as staggering as the near-unanimous backlash in his own comments section. Absolutely stellar work, Coffee.
It’s hilarious that he thinks admitting that he hired criminals and con artists to run his business makes him innocent…his lawyer probably took one look at that video and rushed to him to take it down with how self incriminating it is
They might have been scammed but it was a pretty stupid investment in the first place. People just looking to get rich quick on crypto and they got screwed. Sucks to suck
Can't even imagine why they'd be "fans" of LP. Probably some dudes who's lives revolve around crypto and saw a way to make money crazy fast, and it didn't work, to no ones surprise
What sickens me the most about all this is all the talk about how much time they put into it. As if working 6 months to a year on a project and then feeling entitled to make millions. 6 months to a year is nothing in the financial world, so this whole "I spent x amount of time on this project therefore it's not a scam" thing is irritating AF.
Damn this Coffeezilla guy is on a whole other level - like the way he weaves the story into intricate parts of a breakdown of a scam and educates people is excellent... not to mention the research he has to do. Can we give him his respect?
What made me respect Coffezilla in this investigation is how much attention he pays to victims and gives them the final word. It's really easy to be like "haha, what a bunch of morons, they trusted the suicide forest guy with their money", but that doesn't excuse what cryptozoo team did.
@@austinschindle4706 I argue you need to blame both, I owed it to myself when I didn't invest properly. If the victims won't learn they will just hit financial wipeout again, scam or risky investment. Justice only comes after you've already been ran into the ground.
It's good of Coffezilla to not go down that route, I completely agree, and I like that you point that out. But... they trusted the suicide forest guy with all their money LUL
I agree, buuuttt, I found the ending quite cringe as if they haven't even learned their lesson fully. They seem so naive still. As if Logan or any of the other give a shit about their family 🤦♂
Logan’s response is hilarious. Admitted to hiring a full team of criminals. Seeing the 10 year olds in this comment section defend their favorite scammer is so funny. His response added nothing
The funniest thing about the blockchain, is that unless you use remixers, anyone with the time and a bit of brains (plus coffeeeeeee) can trace where the tokens are going, so Cryptoking is an utter moron. And he admitted it all. If the courts ever pick this up, the prosecution is going to have disgustingly huge grins over this excellent investigation Coffeezilla's done.
Well Logan set himself up to be scammed by CryptoKing. Lol at agreeing to the "stealth period" of going live. By that time everything is based on trust because if anyone sold at that time, its not illegal. Thats why cryptoking did what he did
Let's not forget that Logan and others scheming on how and when they sell just to manipulate the price. My guess they're going to rug pull everyone except them, look at Logan crypto's Dink Donk.

No. That's just on the investment side, he put in a quarter million and hasn't sold yet.. but on top of that there were millions in egg sales, and who controls that money? It's Logan's project. It's the investors who actually lost money, Logan didn't.
yep if Logan was the top investor, he would be charge! Being charge he would the say in which the money would be given to. But bc Jake Crypto King was the top 2 investors the company mercy of where it goes was in his hands, he conned the confident of this project by buying a lot of the crypto. Jake was caught probably Logan’s team beforehand. The most important value in this is not to give power to Cryptoking and his many wallets he made. Glad the game is frozen and none of Logan and Jeff haven’t sold their crypto tokens yet and to this day presently. Crypto-zoo is a frozen but soon a rectify project. The Top 5 investors vs. each other in court most likely Logan’ team vs Eddie ibanez vs. Jake Crypto King and his many wallets.
Just finished watching all 3 videos and I’m just blown away by how much effort was put into uncovering the true story behind this scam. Amazing work Stephen, keep it up!
I've always found it hilarious that people actually think Logan eventually redeemed himself after the whole Japan video backlash and it wasn't just him putting on a persona to save his image. People don't just suddenly change. He made a mistake, learned a lesson and decided to fake a personality to not make the same mistake again. He's always been a douche and I doubt that's gonna change.
Incredible production and investigative work. This was eye opening - hopefully this series can serve as the catalyst to holding these guys accountable in the eyes of the law 🙏
listening to a multimillionaire whine that he’s a victim when he made millions off the backs of people he helped scam is surreal. he made more from that scam than most ppl will see in their entire life. it’s repulsive and disgusting behaviour. what a broken world.
I don't know which is worse. Thinking Santa is real, or thinking Logan Paul is a decent and dependable character. 'I believe in Logan Paul' is both the saddest and the funniest thing I heard all week.

Not the kind of advice you want to get from a dude named crypto king.
It's worse than that. The dilemma was more like: do something illegal and make some quick money now, or do everything right and make massive amounts of money in good time. They killed their own project just so they could get the scraps.

The ratio of scammers in this space compared to the number actually held to account is so astoundingly depressing. At this point I'm convinced that when real justice finds these scumbags, it absolutely won't be through any legitimate, legal channels.
1st red flag: project made by Logan 2nd red flag: game made with NFT 3rd red flag: vague statement about the game 4th red flag: a consultant called NFT king... It was a whole damn carnival of red flag
“Our developer’s kids can’t stop playing the game” is CLINICALLY INSANE considering there is LITERALLY NO GAME. Turns out Logan is actually the sociopath. That’s wild.
Thats not clinically insane. thats just lying..to make money.. advertise.. fake promises. etc He didnt invent the wheel.. people do it all the time. nothing to do with insanity just basic lying.. money grab..
The one thing missing from this video was more of those kinds of comments. Its easy to look at someone investing in a Logan Paul NFT and think “what an idiot”. But when its marketed so aggressively you can start to believe. An exaggeration is one thing but he was just lying nonstop.
I have no idea how I only discovered your channel like a week ago, but I must say that you're doing an incredible job. I really hope that you're proud of the channel.
This is better then a movie, great story telling and science fiction production. This story really speaks to the times as well as influencer / social media culture.
Incredible journalism. Covering every corner without downplaying or leaving a crumb out. While at the same time making it percise and consistent in the greater story.
im more amazed that these morons actually could go to their family and tell them to put money into this.. and then they also have the gut to not take responsability over this but instead of course say "he scammed us!" when it was obvious from the get go.. just a little bit of research into Logan Paul would reveal that.
Yea I do think the victims of this com were being a bit disingenuous... I doubt any of them were thinking this was a lagitimate investment, they are likely degenerate "investors" And If you've seen the shilling that communities do, it's clear to me that they themselves would scam to each other if they had the oportunity
Its all about the promise of being early. the next big thing.. the thing that blows up and if you are early you get make a lot of money. Who of us, didnt think.. Oh I wish i bought like a bitcoin the first year.. when it was like a dollar. Thats the whole premise. It makes sense in a way.

"They had quite the dilemma.
Do something illegal or make less money"
Quite the dilemma indeed
Not as an uncommon issue in the business world as one might think. This is where risk assessment comes into paly accountability vs deniability skirting on the edge of legality has been refined into an art form by some corporate lawyers. Not the kind of advice you want to get from a dude named crypto king.
It's worse than that. The dilemma was more like: do something illegal and make some quick money now, or do everything right and make massive amounts of money in good time. They killed their own project just so they could get the scraps.
@@IvBeM nah Logan's no fool there was never an intent to make any thing real that would require effort + risk it seems like they just really don't want go to jail that's all.
My drug dealer has better ethics than these scammers
@@IvBeM Looks like Logan actually wanted things to work out so he could cash out late while you have Eddie and the Crypto King who just couldn't wait and wanted money right away (and the later not even respecting the agreement about their cut).
I hope this video goes viral as possible
1 million views in 7 hours is pretty viral
Oh it's going insane...
When I clicked the video it was at 800k now it's at 1.1m
I hope all of those investor got to learn it the hard way. We all know all of these crypto thing is ponzy. Early investor get money from you.
This coffe dude fan base are bunch of losers who are broke and don’t understand how the world works honestly. If you are really worried then do something about this instead…
You sir, are one of the best investigative journalists currently working. Amazing reporting.
Coffeezilla is the only one speaking truth, and calling out BS. In a time of crypto madness Stephen has definitely kept me grounded .
also Patrick Boyle and Scott Shafer - only 3 guys i follow on youtube they speak some facts and i love it
Tate has been called out this scum bag
He’s the only big guy
Fr fr
Stephen *scammed* my Grandma!!
The ratio of scammers in this space compared to the number actually held to account is so astoundingly depressing. At this point I'm convinced that when real justice finds these scumbags, it absolutely won't be through any legitimate, legal channels.
They will eventually scam the wrong person and end up Epsteined.
And people wondered why Mafia, Yakuza, and Epstein-style Hitman business still exists.
And what would that help the people who got scammed?
@@fabiankehrer3645 schadenfreude at the very least.
You were really surprised that there are more scammers than real projects in an unregulated market?
This is like the ending of "the good, the bad and the ugly" scammers scamming each other before they're able to scam everyone else 😂😂
perfect
felt like its own movie too in a good way
Shame there was no "good" character.
Just a lot of bad, ugly, and dumbfuck.
The ol’ Mexican standoff 😂
I still don't understand who's got the most out of it. I lost track of it in egg sell math.
So the guy with $6 mill is the winner?!
yeah lol talk about no honour among thieves
1st red flag: project made by Logan
2nd red flag: game made with NFT
3rd red flag: vague statement about the game
4th red flag: a consultant called NFT king...
It was a whole damn carnival of red flag
The best part of them trying to sue is that they'd have to come clean and release EVERYTHING. We all know how that will play out. Logan won't do shit.
“Our developer’s kids can’t stop playing the game” is CLINICALLY INSANE considering there is LITERALLY NO GAME. Turns out Logan is actually the sociopath. That’s wild.
Thats not clinically insane. thats just lying..to make money.. advertise.. fake promises. etc
He didnt invent the wheel.. people do it all the time. nothing to do with insanity
just basic lying.. money grab..
Makes you reconsider that everything out of his or someone else his mouth could be a lie
"Turns out Logan is actually the sociopath." How did you NOT know that he is a POS??!
the dude was literally laughing at a dead person who suicided in japan, that happened years ago and people are only now realising he is a sociopath?
The one thing missing from this video was more of those kinds of comments. Its easy to look at someone investing in a Logan Paul NFT and think “what an idiot”. But when its marketed so aggressively you can start to believe. An exaggeration is one thing but he was just lying nonstop.
As henious as this whole scam was, this series was an absolute banger. Investigative journalism isn't dead, it just moved out of the mainstream media.
Doing more work than mainstream media 😂
Another good one is Johnny Harris
Beautifully put 👏
The fact that these bros looked at Paul and said to themselves “yup! That’s a face I can trust” makes my head hurt. 😂
I have no idea how I only discovered your channel like a week ago, but I must say that you're doing an incredible job. I really hope that you're proud of the channel.

This is better then a movie, great story telling and science fiction production. This story really speaks to the times as well as influencer / social media culture.

I'm honestly amazed people see these "projects" and expect not to be defrauded...
I don’t get how/why crypto meaningless out of thin air are called “projects”, I don’t understand?
im more amazed that these morons actually could go to their family and tell them to put money into this.. and then they also have the gut to not take responsability over this but instead of course say "he scammed us!" when it was obvious from the get go.. just a little bit of research into Logan Paul would reveal that.
Yea I do think the victims of this com were being a bit disingenuous... I doubt any of them were thinking this was a lagitimate investment, they are likely degenerate "investors"
And If you've seen the shilling that communities do, it's clear to me that they themselves would scam to each other if they had the oportunity
Humans have weird psychological weaknesses around rarity and fomo. But the nature of 'confidence men' is that you can always find someone to be manipulated out of their possessions by someone with charisma. The internet is just a matchmaking service between conmen and victims.
So nice that the blockchain tracks every transaction
Well, it doesn't matter. These scams still happen all the time and no one is arrested lol
Credit card scammers Buy bitcoin to scam shit don't matter shit is a gamble tbh
I agree. Same thing with all this FTX jazz: one silver lining is that you _can_ actually follow the money and get answers.
well it clearly didnt since we couldnt tell who was behind the coinbase wallet. Funny isnt it

is it really a scam though? Everyone knows the only reason to invest in these meme coins is buy low & sell high. It's a strategy game based on timing. Nobody honestly thinks they're going to invest in this junk as some long term financial strategy like holding on the Apple stock or something do they? Nobody thinks the token itself has value, it's always meant to be traded back to dollars.

„My daughter wanted to play this“
It just makes me so angry. The entire thing was build to steal money from literal children. Just go punch a kid and steal their lunch money, like a MAN, Logan. =/

It's really not.
It really isn't. Just because Logan doesn't deserve their money doesn't mean these absolute clowns deserve to keep it. They pulled the financial equivalent of walking into oncoming traffic and then crying they got hit by a car.
