Can't find Old Forester in St. Louis. But it is here somewhere. But I did find Age 4 years Templeton Rye Wiskey on sale for $46.00 and cut down to $30.00. $33.00 with tax..... Right now all the restourants are buying up all the Old Forester at the warehouse...
@@jamesnm21 i have seen the rittenhouse one before ill have to try them both. Im still getting into ryes havent had very many but for the few i have had i enjoy them!!
It's okay... a bit overpriced in my opinion. Why pay $30 for that when you can get CR Northern Harvest for the same? Of course, the competition to get CR rye is tough!
Yea i can agree the first drink was really good but found that over the time i had the drink i noticed a subtle difference. Id say closer to $20 or $25 would be best put.
I enjoyed it, scoring it an "A" (most excellent).
A solid drink for sure!!
Nice review! One of my favorite ryes.
I enjoyed it for sure! Little different after a few drinks!
It's my favorite rye also
Just picked up a bottle. Planning on fat washing it with some bacon grease and making a killer old fashioned. I really hope it works out
That sounds amazing!!!!

We have some old forester here local but i havent tried many of them my self i may have to try and get some!!
Call a store in Illinois. It's everywhere in like 8 different versions. The 100 proof is like $22 or $23 a bottle.
And if you like rye Old Overholt ($20) is good and Rittenhouse ($27) is good.

@@JustinsTavern there's also wild turkey 101 rye for about $30 where I'm at. My neighbor likes that as well.
My neighbor drinks whiskey and said this tastes like shoe polish. I tried it and agree.
