I'm glad you checked it out. I knew you would vibe to this one. That choir gets me every time. And his live version of this shows that he can really sing too. In his whole album he is speaking the truth of things hes gone through and things hes dealt with so I do know him and his mom have a real strained relationship because she's an addict. His dad was that way growing up but him and his dad have a better relationship now. His dad actually did a little bit of backup on this song. A lot of the slower songs on his album (and it's a lot of them)hes pretty much talking about the hurt hes gone through and I think his album is really good. But I commented on your last video that you definitely need to react to this and I'm so glad you did because I know did because I knew you would like this.
Nah, he has a great relationship w his dad. He's even singing in the choir on the track, and you can hear him on the last chprus. His mum has addiction issues, sadly sounds like it's been abusive
I would love to know his mother's story he probably doesn't even know it which is sad.
@@steviebrewton9573 who do you mean by ‘him’?
@@sasham6960 I wonder who....sure it can't be obvious. Also they never even said, "him."
@@steviebrewton9573 He lived with his mom until he was 10- don't assume you know the whole story. Addiction is found everywhere...
@@twebster179 never said I new the whole story at all I'm just hoping that he and his mom are able to mind things.

The first verse was him talking about how since he made it they wanted something from him but when he had nothing they didn’t fw him second verse is how his his family didn’t support his dream and third verse is about his mom (who is a drug addict) tried to use him and didn’t mess with him either so basically they are dead to him all true the mom situation was a big thing a few months ago
I hope we get to know his mother's story I'm not even sure he knows her story, very sad situation.
@@steviebrewton9573 Lil nas x does know his mother's story. He lived with her until his father was able to get custody of him and his younger brother when nas x was 10. He also paid for her to go to rehab when old town road got big and she left and went back to the streets. He said they're OK now but she's still dealing with addiction issues.
This commentary on his mom is a continuation of “carry on” your opening track from Nasarati. Mom is with a man who feeds her addictions. She only gets in touch when she wants something. Other than that their relationship is not good.
His dad was encouraging him to stay in school because music is 1 in a million. He couldn’t get any features to blow up. Dad was there for him just was trying to tell him to be practical.
Song hard asf ong
Love this song! I can listen to it over and over. BBC1 Radio has his performance which is superb.
yea the stuff with his mom goes way deep. You be suprised how a lot of artist have been through stuff like this, even the older ones like Mariah carey
What a great reaction to this masterpiece. You really felt this song. Thanks a lot.
People either love it or not but I've been vibong to tales of Dominica on his album too
A lot of his slower tracks are pulling me in... I definitely agree about about Tales of Dominica, One of Me, Am I dreaming, Void, etc. I'm loving the entire album but you really hear and feel his emotions in the slower grooves.
One of the best songs, the lyrics hit deep. I also love void! Actually, I like every song. But the slower more emotional ones are my favorites
@@sasham6960 absolutely!
😩🙌🏽🔥Subscribed after this reaction
Please find a way to get on a late night radio show or start doing voice over acting (commercials would be perfect for you) because you have a great voice. I know random but as a social media manager you for sure have a lot of opps to have success with your voice and it’s tone alone.
I like YOU actually LISTENED and COMPREHENDED what the record was about 👍🏿 Sounds like YOU could do some backup vocals too !
Bro. On his early song, you play a lot, "Carry on" he talks about mom leaving him and not calling. "Cant believe you let that nigga take you from your home, you not the person that I've known"
This fire asf🔥
Am crying while watching 😭 so emotional
keep going king. subed and hope you go big!
I'm so glad you reacted and reviewed this one. I would encourage you to listen to the album as a whole. It fits really well together as a piece. The danger is you listen to individual songs which almost all stand alone as fire. However, as an ensemble, they are fantastic and the album itself is a wonderful emotional journey.
Had to subscribe, your reactions go stupid and I love the vibe 💖
His voice is so relaxing haha
Ahit was cold G
Ran that thing back for them Ads 😅😅
Hopefully you still react to his album. I would love to see what you have to say about it...
All his songs are really great. Multiple genres of which anyone can listen.
You was vibing like shit lol
Sing sir
