had a few on milky toffee with squid goo when this was the rage, was never a game changer, like any bait, you can only catch on whats out there, haven't used it in years, suspect the washed out pink is more attractive than the goo

Your bait maker spends a long time testing and refining ingredients to the right percentages for maximum catch rate as they know the more carp you catch, the more locked into that bait you are... then you cover it in goo? Nah, designed to catch anglers, not fish.

The almond goo is a goto for me. Especially with a white 10/12mm pop up. Works really well when fishing without freebies aswel. I fish a tricky silty lake not a runs water
