Honestly, this song made me realize how sad Brendon's life has been: imagine being happy with your little band finally being able to have fun and becoming best friends with one of the sweetest boys in existance, but bcs of creativity differences, you're forced to break contact with that person and your bland split. After years of trying to hold it together, the only person who supported you when you were lonely also leaves bc he's having a drinking problem, so you either abandon the band too or you try to do everything on your own at the risk of everyone hating you for that.
