🎶 Music I Love 🥰
/ dans-audio-reviews-enj...
the bass coming out of the Maestro is just fking glorious, that rumble !!!!
mest is the most balanced between these imo. Maestro is great but level of bass is a bit too much for me...and I love lots of bass
Man that Maestro sounds absolutely amazing and even through UA-cam compression wow.
every time you show the mest i instantly just think "wow i was seriously missing so much", unfortunate that it costs as much as an entire desktop PC
Didn’t the Hexa sound pretty good at first?
And then not?
Yes, it was great at first and then mest and maestro came 😂
I was never impressed by Hexa to begin with:) Its great for its price with its good tuning but its hard for me to get excited when having the Monarchs 2. Im impressed by the Fatfreq tho. These could be my next! The vocals seem overly smoothed out on the demo but maybe in real life it sounds even better.
Great video AS ALWAYS..
It did, until you decided to slaughter it.😂
This one is really the perfect example of the last vid's brain burn effect
Man that maestro sounds so goooood
Itching to hear a comparison of the MEST mki and MEST mkii 😅
my preference would be Maestro> Mest> Hexa > Dioko...
the Dioko sounds too light weight and almost artificially airy..
Hexa sounds more natural..
The Maestro has this meaty low end that sounds so satisfying!
When it sounds meaty in the sound demo, in real life it could destroy your head aslo costing 2500-2800 bucks 😅. Hexa even more lightweight than dioko but dioko more transparent, detailed and clean better insight into the music 💁.
@@matusjurcik6974 You're not Making any sense dude...
When did I say I'd be getting the Fatfreq?!
Lol..
I'd be sitting on the street in a tent if i would spend that much 😂😂
All i said is i love how it sounds...
Meaty and thick , yet detailed and 3D..
Usually it's always a compromise...
Either meaty or detailed..
Hate that.
Coming to the Hexa VS Dioko..
I couldn't disagree more!
Does the Dioko give more details?
Hell yea..
But would i spend 100$ on an iem that i can't listen to for more than 30 mins?
Hell no! Especially if i have just 100$ to spend!
I'd want a decently detailed iem with great timbre and tuning that can please me for hours..
Dioko is definitely not that!
It sounds metallic . As if everything is reverberating. Not even remotely organic. As if every singer is singing with a breathy voice!
Even maybe Leonard Cohen lol!
Detailed? Yes..
Tuning and timbre?
Hexa drives circles around the Dioko.
In terms of tuning and timbre , Hexa , Titan S and the Olina SE are the best at their range.
Hexa is probably my third favourite amongst those 3.
@@rajeebdas1724 he is making sense just fine kid!
@@rajeebdas1724 easy man calm down :) don't abandon yourself.
Yeah Dioko sounds awful there. This is all that moondrop crin tuning. Cut the crap out of the mid bass elevate the upper mids and call it detailed. Mest crushed it hexa and maestro made Dioko sound like hold music from customer service
Listened to this demo on my Hexa. It’s like audio Inception!
Me too 😂
Thinking about selling up my entire collection and just getting the Maestro. They just sound so warm and delicious.
It has that effect.
@Darkest Mind A Xenns brand review will be coming after I finish a couple other videos first.
i like the fact you proved whatever the subjective perception through whatever Speakers these demos are heard the pattern difference can help choose from online reviews, if not totally finalize. *thumps up*
The Mest gave the truest, least coloured and most enjoyable sound overall in comparison IMO
well, the Maestro completely messes up the other frequencies (imo), and the MEST is in another class than the other 2 here, so you are indeed right that it's the overall the best sound here.
@@Viewer13128 Personal preference
MAESTRO 😍😯😱
To add one more brick to the wall, for me the Maestro rules.
EQ the Dioko, boosting 250hz and 500hz while cutting 4khz and 8khz… See how close you can approximate the Maestro and Mest tuning
Fatfreq top 3 best iem for bass and close by vocal intense performance
Maestro 😍
Ну тут игра в одни ворота)) FatFreq неподражаем!
I own and like the Maestro Mini but the Symphonium Meteor has more bass overall (and more balanced too) and more pleasing mids and treble. They're incredible, you must hear them Dan. btw it would be good to differentiate if you have the Maestro MIni ($425) - which I assume is what you have or the Maestro SE ($1600+). They also look very similar..
bro, that DIOKO though .. uuuf .. lovely ..
Mest is very nice in details.
We need a review for Fatfreq Maestro, please .
maestro cost like $1600, its off the grid , too pricey vs hexa
Here comes the big bois
Mest, Maestro, Dioko, HEXA, for me. I am really not a bass head. Listening through my S12 modded by Micheal Bruce to Eru specs.
Damn maestro
The MEST always sounds best to me in these comparisons.
why did i even google unique melody mest as if it was something i could afford :-(
Dan, I feel like the Monarch MKII should be in this, Monarch and Maestro would be really close I guess
Mest. Not because I like. Because it sounds real compared to the mastering I do when I produce music. All the others the drum kick is to thin. The maestro sound great in voice or mids. But the bass kick is a bit thin. The mest has deep timbre all around .
Thanks for sharing!
ooo link to song?😊 I originally used the dcmeka A09s & I'm wondering how they compare to these IEMs it only cost under $30 Dual Dynamic Drivers 10MM&6MM because I didn't know if for the price the Hexa would either be better or worse
Would be nice if you can demo the maestro mini
can we agree that Fatfreq last year did something crazy with the maestro mini (a.k.a bass canon)
p.s:do a sound demo with the Dunu Talos
Just looked up the price of the Melody Mest, yup that's why you pay the big bucks!
holy moly the maesstro is thicc
I boosted the Hexas just a tiny bit and they sound wondeful. Not so tiny as you show it here.
Even though I haven't tried the MEST MK2 physically, the Maestro SE sounds like it has that slight emphasis on the bass which would make it edge ahead of the MEST for me. Both sound beautiful. On the other hand, the Maestro seems like it is very large and would probably be too large for me
The expensive ones are not necessarily better or more accurate they are just different , The most notable difference is in the bass , Not all people like too much bass but some do.
I prefered the MEST I really liked it
Any plans on reviewing the AKG N5005?
Fatfreq Maestro just luscious 😘😘
I didnt heard about maesro, it just beat mest🤯
Mest still reigns supreme.
Sounds like I might be buying a maestro
Holy crap 2500 nevermind
Lol 😂
mest mkii soundstage
Maestro is interesting
Wow, love the overall sound of mest ii, maestro sound a bit lower for the vocal... Idk maybe there is something to do with my waner and UA-cam compression.
Are the Maestro units custom or universal?
Maestro's bass is messy up the balance too much. But I think it's good cause consumer bass heavy IEMs finally get a hifi version.
Mest still the best
Mest vs maestro. What an excellent video. I wanted the maestro until now. Losing that treble energy and bass texture/timbre (at least in the video) when going to the maestro was a no no for me.
the dioko sound slike you can eq that to any liking lol
Wow 1 mest = 10 hexa
and it costs more than 20 Hexas!
Mest ❤️ just this.... Fatfreq has too much bass for me, I just don't like too much bass messing with the entire tonality.
Maestro and Mest almost sounds the same, and the best sounding among the choices.
But after looking at the prices of both Maestro and Mest....
I feel poor. haha
i mean considering the price... its actually pretty surprising how far that 80$ iem got...
The Mest all the way everyday, everything else sounds shallow compared to them. There is a depth and layers to the sound of the Mest that the others don’t match. The maestro has nice bass but the mids seem a little vailed.
I had to return the fatfreq maestro because the fit was insanely painful:(
Aw man!
@@dansaudioreviews yeah made my Mest mk 2 feel like the most comfortable thing on earth lol I was sad because the bass boost was fun but wasn’t worth the hurt 😢
I am thinking thesame by just looking at the fit on that rig, it sounds thick for bass which kinda enjoyable but have tested the T3+ fit and it hurts more than I enjoyed the music. The mest might fit better though.
Is this the mark II mest? Its the same model as the one you demo'ed. The mark I was blue and black.
The one in this video is MKII.
@@dansaudioreviews ok thank you
Question, why give the Hexa soooo much time in the beginning, and switch to a different IEM when the song mixes it up, cycle through anything except the Hexa, and then add the Hexa back in when the song dies down and is basically not even relevant??
Even when the music dies down, the difference and impact of switching between gear to our brain is evident.
Plus, it is only 60 seconds. Not a lot of time to do more 😅
Love the comparison here Dan. Been eying the Mest for a minute and was about to pull the trigger after your get to know the Mest vid. But bruh that Maestro set me back to square one 😅. Now debating if I should just keep saving and get the Maestro. I mostly listen to Classic Rock, pop, and rap
When i went on the website when considering tye Maestros, i saw more than to two digits in the digits. Y'all lunatics.
i really dislike the mest, don't know how to pin point it exactly but i found the hexa more enjoyable, probably sounds better in person
i'm curious why the cra gets trashed but the maestro is praised when i look at multiple fr's comparing them. the drivers can't make THAT much of a difference
Wait, when I look at the graphs right now, the CRA looks to have a much lower bass. And then the CRA also has treble that seems to be higher in various areas. Quite a different looking tuning.
@@dansaudioreviews yea there's quite a bit less sub bass but the CRA isn't exactly lacking in it either. one of the most common "negatives" that people often mention about it is that it has too much bass, so it wouldn't make sense to praise a set with more of it and then say the CRA has too much, you know? and while the treble regions are different they're both fairly energetic. Maestro has more lower treble which is the most sensitive region whereas the CRA has slightly more upper treble and tends to be less offensive when boosted. for reference i used nymz, vortex, and precog's measurements to compare
i haven't heard the Maestro in-person though so it's actually possible that the drivers are just magical for bass 🤷♂
edit: im dumb and cant multitask, changed mid treble to upper treble
@@shinku2826 I have the Cra and am about to sell it.... can't enjoy it one bit .
While the bass is great for its price, i can't enjoy the bass as the treble is too damn sharp with a metallic twang to it..
Very unnatural sounding.
Wich cra ?
@@sleepe8050 the original CCA CRA released in 2021. mine is from the first month of release
I need to stop hearing the MEST. It's on another level.
I have the dioko, and for now they sound perfect, but they don't compare to the kz zsn
bro kz has like 2 decent hadphones
and 1000 models wan er is good headphone and good for tuning, 7hz salnotes better for gaming bc soundstage, truthear hola good too. cca cra and moondrop quarks best really cheap
People were selling Dioko's as "they are very resolutive but not for everybody"
They are not resolutive, just stupidly hissing
if you came up to that conclusion because of this vid. lol its how you would expect when comparing a $100 to a ~$1800 iem
the hexa seem you could listen it for longer period even though the other two sound more fuller... dioko is out of it league
can hear the cheapness melting off them lol
I liked the hexa before
MEST and Fatferq sound exactly the same in my iems so ill pick the mest just because it's cheaper while sounding the same as the fatfreq
dioko sounded the worst in this one for me
If you hear the Maestro on a playback system with big bass impact, the differences become much more audible.
In my car, the bass on the maestro is much much more noticeable than it is on the MEST.
@@dansaudioreviews thanks for the clarification
I guess the extra 700$ isn't just wasted on the maestro
Listening to them in person will definitely make it way clearer which is the superior.
me watching with my 30 Rs. earphone.
🧠 🤩 🙁
I feel a huge scoop at the MEST MK ll upper mids. Hexa is just boring. Maestro is pretty good.
That DIOKO is a huge failure. Surprisingly Maestro Mini sound much better (and I have them 😊).
Hexa sounds terrible here. Nothing like the one I'm listening to now.
Maestro is so much better than everything else. But then it costs much much higher. So basically you get what you pay for.
Ugh Hexa's muddy bad. Dioko is fatiguing highs.
the highs are refine and bass is too deep in Maestro
Dioko fans crying? aww
This is borderline abusive to the poor Hexa
Don like Hexa, Hi hats more forward than vocals
The Monarch is superior to the Mest 2 and is still absent in this video. Dont get it honeslty.
It’s a small bite. Can’t put too much in sometimes.
Dude the Hexa doesn't compare with any of these like cmon lmao
Hexa is so baaaddd lmao
