True widescreen would require reprogramming the game code to show "more" (of the left and right portions) of the screen. You had me excited for a moment! :P

Then i really dont know how but i stumbled across this video and placed downloaded the plugin and now it works flawlessly!!!!!!! Im so happy thanks again you rock :D

+ocesse Thank you for the kinds words, as you can see I am not that active anymore, not because I lost interest in emulators or videogames in general, but because I got a full-time job that left me to little to no time to spend in my hobbies, but from time to time I test some things here and there making small changes or tweaks to some emus or games and I also keep stalking regularly those forums and share if I made or found something interesting...
actually, iv'e notice that the game is shifted toward the bottom of the screen.. there is a black bar on top of the game and i cant see the bottom of it... do you have a solution? thanks!
You don't need to have additional libraries or compile the ePSXe.exe, only the pete plugin and since I don't own an Android device I cant test if it would work on it (technically it should, but still...). One thing, the Android version uses a plugin system?
The emulator crashes as soon as I load the game. Didn't change any settings. Just switched out my working plugin for the one here. I'm using pcsxr is that a problem? epsxe just crashes for me.

Thank you for this, I was having some issues getting a nice balance of quality/screen estate. This solves everything. :)
If you are familiar with compilers I can PM you the changes I made to the source code that way you can compile it yourself
thank you very much. works very well.

I can do that too, are you referring to actually draw more where? vertically or horizontally. I did both when testing but It looks awful.

Sorry I don't know how to compile the plugin for android
Time to learn? :P
Yup, "libopenglplugin.so" not sure if thats pete plugin, but it let me search for other plugins.
Sure, I'll still need to know how to compile epsxe for android, but still
hey, can you make this work for the epsxe version for android? thanks!
