Taking part in this video three years ago was the first time James’ father had heard the heart wrenching song his anguished son had written to him. His father was suffering stage 4 kidney failure, needed a transplant and due to a rare condition it was becoming obvious that a donor wasn’t going to be found so the family knew his final days were near. Amazingly a donor came forward who had seen the video and was a match. Charles Blount is doing well. The video was done in one take, James didn’t want any auto tune or editing. It’s just pure, raw emotion. I don’t know how he managed to sing the song. It’s a masterpiece.

Explore and enjoy this song. My Parents are both in their 80's. Can be gone tomorrow. I'm in my 50's , there comes this time, when you realize you are mortal. One of the greatest songs, i've ever heard. Honestly!
