It was the same with megitsune, when a song has a lot of Japanese culture in it, it is difficult to explain. Read only if you are interested, as the content may be a little removed from the song itself.
METALI is a word that adds METAL and 祭り(Matsuri=festival). And this song is a representation of a Japanese 夏祭り(Natsu Matsuri=summer festival). For us Japanese, these sound and lyrics make our Matsuri blood boil. Matsuri is the heart of the Japanese people. It is said that there are a total of 300,000 festivals in Japan, both large and small. Matsuri means a ritual for worshiping Gods or Buddha, or an event held in gratitude towards nature. 神輿(Mikoshi=portable shrine) is a carriage for Gods. In the festival, Japanese people get around the Mikoshi and carry it on their shoulders in order to worship Gods. While carrying the Mikoshi, the carriers will yell "Wasshoi, Wasshoi" or "Soiya, Soiya" or "Sore, Sore".(However, the calls vary considerably from region to region.)
神輿(Mikoshi=portable shrine) and お囃子(Ohayashi=festival music) of Matsuri have a history of more than 1,000 years and are etched in the DNA of the Japanese people.
"Pii hyara" in the lyrics is the sound of a 篠笛(Shino bue=transverse flute) used at Matsuri.
"Dokkoisho" is the voice used when lifting heavy objects, but it is also used in shouting.
MOMOMETAL speaks in the middle, that is 歌舞伎(kabuki) speaking.
MOMOMETAL's odd pose is the Kabuki climactic pose.
The lyrics "Odorin chai" and "Utain chai" are in the dialect of SU-METAL's birthplace, Hiroshima. In standard language, the words are "Odori nasai" and "Utai nasai", meaning "you should dance" and "you should sing".

I am completely fascinated by this music video.
This is the first tune post 2017 that really gets me amped about Babymetal again! Now I have to scramble for a ticket!
Yeah this is classic Babymetal with all the fun brought back again. I think too serious stuff just does not fit them. In the live show I saw this year they could not really work the crowd with the dark songs of the last album. For me best part of BM have always been the music videos. The band is first and foremost visual, so properly made videos make the whole BM experience.
At the live, there seems to be an intro by Kami Band before this.
I'm just looking forward to the concert.

That thing that Su did with her vocals (is it yodeling?) in Shanti and Metalizm, is getting workout in this song.... I love the Japanese Kabuki theater feel of the song, with Momoko doing that narration bit in the middle....I'm all smiles.... Especially after that very confusing collab of Lil Uzi Vert.... There was a debate among fans whether if MomoMetal was the one doing that obachan spoken part, i guess at least she's part of that section dancing and she did a great job with that, she's not speaking but if she did totally sounds like a different person, it reminds me tomato-kun when changing completely her voice lol 🍅❤

I don't see why you are comparing this to the Uzi Vert collab. That was an Uzi Vert song featuring Babymetal. This is a Babymetal song. Completely different.
Like I explained in the Video I see the benefits and the reasoning behind this Collab and how it can be used, Even the BMTH collab makes sense the Uzi one whilst fun will fade to the back of ppl's minds pretty quick for both his and BM fans, it was very much a flash in the pan moment.

It is nice to see BabyMetal incorporate Kabuki in their choreography. If they really want to murder their live audience, in addition to having Tom Morello play his guitar bit, they need to have Beni Ninagawa from the Wagakki Band shredding on the Shamisen. No one will leave alive and they would have all died happy.

To be fair, Babymetal were featured on an Uzi track. So not their own track. Have never heard of him, so don't know how it fits in his general discography, but it makes sense, it doesn't fit into Babymetal disco, like this song does.
