Thank you for your warm sense of humor in the face of a struggle! Everything doesn't go on perfectly, that's what these videos are for IMO, and your honest opinion guides what I want to try out.
Julia! I just wanted to say that you're my favorite content creator. You and your videos calm me down & bring me so much joy. I love your consistency and effort in your videos, and every time I see a new video from you, my face lights up! Thank you for being you
I think you’re one of the few influencers left who show proper technique and I love how up close you film because I have crap eyesight at 51 and I can see what your doing! Love it ! Don’t change
I'll never understand the phenomenon of cream blush disappearing for no reason. All the ones with a balmy texture do this to me. Without anything ever touching my face, it'll be gone, and it's one of the true mysteries of the world that nobody will ever be able to solve. 😂😂
@JuliaAdamsMUA We must all be absorbing blush pigments into our blood stream 😂. That's really the only place it can go and the strangest thing is it doesn't happen with any other kind of product. Cream bronzer and highlighter stays on just fine. The only way I ever see pigment disappear with any other makeup product is if it's physically wiped off my face or my oils start separating things. Only cream blush will vanish before I'm even done with my makeup. I just stick to powder, powder/cream hybrids, and liquid now.
Not to ruin the very creative theories, but with dry skin, we absorb whatever we can into our top layer of skin, the pigment just sort of melts into the skin, diffusing further thru the day. I know because when I tried a look with a bold apricot-berry cream blush (la girls, velour, incredibly beautiful shade) and ended up with noticeable color under my eyes & along the side of my bony face. If you don't have an extra bony face and/or use a more subtle shade, it's just dispersing into your skin tone/general face area. Before you do any cleansing, dampen a Kleenex lightly, use very light pressure to sort of just tap the Kleenex onto small spots around your face, but only tap, don't rub or schmear, and you'll see exactly where it goes lol! Setting spray helps immensely, and the Creme Shop blush stains actually stay put. Kinda pricey for drugstore & I love the cute packaging but not so much wanting to pull out my magic horsey theme blush when I'm in a restroom with other professionals, but the peach fluff one is my summer secret weapon, it helps whatever you layer on top of it stay put too. Check reviews on each product tho, quality & definitions vary wildly. Sometimes a balm is sheer, sometimes it's really a high pigment stain lol...
Hey girl! Could you please do a beautiful natural glowing bridal makeup look? I’m doing my own makeup for my wedding it’s coming up in less than 6 months 🫣
Here’s a semi-recent one from Julia: ua-cam.com/video/BSCQfioQmNM/v-deo.htmlsi=kCYR5dO81FlfJ2et Also: Jamie Paige, Brianna Fox, & Allie Glines have some lovely natural bridal tutorials from a couple months ago thru the last 4-ish years. I hope this helps, and congratulations!!!💕
Hello Julia! You are so gorgeous! 💗 As an Esthetician, I've used waxing straps through my career and always find that it does lift skin. I recommend trying sugaring. It warms to the skin and attaches only to the hair. I've haven't had an issue with it lifting skin. But it can cause bruising, if not done correctly.
In terms of waxing. I can’t use regular wax either. I use a sugar paste. Powder it before apply against growth rip off in the direction the hair grows. Love the look and gonna try some of these soon.
Hey Julia ! Just wanted to let you know that waxing on your face can be *really* damaging, sensitive skin or not. In my country I don’t think there’s many places that would even allow doing that, anyways I recommend threading your eyebrows. It focuses on just your eyebrow hair, is more precise, and all you have in the end is just redness. You’ll get the shape you want without damaging your skin like that. Thanks for trying out the Milani blushes, you saved me money because I was planning on buying the exact shade you used ! It was also pretty nice in a different sense to not do an eyeshadow look, I think overall it gave a more casual chic vibe, like you’re travelling.
First time watching you and I immediately subscribed! You seem very real, honest, and down to Earth. I love that you showed us how the makeup wasn't working on you, you took it off, and started again! I like your sense of humor and the kitty intermission too, haha, adorable! You're beautiful with or without makeup too btw! 😘🤗🥰❤️👍🏻💯💄
This is the first lip plumper I've ever actually been able to see any noticeable results of on camera! Wow! Also, my mom's skin is the same way! She can't even shave or do Nair. Hope you heal up nicely ❤
You just sold me on those milani lip tints. I was skeptical cause I didn't want them too be too similar but your swatching made it so clear. So excited to try!
Really like how the red cheeks and lips look on your clean glowy skin ! Will check the Milani lip tints. I remember that those Milani cream blushes fade fast too.
I love the milani cream blush, I was bummed cuz online nude kiss was more brown and in person it was more coral. But I ended up loving how it looks on me.
Thank you for the video!❤ The only way that I like the Milani blushes is by setting them with a powder blush on top, that way it lasts all day. Still not my favorite, it’s like it never looks perfectly uniform, but at least that way we can use it if we have it 😅
I tried the NYX Duck Plump in Ulta and went running to the counter to wipe it off. It felt like I had poured acid on my lips. I had no problem with Maybelline lifter. Love the Melanie in Rose rising.
I would love to see you test out profusion cosmetics since you can now get them in Canada! They have some great products. I love their eyeshadow palettes, brushes and liquid blushes are amazing
Julia would you consider a foundation roundup of Pat McGrath, Lisa Eldridge, About Face, Dior Backstage (I’m surprised I’ve never seen it on your channel…maybe it’s in your older videos?), any others that are new to you like the UD… maybe compared to some foundations we already know you like/have like Armani Luminous Silk, Estée Lauder DW, Mac F&B or Makeup forever. Before I invest in a foundation I like to hear what you have to say about it :) Also I’m surprised you haven’t tried the Beauty Blender skin tint, it’s one of my top favs and I am extremely picky :)
Hi Julia, you mentioned in the beginning of your video while you were applying gel cream, a thicker cream that you used in the winter time. Could you list or link the thicker one you mentioned please? I have dry skin all year, and am always up for trying a good thick moisturizer? Would you recommend it for a dry skin gal? Is it from the same brand as the gel cream you used in the video? Thanks in advance!🌺
Certain skincare actives (especially retinoids) can make your skin more prone to ripping like that. It mighy just be that your skin is sensitive too. I either get them threared or painstakingly tweeze every single hair because I'm on tretinoin (retinoic acid) and my skin will legit come off if I try to wax it, so I get the struggle 😭
This bronzer sounds amazing! You got me hooked on the Makeup by Mario skin enhancer (I’ve gone through 2 of them in the last year!). I am in Alberta also but can’t find this physicians formula bronzer anywhere. Where did you pick it up?
Lol that Milani tubing mascara is an absolute nightmare! 😩 It clumps horribly, stays super wet, and smudges. Immediately returned the next day! Got super nervous when you pulled that one out, lol! 😂 I love the Kill Lash, but it’s not easy to take off. I switched to the Jigott Cat’s Eye Super Lash one and it has been great so far. I too have lashes that, as I hit my mid-40’s they don’t stay curled. I also find the Jigott to be less crunchy than Kill Lash.
Just a thought, not sure if you know this but if you’re using a retinol or any kind of exfoliating acid wax can seriously rip your skin. Or accutane! Maybe could be contributing to that
I love the anti gravity mascara! I could not get the lash extension mascara to work for me mine was so wet and clumped my lashes together! I tried letting it dry out a bit but it still won't work for me!
Have you tried using hard wax instead of strip wax? My skin always lifted around my eyebrows but hard wax is a lot more gentle on thin skin and when I switched over my skin never lifted again! Just a suggestion because I feel your pain 😅
This lip plumper did the same for me. The tingling on the lips is one thing (still quite unpleasant), but it gave me sore throat and some coughing too! Now i only wear in the perimeter of my lips (as you would wear a lip pensil) but honestly I am thinking of throwing it away...
Hi Julia! Happy Friday!! This was such a great video!! About that Physicians Formula BB Cream or Foundation, it is terrible! Everyone I've watched and talked to said that it pulled on them badly. The only way they could wear it was on it's own, on bare skin. No Sunscreen or Moisturizer underneath would work with it. It's not good. Take care!! ❤️
My goodness your eye and your lips are hurting.😪 Have you tried the RMS Mascara? It's supposed to hold a curl and keep your lashes lifted. I haven't tried it, but people have said it works great!!😊❤️❤️
Not that I wish your look to go awry, but I had the same experience with the Physicians Formula BB cream...I could not get it to look right. So disappointing!
I’m sick from the plumping glosses 😅 I started coughing after filming and I haven’t stopped since. It’s been DAYS!!!!
Oh no! Do you believe it's the gloss, or that you're really sick? Allergic reaction? Feel better! ❤
It’s so weird I feel completely fine I just have a cough! Maybe it helped a lil lingering cold kick in
Subtle appreciation for the Milani logo shadow on the blush @ 10:25
I would be really interested to see you try the new About Face foundation it seems to be positively reviewed and I’ve heard good things! ✨
It looks great, I’d love Julia’s take too. It reminds people of high end foundation
I have the About Face foundation. I really like it.
It's so good! I've only had it for a few weeks but I already bought a backup and a darker shade for Summer during the last Ulta sale 😊
It broke me out, and I have acne prone skin…just in case you have acne prone skin also
This stuff is my favorite foundation ever.
Thank you for your warm sense of humor in the face of a struggle! Everything doesn't go on perfectly, that's what these videos are for IMO, and your honest opinion guides what I want to try out.

Your reaction to the "Brown of Applesauce" application really got me - haha!
I think you’re one of the few influencers left who show proper technique and I love how up close you film because I have crap eyesight at 51 and I can see what your doing! Love it ! Don’t change

I have dehydrated skin and am convinced it is because my skin soaks up the moisture from cream blush thus leaving nothing behind lol
Mine does too! It's so sad. 😢
It’s honestly a mystery. Where does it actually go!!!! I guess I absorb it?!?!
@JuliaAdamsMUA We must all be absorbing blush pigments into our blood stream 😂. That's really the only place it can go and the strangest thing is it doesn't happen with any other kind of product. I was going to suggest sugaring as well. So much less irritation ❤
In terms of waxing. I can’t use regular wax either. I use a sugar paste. Powder it before apply against growth rip off in the direction the hair grows. Love the look and gonna try some of these soon.

You’re sooo pretty with or without makeup. I love your calming voice, too. So gorgeous ❤
Really appreciate how honest you are and not just oh, it's pretty but maybe not for me. Really interested in those stains!
your flashback test photo was giving 90s realness!! so good

‚Fighting with itself‘ same
Really like how the red cheeks and lips look on your clean glowy skin ! Will check the Milani lip tints. I remember that those Milani cream blushes fade fast too.
The Lip tint and the blush looked so nice on you.
Yayyy new Julia video! Settling in with my coffee & about to do my makeup for the day :)
You should seriously link your nail color in every video! They always look so good and i can never find a color to match right
We need a Milani lip tint try-on short 😍🔥🔥
seriously love you and your videos so much been here for a while 💗
If waxing doesn’t work for you, you should try sugaring! I personally find it much more gentle
You look DYNAMITE, Julia😍😍🧨🧨
Congrats on curbing the 🫦! Every time you upload I know it will be a video that I will enjoy ♥️.
"it actually looks like a foot" I BURST OUT LAUGHING GIRL LOL that concealer ahaha
I love the milani cream blush, I was bummed cuz online nude kiss was more brown and in person it was more coral. But I ended up loving how it looks on me.
Physicians Formula does great powders ... never tried anything else but their powders are really good!!!
Thank you for the video!❤

Lol I laughed out loud at your reaction when you tried on the Nyx gloss for the first time
You look really beautiful in a red lip!!!😊
LOVE your videos and your personality 😍 you're so funny!
“Have we not suffered enough?!” 😂 so good
You read my mind! Definitely looking forward to this one!!!
Thank you for your dedication! Whatever I first lay down on my face I'm sticking with, no matter what #lazy
I love love loooove the Milani cream blushes! They last so much more on ne than Tower 28, plus I mix the one I own with many other blushes
I tried the NYX Duck Plump in Ulta and went running to the counter to wipe it off. It felt like I had poured acid on my lips. I had no problem with Maybelline lifter. Love the Melanie in Rose rising.

Sooo excited, and literally such a perfect timing ( i bought the elf bronzing drops today, and this made me rly excited to get it)
We left waxing back in 2016 girlie, I bet you have great threaders nearby!
Hey we have matching waxing scars 😅 also thanks for showing us the products not working, I love to see the reality !

Julia, you have to try the Quo Beauty lip stains....they are so good and does not dry out your lips.
They have a non fiery one called sun that’s also gold glitter I love.
Omggg I love the lips 😍 bummer it was too burnt 🥵

It seems like you’ve been dabbling in some K Beauty. Would love a video about recommend K Beauty products. Makeup and skincare.
Ok I wanna try the bronzer drops and the maybelline glosses
Hello love! Sorry if you’ve been asked this a lot but what hair dye brand do you use for your brown hair? It’s so pretty!!!
Always so pretty at the end ❤
The way you applied that nyx gloss made me laugh out loud on the train 😂

have you tried the clarins water lip stains? i have the orange one and im happily surprised with how pigmented it is on my dark lips!

That colour on your lips looks beautiful drugstores prices yup. 😂 xxx
wow the bright red milani lip stain 🫠
Colour pop like everyone else just came out with a product like the elf grinding one. I think it is going to be better.
You not the only one not liking the Bbcream Enjoyed video
Figured the burning would happen. Noticed the 🌶️ at 17:18 😅😮

There is a pepper on the bottle. 😅😅😅. I knew that was gonna sting.
Yeah I was disappointed with the concealer too... I'm hoping when it gets humid it will look better because of the hyaluronic acid in it.
As much as I it killed me to buy that maybelline skin tint at shoppers drug mart for 24.99$!!!! I hate to say I Love it!!! It’s so good.
I get my eyebrows threaded, its more precice and gentle
RIP Physician's Formula Healthy Glow
My goodness your eye and your lips are hurting.😪 Have you tried the RMS Mascara? It's supposed to hold a curl and keep your lashes lifted. I haven't tried it, but people have said it works great!!😊❤️❤️
Julia don’t wax, thread your eyebrows! It doesn’t rip your skin off and it lasts longer :)
Not that I wish your look to go awry, but I had the same experience with the Physicians Formula BB cream...I could not get it to look right. So disappointing!
Giiiirl go get your eyebrows threaded! Your eyebrows look so much cleaner than waxing!
Aww I feel so bad that the wax wripped your skin like that. That looks painful 😭
could you check the french brand Violette and tell us what you think? Please and thank you 🫶
Great video! I can’t with lipstick seeping into my mouth, so annoying!
Tes chats sont tellement guidoune 😂
Oh my gosh be careful 🥺 Maybe only test one plumping gloss at a time in future 💕 I really hope your lips and your waxing scar recover!
I heard most of people use the NYX duck plump glosses and they throat get numb 😬 be carefull
Did u used hardwax? Dries and u rip off no strip
