Hello Crescent! Great channel! One question, when I was placing my first product,I couldn’t use UPC code that I got on barcode mania. Instead used the manufacture approval for selling. Is always like this for privet labeling? Thank you!
No. If you're selling private label products, there won't be a manufacturer's barcode on your products.

Hi Crescent. Really love your videos they are so helpful. Please can you just clarify, I'm trying to get a GTIN exemption for my product so I can create my listing but they want photos of my product with my logo on. The product is being made currently and when it is done I will have the product on the box but only my logo on the packaging. Will this be suitable for them do you think?
Hello! I'm glad to hear you find value in the content! As long as the photos show your product with your brand/logo on it, you'll be ok. I suggest you get a GS1 barcode instead of the exemption so you can avoid dealing with these kinds of issues. GS1 barcodes are only $30/ea now.

Hey Crescent, awesome content as always !!!! One question.... I just launched a new product (3 weeks ago) and its already selling at 15.00, this is the price I entered at the "my price" field and I have the buy box. I will however have it selling at 23.00 at a later stage. What is your opnion if I change it now to 23.00 as "my price" but at the same time I put the "sale price" at the current 15.00?
There's nothing wrong with doing that. If you lose the buy box then slowly raise the price.

Crescent Kao getting my gtin approved. I sent my first one in and got it approved after 2 days but still couldn’t list. Took days to figure out there was a space between the words and that was the reason I couldn’t. I then submitted a new one with the correct spacing and got it denied because I didn’t have a
• Support letter: “The support letter is missing the brand's owner stamp”. I don’t have this. For the first one I got approved (wrong spacing) I didn’t send it in and it got approved.. and can’t move forward. My product is almost done being manufactured and I still don’t have a listing up 😔

Thank you Crescent. What happens if by the time of creating your listing and you're asked to request approval from amazon to use your brand name that you created. Do you hv to have a registered business in order to brand a product?

Hi Crescent, great video again. 100% the best content for FBA on youtube. Any rough estimation how much Chinese suppliers will usually charge to apply the FNSKU barcodes and shipping labels? just because I am new to this and don't want to be ripped off. So many costs involved in FBA need to get my estimated profit margins right when selecting my product. thank you.
Thank you for your feedback! Sometimes it can be free or less $0.10. Typically, it's cheaper than having Amazon do it or doing it yourself.

Glad you found value in the content. I said I don’t recommend it. There’s a per unit fee and it most likely ends up costing more than if you just shipped your inventory to multiple warehouses.

Glad you're continuing to find value! You can create separate shipping plans for each ASIN or to make a single plan, create the shipping plan from the parent listing.. Each ASIN requires it's own UPC barcode: ua-cam.com/video/eyMI-IJT160/v-deo.html
Actually l am now going to start my fba, l will be selling shoes with a brand name and logo. My supplier has 3 color variations, for different sizes. My sample shoe with the logo is shipped for inspection. I have never created my product listing yet.

Glad you found value in the the video. You need to set a date range for the Sale Price to apply. Since you're going to use the Sale Price as the actual price you want to sell it for, just set the date range to some time in the past and end sometime far in the future.

There's no costs to offer the gift option. If someone uses the option, you earn extra profit.

Thanks for a great video. Regarding the “your price” vs. “sale price” tip, doesn’t Amazon always charge you fees based on the “your price?” So if you jack that up, you could be increasing your fees?
No, the fees are always based on the price the unit actually sells for.

The fee estimate is always based off the Your Price field. The fees you’re charged are based off the actual price it sells for.
Hi, I thought the point was to put whatever max high price in your price and set the sale price as “the real price”. So I have to wait for a unit to actually be sold to see what my FBA fees will actually be? Kinda wanted to know up front. Guess I’ll do the math since the inventory field won’t list the real fees based on my sale price.

You can store the units at your home, a storage unit or at a 3PL service and ship in more units when you run low at Amazon. As your sales volume increases, your IPI score should go up and the 200 unit limit will be raised or removed.

Great video, thanks alot. Iam complete newie here and I have a confusion that I need help with. My seller central features and even words are different than what I see on other sellers seller central. I was thinking, is it because of the difference between American and British English? For example when creating new shipping plan first listing even I don't ever see add a new product, instead it says a product that do not sold on Amazon or a product that is selling on Amazon. So I click a product that is not sold on Amazon, I guess!? Again it says Item name or ID instead of product name or product ID😉
