Hello. I really want to go to St Andrews and i already live i scotland. But my family doesn't have a lot of money and j was wondering if you knew what kind of financial support st andrews have?
I think there's quite a few bursaries and scholarships available which are all in the website. Some are subject/school specific, but others are only means tested.
I was there on a summer school last year and gad originally thought there wasn't really anything i wanted tocthe there, by the end if the week i had the uni stuck in my head, flash forward to today, and I'm starting in September to study English
@@dilemmmas Thanks, I'm really lucky that I got to go to the summer school through the Sutton trust, I reckon if it wasn't for that I'd not have gotten in
@@margaretkalashnikova792 I’ll be answering this in my next video! If you have any more specific questions feel free to leave them below or on my community tab!
Hey I enjoyed your experience in the town and I am going to be in St Andrews from September on a Postgraduate programme , hope we can connect and I can get to know more details. Thanks
Thank you so much for reaching out! That's exciting, their postgrad programs are amazing as well from what I've heard, I hope to see you around campus!
Would you be interested in doing a masters after your undergrad degree? Or do you want to work after your bachelor? ❤ I did my bachelor of nursing 100 years ago lol (1998) and I have just almost finished my master of mental health nursing. Now I’m going to enrol in a diploma of nursing (clinical education). So yeah I’ve been bitten by the academic bug lol I work as a nurse at the same time. So many options Do you want to be a teacher? Or a writer? Love this video thanks for making it ❤
Thank you so much for the comment and your kind words! I am interested in going for a postgraduate degree, right now the goal is Oxford as I've always wanted to attend there as a postgraduate student more so than an undergraduate student. I'm thinking of going there for either law or english, but that is a decision for me in a few years. The goal is to become an author however I'm very interested in international law as well! Again thank you so much for the comment, it's so amazing you've found so much success academically and I aim to do the same. Thank you!
fyi unis in the UK are constantly ridden by lecturer strikes. You could go a full year without getting your essays graded, wait a whole summer for your exams to be graded, have no lectures etc. Seems like St Andrews is not an exception in this from a quick google.
I'm excited about the opportunity to start an MSc in St. Andrews next month 🎉❤
Heyyy, I’m also going to St Andrews this year!!!!
No way! Huge congrats! I hope to see you around campus then!
Heyyy...I'm also coming in September this year 🎉. I'm super excited

I’m applying to St Andrews this year. I’m really afraid. Do you have any advice about personal statement?

You do seem to have researched a decent amount. I hope you enjoy it. Just be prepared for the North Sea wind.
Thanks for the advice! I hope I'll be equipped- I'm from a cold place myself- and I'm very excited!

Think you come out with an MA after 4 years at St Andrews, pretty common in Scotland.

Thank you for the information! I do know students at St Andrews and thankfully they haven't had a problem with this!
I’d much rather be in the US than UK, especially Scotland. Saying this as someone from Edinburgh.
And that's exactly why you're saying that. Everyone wants the exotic.
