    Perfect around the chicken run to save spooking the chickens and ripping the wire with the trimmer line. Another nice bit of kit 👌

    I like your videos. Maybe you should also say what market this lovely piece of kit is NOT designed for. That would help and sound more unbiased. Keep on doing what your doing

    Have one of these and main problem is motor is weak, especially when using hedge/shrub trimming attachment. At best it feels like the battery is half flat when fully charged. Also clutch is weak resulting in constant stopping of blades as soon as there is any moderate load.
    It's a shame really because Stihl make quality tools. This looks nice, but sadly completely lacks grunt. Expensive for what it is. Although Milwaukee don't do a grass attachment for this one handed device, they do have a range of alternatives with more power. Price varies a lot, so well worth typing in cheapest price to get a good deal for something professional...

    I would strill ratrher try to trim some corners and uncomfortable spots of small hedges or shrubs etc instead also with this blade dedicated originally for the grass.

    Sharpening the blades? Seems like it should be similar to sharpening hedge trimmer blades? Great video again and all the best with the competition 🤞🏽

    26 amp/hrs? very impressive, most manufacturers need a backpack to hold anything like that. After the initial charge i doubt you would need to charge it again in your life time.

      I did goof up on my numbers with the amp hrs. The battery is 2.6 amphrs.
      But I did give the accurate run time.
      Thank you for watching.

    What is the advantage of this over a pair of shears? Shears give a cleaner cut with greater control, and you still have to go down on hand and knees when using this tool. Can't see the point.

      @@TheFullyChargedGardener Gosh! There is an "International Creative Stripes Competition" ? Who knew. Excuse my ignorance, as a (mostly) non gardener. Hope u did well. Your video caught my eye as today I bought a 20v Aldi-Ferrex hand sheers & 20cm trimmer combo. Impulse buy as the price attracted me, reduced to 15 euro. Comes with pole extension too. No battery or charger but have 5amp batteries & charger already. Seem like very useful tools for finer, more delicate work. Your video taught me a lot, thank you.

    What is the difference between HSA 26 and the 25?

  • @adus123
    @adus123 4 роки тому +1

    would be half ok if you didn't have to be on your hands and knees to use it

    • @TheFullyChargedGardener
      @TheFullyChargedGardener  4 роки тому

      Adrian G Eyre A lot of people get down on their hands & knees to clear the clippings from the edges. Much in the same way - if you are in the border weeding - you could trim the lawn edge as you go. As I mentioned in the video - a great alternative for those who don’t want to use a strimmer 😀

      @@TheFullyChargedGardener hahaha 😅 there a hand tool for it as well it's called edging shears lol. Sorry l like most Stihl tools but this one not selling it's self for me. I normally blow them away if there is a lot.

      Adrian G Eyre I’m not sure if there is one available for this HSA 26, but they did have an extension shaft for the 25, great for the hedges, not so great for the trimming of lawns. But it’s supplied with wheels, so they intend on it getting used for that. :)

      Adrian G Eyre Some people like to clear the clippings as they go. That is the beauty of choice - their are machines out there to suit different styles of gardening.

    I use to trim with manual scissors for this backbone the 80s. I wonder if they still make them?
