Very relaxing video, love the natural style aquarium. The greens really pop in this tank, I'm sure your stocking will elevate it to the next level. Thanks as always for taking us along on the journey of your hobby. Take care.
@@IMaquaperfect setup what light did you use here? I would love to build this on a bigger scale . How long did you let the tank cycle before adding fish?
I really like the rocky substrate you use in a lot of your builds. With pockets of aquasoil. Certainly a good way to save some money and get a nice looking environment.
It feels so soothing to the eyes...i would love to build this type of tank..can you please suggest some plants which can be grown without need of co2? Thanks in advance
love it!!! question - why not put aquasoil on the wood (inplace where you put the java moss) and plant with even more smaller plants say parva, buce, UG, HG or the such---just a though. would love to hear back on your thought
Well mostly it's just money. Usually I order plants that are that week on discount or use some of the plants I have in my extra holding tanks. But I like your idea, I did something similar in one of my future builds (but wood is out of the water).
I have a question, can plants only grow in the aquarium soil or can them grow in the little rocks too?pls. i'm a biginer😂 by the way very nice looking setup👌
I always start with 7. I found out that's enough for most of the low maintenance plants. If needed I will increase to 8. Only aquariums where I have a longer light duration are: Hillstream aquarium (10 hours) where I grow algae on purpose and Walstad aquarium (12 hours) where I have a lot of plant mass.
For this one I didnt use CO2. If you want to CO2 use plants will be more lush, dense and grow faster. Without CO2 they will be more "leggy" and grow slower. It all depends on what you want.
I have a 70ltr container that I fill up with tap water. Inside of the container I have an aquarium pump that is plugged into a WiFi plug that I turn on/off with my mobile. When I turn it on the pump will push the water.
ok awesome thanks! i see a bunch of ppl filling slowly and didnt really know if there was something ppl bought or use used a standard pump. your method makes sense, appreciate it@@IMaqua
That is correct but I also never added Corydoras to this aquarium. In aquariums I keep Corydoras I usually have sand or fine gravel. Corydoras breeding aquariums are usually kept bare bottom.
I think you are talking about beneficial bacteria. They are in the soil, plants, filter and all the aquarium surfaces. Yes plants can grow without CO2 but aquariums with CO2 have plants that are better looking and more lush.

Where Can I find this gravel? I couldn't find anywhere. Love the vídeo
The name of the gravel is Rio Xingu. You should search for nearest supplier. Cheers

Not that I noticed. I am doing weekly water changes plus my water is already hard, kh7 and gh9.

I would love to receive a link or the name of a safeguard that is placed under the rocks
I bought it on Amazon many years ago. Just type "egg crate aquarium".
Is that Rio Xingu gravel? That looks way better than I expected it to, and now I might have to consider using it in a future setup!
Yes it is. If you will use it just a word of advice. Wash it...and then wash it again. It is very dirty.
@@IMaqua Good to know, thank you!

Is there anywhere I can buy that gravel in the US? I can’t find it anywhere
Does it need co2?
I didn't use CO2 in this aquarium.
I have a question, can plants only grow in the aquarium soil or can them grow in the little rocks too?pls. i'm a biginer😂 by the way very nice looking setup👌
There are plants that can grow on rocks (woood) or even floating. I would recommend you to research "epiphyte" plants.
@@IMaqua ok thank you

super👏
Thanks.
Hi what is the filter you use brand?
The name of the filter is Aquael Versamax mini.
I have another question though. How much weight is in the hardscape and rocks? And if I use a 15w light, will it be enough for 2 feet tank?
The light I had on this aquarium is 21W and I used only 15% brightness. The weight of the rocks is probably around 4-5kg and 2-3 kg of gravel.
@@IMaqua Thank you for the information

Grow sharks in this❤

Which FERTILIZER use
In this aquarium I didnt use. In case I use ferts I will add micro+K and the product name is the pinned comment.
What is total price of this setup🫥🫡
Well that depends where you are from. I don't remember the exact price of this one but it could be in the range of 300-500€.
How long will the plants last?
What do you mean last? If you trim the tops and replant them they are immortal.
Is there anywhere I cans buy the gravel you’re using? Can’t find it anywhere
The name of the gravel is Rio Xingu by Dennerle. I am from Europe and bought it here but I am not sure it is available in the US.

Sorry but I don't understand.

The name and link is in the pinned comment. Rio Xingu gravel.
How much litres of aqua soil you used in this setup?
I added soil only in the back so not much. If I had to estimate maybe 4-5L.
bro if I put goldfish in there will they survive?
Survive yes. Thrive no.
