I have been using a pair of Sony ZX110 for keyboard playing for 5 years and have found them to be excellent (and I have a new pair still in the original box). I decided to try a more "professional" pair of headphones for mixing, I purchased the Sennheiser HD280 Pro but immediately returned them due to their high level of "microphonics" (cable noise on the earcup) and their stiff, heavy spring cable. I would try a pair of Sony MDR-7506s, but after watching your video I am quite skeptical :-) Any suggestion, what about the m50x?

I recommend the Audio-Technica ATH-M50. One of the best headphones I own for the price. Not very portable, though, it's meant for studio use. I don't recommend the Sony MDR-7506.
