Thanks for the great review Niky as always!
Nice video. Supplied the information I needed
Nice, great review in such a short time. You got 1 subscriber here. Love the Raize, benn thinking nga if turbo or just the base model would be enough. Thanks for the review.
Nice review. Good thing not time taken to count the cup holders straight to the performance.
Nice review. Not a sec wasted!
Is it my phone lagging or is your video broken
Your phone
@@MrAdobo-vi1cd 14 ppl liked the comment so I’m thinking not
Yes. Esp on the test drive portion
Nice one Niky!
Thanks, very realistic review. Planning to get a 1.2 cvt and I'm glad it's within my expectations. Hindi naman ako aarangkada sa daan. I need a car that will take me from point A to B to C and the occasional trip to my lola's place. I think ok din yung Raize in terms of space, pwede na si baby at yaya along with bags and stroller, baby booster seat and my stuff. Pwede ko din gamitin for personal trips with friends or errands.
The turbo model, any good for saving on fuel? Or should I go with another model
Turbocharged engine is not really for speed, it's for efficiency, that is why it got only 1 liter engine, it will make almost same or even greater output to that of 1.2liter.
Thank you captain obvious!
I am driving a 2017 Altis V variant (CVT) looking to replace with a higher ground clearance, it will continue to serve as daily EDSA commuter with my wife and on weekends, malling car with my 2yr old toddler. RAIZE or VELOZ?
Thank you, Nikki. You have helped me choose between the G and the turbo. And I realize I only need the G. It's just for city driving.
Hii
bcoz of this review I've both toyota raize turbo torqouise mica blue color
Nice and detailed content, appreciate your quick assessment on this video and for the raize it's really selling like hotcakes 🤔👍
Video is lagging
The maintenance of this turbo engine might cost more. I will just go with the lower variant.
Its a very honest review👍 thanks for that
The lack of side airbags in the G model is a deal breaker.
thank you sir
Toyota started the SUV,cross over trends.they r king👑 of autos
If this car is called daihatsu raize, would anyone of you even consider buying it?
Bow down to the cream of the cream car reviewer in the PH. Meron ka bang sariling vlog, channel?
lol. thanks. sana lang may time to vlog. hahaha.
Boss ilan lbs yung weight ng Toyota Raize turbo 1pc 17" stock mags?
10kg stock 17 inch 👌... Swapped them to rota's 2kg lighter..
Double Thumbs up for the raize 1.0 turbo. Driven the test model.. The only problem is the availability.. im still on the damn waiting list.. even at inhouse financing
Hi…Is there a way to change the language from Japanese to English in the setting?
no...thats not gonna happen... just learn english language
yes there is.....in the settings
Please review the Raize 1.2 Hybrid
Sana di made in phil ung ecu para pwede ma remap
Nice
nice, we can use engine braking on corners if required :)
Yes u can use the engine break.. test driven one from the dealer . 1.0 turbo has paddle shifters for quick downshifts and engine breaking.. very responsive than the honda city we had before probably because of the transmission..one of the reasons why im still on the damn waiting list for the turbo unit.
@@em5396 How long have you been waiting?
This Toyota Raize is a Mini RAV4.
SANA SIR NAG TAGALOG KA NLNG LOL
What's the safety crash rating on this car?
5 Star ASEAN NCAP
Won't qualify as 5 Star on EuroNCAP without active braking, but the passive crash safety is about as good as it gets in this price range.
What about on NHTSA and IIHS?
@@multicons Not sold in that market.
But generally, anything that scores five stars on the purely physical part of a Global NCAP test should score four to five stars on any NHTSA or IIHS test, with the exception of the small overlap test, since only the IIHS uses this test, and non-American models aren't built for it. (it requires special reinforcement on the perimeter frame around the engine)
@@nikytamayo I know it's not available on those market. I just meant, what about being qualified on NHTSA and IIHS if it's 5 star on ASEAN NCAP? Just like you compared it to Euro NCAP.
@@multicons It's very difficult to say. Some cars that get four stars in the US get five outside, and some that get five in the US only get four outside, or are dinged on technicalities (the US does not require active pedestrian or cyclist detection and braking). It's a case to case basis, with seemingly no rhyme or reason, at least in terms of the actual crash tests themselves.
You can only directly compare NCAP to NCAP.
It's really fast. That's why you rarely see one in the dealers. Gone in 60 seconds. 😂
Lol. Not a single friend who's shopping for a Raize has managed to snag a turbo. They're like baby blue unicorns.
Haha! Same with dealers here. Already reserved 3 months ago for a turbo WP, wala pa rin unit hanggang ngayon 😃😅
Apa sayang mau lagi
haha..plenty options for this price if u want a performance car..and this car is not anywhere a performance car catergory..
And it's still under power Toyota sud have just use the 1.6 3clin...turbo and de tune it to 210hp use it in that Wud b a bang
Regret dont have this engine in m'y Aygo 2017 & in m'y car only a poor 1.0 cc ,69 ch ,93 nm torque it's very slow no pleasure driving this car but non money to buy other
Lot of power = 97 horses.😑
plastic easy to clean
Is this a real Toyota?
You know like how the Supra is a BMW.
Bakit ang pangit ng review ng turbo?
You need to cut your hair and wipe your sweaty face bruh, anyhow, great review!
LOL. Very hot out there that day!
Torque of a 2 Liter?
Ano nasinghit neto.
Eto yung 3zz engines ng 2000s era 140Nm na din hatak. 1.6L lang.
Lol masyado naman halata na bayad tong review na to ng toyota lol.
Maximum torque, definitely not, but off the line, it has the same urge. Perhaps I should have clarified that!
@@nikytamayo and you are? Toyota salesperson?
Masyadong halatado binayaran tong review na to.
Puro kalokohan.
2 liter 2 liter torque.
@@DA-fr1qp well, I would be happy if I got paid commission on sales, but no, Toyota does not pay for reviews.
And no, the Raize definitely can't go off-road. And not because it lacks four wheel drive, but because it lacks ground clearance. Which is why I emphatically stated that it is more fitting as a mall crawler.
@@nikytamayo and you are?
Torque of a 2 Liter?
Tawag dyan fraudulent marketing. 140Nm lang yan tas present mo kasinglakas ng hatak ng 2.0 Liter engine.
So ano nasinghot mo po? Kung walang sponsorship involved para manloko ng ganyan.
Mas mabilis pa yung vios 1.3L kesa dito.
It has the hp of a 1.5 liter? It has 97hp. Vios has 106 hp, avanza has 104hp.
Honda city is the golden standard for 1.5 li engines - 119hp.
97hp is closer to a 1.3 li. Vios has 98hp.
No sir, it doesn't have the power of a 1.5.
It definitely does have the power of a 1.5 , I would argue it's even better. Especially at low rpm it is superior because the turbo spools quickly.
In the raize you can have 3 adults in the car , Ac on and it will accelerate better than a 1.5 with ac off and 1 person in the car. I know this for a fact because I have driven the raize and compared it against lancer and toyota 1.5 engines.
The raize hp power numbers are small but dont let the number fool you. It accelerates from 0-100km in 9 seconds vs 12/13 seconds in a naturally aspirated 1.5.
@@warcrabcyber9908 i agree.. test driven one.. it has better acceleration than my altis 1.6 2012 model. I can dart through traffic with a light tap. I agree The numbers are quite small. But the real feeling its like a better 1.8 engine.
