Have both Ganymede and Bois Imperial. They have similarities for sure but once u wear them both u clearly understand the differences and realize they're not redundant. Atleast to my wearing. I love them both. If it means anything....bois imperial took time to grow on me. I liked it but it turned into a love in time. Ganymede was immediate.

Nice Video Dedrick! Good to see you exploring the house of Xerjoff! I have 5 Xerjoff fragrances and love them all (Naxos, Tony Iommi monkey special, Torino 21, Golden Dallah, and Dolce Amalfi) You should give Naxos a try if you like a fresh vanilla honey tobacco based scent. Torino 21 is great too but very difficult to find these days because it’s a limited release fresh lemon mint lavender scent.
Thanks for your recommendation of Mind Games French Defense! I love cherry based fragrances. Have you tried Duchessa by Gritti before? That’s also a cherry based scent that’s supposed to be good, but rarely available with discounters.

I can’t do Ganymede, it smells like a super sterile dental office, to me, reminds me of laughing gas.
Xerjoff Uden, Uden Overdose, Torino 21, and Tony Iommi are my favorites, have backups of each.

What’s going on sir. I definitely have to agree with you on Burlington 1819 that opening when I first smelled it was off putting it smelled like sweat to me lol but I let it sit for awhile and like it a lot better now. Another amazing video by the way.

Sup Ded! You are spot on about Bois Imperial, as it is definitely the slightly more "wearable" or mass-pleasing version of the Ganymede DNA. I like to think of them as Ganymede being "minerals and suede" vs. BI being "salt and leather". Kind of just a more straightforward version of the Ganymede profile, so to speak. I love both and have both, but even though BI isn't as "magical" as Ganymede, I think it's the more likeable scent of the 2, especially when price is considered. Also, I was fortunate enough to find a 100ml bottle of TF Tobacco Oud a few months ago, and I'm...torn. Sometimes, I think the thing is an amazing work of art and I can't understand how anyone couldn't like it, and other times, I feel like I don't know what my nose was picking up and I need to sell the thing (lol). Time will tell, I guess, so we'll see if I keep it in my collection when the fall/winter comes back around. Cheers, bro!

Bro I got the most ignorant Bois Et Cuir story. Was Vanilla Oud focused after trying a decant (bottle in route), started researching the house of Vertus. Interested in Bois Et Cuir.. ordered a decant/saw yall live stream damn near same time (Irony). Found a bottle for the low, but from somewhere I never shopped before. Solid comments..gave it a go. Tried decant first...very nice, bottle arrived next day. Confusion. Didnt smell as potent from the bottle. Noticed the atomizer pulled up everytime u remove the top. leakage, moisture. Now Im wondering how long its been broken OR...suspect juice? Gotta return/refund... #Madness. Now I'm unsure on getting a full bottle. I'll probably get a larger decant. #EndofStory
