I immediately fell in love with this town since the first time I saw pictures of it. Really hope that after getting my degree, I get to visit and maybe even settle down there if I fit in.
Back in early 2000s I spent 10 days visiting my sister in Bigfork and loved everything about the town, especially Brookie’s Cookies and their outdoor entertainment/bbq nites! Looked at some potentials so I flew back in right after Christmas so I could check out winter living. It was a no. I live in Minnesota so it wasn’t the cold or snow, it was the constant freeze thaw on hilly mountainous roads that stopped me from wanting to live there. Thank You very much, I’ll just visit. Super friendly people!
As gorgeous as Montana is i could never or want to afford to live there.
The first time I visited I didn't like Big Fork much. Then we started staying in the teepees at stepping stone. I love Big Fork now!
Greetings from Evergreen, Montana!
BEAUTIFUL SCENERY! Thanks for taking us along!
My favorite town. Love the Swan Trail. Labor Day weekend is also popular. The car show is one of the best. The coffee shop on the river has the best cookies. Thanks for the video!!
I might politely add, Bigfork does, continue on, 30 miles south on hwy 83, from junction 209, but downtown, stores and restaurants are all up by Flathead lake. It’s ALL beautiful! Happy to be a new-ish resident of Bigfork, 35 miles down hwy 83 :) our 3rd winter here. Always a great video Will ! And yes, Will was our realtor 😊
If things really go my way, this year, as I expect them to, I'm going to be buying Cromwell Island in Montana this year... I know, big purchase, but if I have it, I'd like to get to know ya... You seem like a good guide for the state... I been in Colorado for the past decade, so hopefully I'll be bringing a solar and wind turbines farm with me to the island... Should be awesome... Great video on Big Fork so I could see what the closest "big town" looks like...
Adorable town ❤️
My home.....❤
Love Bigfork ♥
Very nice looking part of Montana. Cheers, Will! ✌️
It sure is!
Love the videos!!
Glad you like them!
Looks nice. I'd live there, if I could.
Greetings from Clarks Fork.
Love Big Fork! But Essex is tops!
Hopefully you cover also Conrad
Okay, camera is set. Now cue the bald eagle!
On the first take!
I like the idea of the 459 acre ranch with the four bedroom 6680 square ft house for $20 million. But i would have to knock all the four bedrooms into one, so the family couldn't come and stay.
Punxsutawney Phil has predicted an early spring. That means it should arrive in Montana sometime in May. 😂😂
July 5th to be safe!
Was that an eagle that flew behind you in your intro?
It was, just like I planned it! 😂
Bigfork and the flathead valley have become a nightmare with so many people moving in. It's going to keep getting worse each year. And it's being done by design #Agenda2030 #Californification
Not a great place to be anymore. I live there. Waaay too many people, noise, congestion, and very very expensive. Taxes are insane there. Uncontrolled growth has ruined it.
I wondered about that. My family has looked at moving to places like Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. I've got a great friend from Wyoming who told me the same thing about popular towns/tourist town in those states. He stated while they're wonderful places to live, too many people(like myself) from out of state are moving to these places and causing all kinds of issues similar to what you stated, as well as, not adapting to the culture of the area and expecting everyone else to adapt to them.
People need to stop moving here and ruining everything im tired of everything becoming a tourist attraction here
The people who are actual rich in Montana are not here during the winter, they are where it’s warm, Montana is snowbird heaven, anybody who actual has money would never stay in this state during the winter.
Shows you don't have a clue what you're talking about about.@@punchfreneticallydot
You suck big fork is the best
Last thing we need are more tourists and new residents. The traffic is unbelievable. Lines in every store and restaurant and major crime is rampant. The litter along the roadways is depressing. The valley has been ruined and it will only get worse. Assaults on new residents and tourist continue to increase. Spread the word. Maybe you will stop coming here.
Do you think people said that when you moved here?
@@LivinginMontana1 been here my entire life. I realize everyone is entitled to live where they want. It's just frustrating seeing such a great place to raise a family be ruined in just a few short years.
Agree 100%. We lived in Bigfork 26 years, moving there in 1996. The stupid real estate agents advertise it as a “quaint Artist village”. There’s nothing “quaint” about it anymore. We sold our house 4 years ago and moved to Somers. Bigfork has been ruined. By the way, a friend owns one of those boat slips at the harbor. He was offered $315,000 for it. A hole in the water. A round of golf? $275, if you know a member. In the last recession, the boat slips were going for $8,000.
