I doubt Amiri Baraka intended to incite literal violence - I mean he never actually tried to do so outside of poetry. But I don't think it's irrational or inappropriate to use such strong language, given that African Americans in the US were certainly *never* subjected to the kind of moderate, peaceful, non-violent resistance of the kind that we expect from them now. In a way that is more than metaphorical, I would say, my fellow whites (at least many of the ones writing comments here) have sadly forfeited a better, more humane, more morally honest life that they could have if they would allow themselves to admit to and accept their share of the weight of America's history of white supremacist violence and suppression.
The only way to get reparations for all of that would be to take it by force, because it won't/can't happen any other way. I'm pretty sure he knew that. This is also not poetry...despite the scat singing.
+CounterRevolutionary because racist like you still exist only to be found by the bumber of my car and to taste the Michelin's as I drive over you to create Racist Road Kill.

Does anyone know the year this poem was written?

+The Groove Oooh, dats def; you should use dat in a poetry jam.
You're the ultimate troll bruh. Good gimmick
Why "IS" we Americans... spoken like a true illiterate.
It was deliberate. You would never understand LOL
The ellipse implies that you had further thought you chose to leave out of your sentence, clearly you don't understand punctuation because with a mind as closed as yours there couldn't have been any room for extra thoughts lingering in the ignorance of your sentence and misused ellipse.
So... an inbred white supremacist who probably peaked in high school is calling one of the greatest poets of modern times an illiterate? That's funny.
Poems don’t have to be literate or be grammatically correct, pretty sure you’re the illiterate one here.
