Jamal Murray and Khris Middleton are the two biggest what-if’s in my opinion. If they can pull it together they can make a huge difference for Jokic and Giannis respectively, who are driving underpowered teams atm. Hope both can pull it together because I want the Jokic Giannis final.
Murray has been trash for a while now. He's always injured and isn't worth the contract they gave him. Nuggets really messed up and my guy Jokic has to suffer because of their terrible front office. Bucks messed up signing Doc as their coach.
Ever since their championship murray has checked out. Dude bought into his own hype and acts like he’s too good to put the work in during the regular season and will let jokic and the rest take care of things. Nuggets should keep westbrook at the 1 and trade murray for a high value role player like a josh hart type (not that they’re gonna get josh hart, just another role player who hustles on defense, assists, and rebounds while also being able to get you points when you need)
Making the playoffs with that as your core is harmful to the franchise. Thier payroll says "title contenders" while thier on court play says "blow the entire roster up"
Jamal Murray is CJ McCollum wearing a Jamal Murray mask. Prove me wrong. Dude will drop 45 tonight, then be complete ass for the next few games, then drop 50. Then be trash for a few more games, then 42.
It’s not even a given Philly makes the playoffs at this point. Their upcoming schedule is crazy. If the bulls sell at the deadline maybe they could get that 10 seed. But can’t see them passing anyone else in the standings
I agree it’s not looking good for them bro at this point they might have to think about tanking the rest of the season because if they don’t their draft pick will go to OKC
If only Embiid, PG and Maxey can be healthy together is beginning to sound a lot like if only Durant, Harden and Kyrie were available at the same time.
When philly traded for paul george my immediate thought was “we literally just saw the clippers try to pair too injury prone stars together, why does philly think they’ll do better?” And philly is playing out just like the clippers did
@duder7396 you mean last year when he played catch and shoot with harden and had his most efficient season ever at 33? Harden always gets role players paid, nothing new. Whats surprising is Morey not knowing, even after Embiid had his best season while harden lead the league in assists. Actually so funny that they swapped teams
@@chadwicked444 Oh yeah it was because of harden for sure i'm not denying that but just saying that's why he was so well respected before he joined the sixers because people just saw the points and % instead of knowing he was a glorified 3&D guy with barely any D left
@@cheap272 I know. He was the worst clipper in the playoffs except maybe coffey and PJ. Just saying why he was well thought of before joining the sixers.
I think the Spurs making the playoffs is a bigger question than the Lakers continuing to be mid as fuck. Wemby is fourth on the MVP ladder for crying out loud.
Lakers have a weird roster where they’ll have a lineup that’s really good at defense but sucks at scoring or the opposite with great scoring but terrible defense.
It’s crazy. JJ either puts all offense or all defense. He needs to put DFS in place of Rui and just hope Vanderbilt comes back. Still needs some trades though. Especially a backup center and a guard with defense
Need a video talking about thibs coaching. I feel like the team is limited because he’s too limited as a coach. I don’t believe he has any real offensive game plan/scheme or draws up any plays so you end up getting too many players where say brunson ends up trying to do too much. On top of that the lack of bench minutes and production is a problem, i feel like he only ever coaches and works with the starters and the bench and younger players gotta basically develop themselves but i imagine thats hard to do when bench players will get pulled off the floor if they make a single mistake. Seen too many games where randle played like shit but thibs kept him in but if a bench player does well they’ll still get pulled if they have a single turnover. That kinda favoritism can’t bode well among the bench unit
Agreed. A lot of coaches, and media, treat every game like it's the playoffs and they don't give young players any rope which obviously takes away reps and harms their development which harms your team in the long run. Kawai couldn't shoot but they let him shoot anyway and worked with him and eventually he got good and helped the Spurs win a championship. Same with Wemby. He was shooting 30% from 3 or worse but they are letting him take those shots and his percentages are going up. Your older players are going to naturally stagnate or get worse with age so your only opportunity to improve without trades is to hand out minutes and develop your young guns.
@@fallenshallrisetrue, we’re also seeing it with the warriors where kerr refuses to, or is unable to, develop his younger players and plays favorites with the starters because of past success even though klay and draymond are clearly on the decline and it creates that bad culture where younger players don’t wanna be there if they’re not gonna be taken seriously. But with thibs its the same story every year where the starters are too injured or tired by the postseason and don’t have enough in the tank to then average 42 mpg in the postseason while the bench unit might as well be watching the games from the arena seats
Heat would be dumb not to trade butler, dude is getting old and declining but his value is still where they can get a decent return on him. I dunno why pat riley is being so stubborn about it

Middleton doesn't need to play great since they have Dame, but yeah if he can pull it that's still a huge boost
"George paul is averaging more podcast episodes than games played"
Shout-out to Henny God
Embiid, Maxey and PG all playing together doesn’t even result in a second round appearance
They are cooked, most injury prone duo ever.
The only one I have faith the most among them is Maxey.
'Doesn't' suggests they've been together long enough to see a play-off series
Probably fix your verbiage - 'they probably wont' would be just fine
