I feel like most of their choreos aren’t too difficult to learn if you’re dedicated enough (I’m a self-taught dancer and I managed to learn FIRE and IDOL within a week). That having been said, these guys aren’t just dancing - they’re performing. Their facial expressions, power, stage presence, synchronization, and attention to detail is insane. I tried to sing along to FIRE and I felt like dying half-way through (and I probably sounded like a wheezing mess) so it’s insane how they can carry a tune throughout an entire performance with several songs in a row. Yes, the dances are learnable, but their way of performing is another thing entirely.
Holi shet i would never say the choreos aren´t difficult, maybe not all but there are some so exahusting or with moves that damn and so sync, you have talent that isn't easy, and if you say not difficul for pro dancers well they are training for that, for years. And ofc is not the same imitate the moves than doing an excellent powerful dance like them. pd: I thought Move from Taemin, even I can do part of that BUT moving as well as him, god i wish
As a dancer myself. It’s not hard to learn. Maybe for a none dancer it would be difficult. When I first got into BTS I was watching their boy with love dance practice. I liked the song so I played it again by the 4th or 5th repeat. I memorized the dance routine. What helps is a lot of the steps are repeated. I can usually pick up choreography pretty quickly anyways. But yeah. I like dancing along to song. Especially when people wouldn’t expect me know it. The shock on their faces is hilarious to me.

Learning a choreo and performing a stage can hardly be compared as idols have to sing/rap, dance (whilst having to keep track of their positions), be aware of their surroundings (stage presence and member awareness in case something goes wrong), and not let their fatigue show too much despite being exhausted after performing multiple songs in a row as to not worry their fans - all at the same time. BTS (and other groups) also have a very special aura to them that most people cannot replicate despite knowing the correct movements, this not only includes their individual parts, but also how they come together and compliment each other (their understanding of the moves is also unparalleled since they’re usually the only ones who knows the true purpose and intention behind each move) - it just doesn’t give off the same feel. That’s why I respect idols as much as I do, because they’re truly on another level (not to say that they got there solely because of talent, it took them years of hard work to get there, but still).

I prefer watching the dance practices vs live shows simply because of the stationary camera. On any live show the camera wings all over the place & you don’t get a good viewing of the actual dance routine by all 7 members. I do like the fan cams on the live shows tho because. The camera focuses on just one member & you get to see their actual part of the routines. If interested just look up “fan cam” & any BTS members name (bias J-Hope!)......
These guys really want you to feel them, and represent that through dance, lyrics, and beats. My fav dance practice is the mic drop one, but blood, sweat and tears is up there. Honestly, I love them all, if they put out footage of them dancing, it’s worth watching. 💜 Fire, all around is they hype song. I love it!

Heyyyyy, I'd like to recommend you ITZY's dance practices since you mentioned bp. Their choreos are fire! I do not stan girl groups but ITZY's choreography are to die for. Anyways, thank you for reacting to BTS! They have a lot of amazing choreographies as well. I recommend you to react to their comeback shows and their award show performances. (Do not watch their performance in the US. The camera works are bad and you will not see how great performers they are. Just stick to their performances in Korea)
