I mainly chose this for this month because I wanted to shake up my recent recommendations, which have been predominantly bombastic, epic, dramatic, etc. This one is more of a *thinker*. My interpretation of the lyrics is...pretty dark, but it's represented with such a powerful atmosphere that it's always stood out to me. I'm not one to get secondhand feelings from music super often, so it works fine to me, but I'd understand if others felt the song was too emotionally heavy to really get into. I know just about nothing about the band outside of this one track, it's a rare song that I didn't come across myself but it was played by a friend during a music listening session over Discord, and it immediately was bumped into my spotify, which occasionally reminds me of it, and it did so right around the time of picking May request, so here we are 😅
Yea dude this song was very interesting and flowed really well.
I really liked this. Has a bit of that 90s grunge/altrock vibe and the singer sounded very soulful.
I really enjoyed this one. Musically, it's beautiful. I love the darkness you can feel in it and the lyrics... wow.
u will love "epitath" and "hanging on by a thread" at this point too
I liked this, they reminded me of somebody but I could not put my finger on who. Vocals were good, and I liked the industrial like sound on this track.
That definitely we left me wanting more.. It's the perfect type of chill atmospheric and dark sound that I like. That slighty bendy guitar part in the middle gave me chills. like a cry from the guitar.. I Like every part of this. ❤and✌️
melodic and athmospheric,
how about eivor and ginman after dark, gloomy sunday?
Omg, I loved this so much. My only complaint is that it was too short.
I don’t know, I heard a lot of Nine Inch Nails/ Trent Reznor in this. Maybe it’s just me, but it gave me similar vibes. Thanks for showing this to me. I got to dive into this deeper
I had a feeling you would like this!
Thanks. Found a new band I need to check out. :-)
You should!
That's going to take some thinking about, for sure. Loved the moodiness of the music and the singer's voice fit it perfectly. Not quite sure about the lyrics and that's the part I'm going to have to think about, which is fine. I do love a song that makes me sit and think and follows me through the day.
That's exactly what I was going for with this request - wanted something that was more of a thinker as a switch-up, glad you appreciated that aspect :D
