Thank you for proving that Bose is grotesquely overpriced. I have to confess though that I do like the aesthetics of the Bose, more so than the Anker. But not enough to pay $130 more. I already have an Anker speaker, the Soundcore Motion+, and I’m extremely happy with it. I may cop the Flare 2 because it omnidirectional. I’m also diggin the lights and of course the price. Btw, I’m surprised you didn’t mention that the F2 comes with an app which has a customizable EQ. Once you play around with the EQ you won’t be going back to bass up, at least I didn’t with my Motion+.
Didn’t download the app for the flare 2 because honestly I don’t need it. On the iPhone, you can adjust eq in the music app in settings. But yes you are right, there is an app. Thank you for mentioning it as I did not mention it. Thank you for watching and for the comment!

How are we supposed to hear the difference on our devices. It's completely useless to the viewer to 'listen' to a .speaker comparison unless we have it on the same speaker

If you watch the video about bose being disassembled, you will know that you pay a high price for only one little driver speaker 😅
Bose sound fuller but perhaps using the EQ in the Anker app could help to level the differences...

The flare 2 is distinctively cleaner sounding. I’m picking it up for around roughly $60. Well worth the money.
I tried both for couple of week. While Bose do satisfy my ear, Flare sound is flatter, lighter.
You can change the bass or the treble from the equalizer, maybe that can help

I have soundcore flare. It's good indoor but not so much outdoor. TBH the wonder boom 3 is a lot better even if it smaller
