I love to see the hard working people presenting their work in such a easy way for me to understand. You guys will pave the way along with JWST for the future of our horizons.
We are entering a Golden age of discovery and the art of the possible with these new telescopes and techniques. You can only imagine what the next 20 years will bring. Congratulations to the Euclid teams.
If we could only use a percent of the money we spend for wars and weapons to build ground and space telescope and non-military technology instead, we would live in considerably better world.
4:23 is that lady responsible for the visual representation of NISP image data? The colors just match way too well ;D And will the image processing change colors according to her hair in the future?
Its such a shame that Main steam media give justice to this team. But our culture wont even care about this breakthrough. I can't image how excited the team was when they got this first image. Design, to physical telescope, successful launch and now floating in space snapping pictures!
A cultural comment in regards to "Star Trek" or other spaced-based science fiction: Realize that will have thousands of cubic light years mapped in detail in the next 25 years. We have a Big Picture of millions of cubic light years; probably a good portion of our spiral arm. When we have the means to explore interstellar space more closely we will going to look at something we already know exists. We won't get "lost in space" because we know distance features of the stars. While we will hardly know "everything" we will surely know where we want to go and why in a distance of 100's of light years. That's both encouraging and humbling in the fact that many astronomers have dedicated their lives to know.... An accomplishment, a task to credit human ingenuity, curiosity and perseverance.
The general euclidian equation is volume : x1^2 + x2^2 = 90xd ...(1) 90xd is god where d is general ...(2) The eq (2) suvstitute to (1) is euclidian volume

On a skill level with the folks who designed and built great cathedrals and sailing ships of hundreds of years ago.
What a wonderful time to be alive !

Well done the Euclid team, and well done ESA. World leading space exploration being carried out by Europe.
magnifiques images ! Merci à tous vous êtes formidable .
Великолепное качество 👍 !
Респект разработчикам 👏 !
Love this sooo much! Well done team 👏
Incredible. Thank you.

Welcome Euclid! Hope you'll amaze us all and teach us loads of cool stuff (~1K) about the universe.
👍. Great, God speed to everyone on these projects. GREETINGS and God bless.

Very, very, very well done. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Thanks

Amazing job 👍
I am really interested in one result and single number. What ω parameter (equation of state of dark energy) value will be?
42
As Humphrey Bogart said in Casablanca, "Here's looking at Euclid."
...not forgetting: "Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine!"
Realy I like this video its interestyng
Will raw images (FITS) be available somewhere?
For this early images release, there won’t be any fits file.
What if red shift is not the result of distance?

why they launch another telescope after jwst?
completely different tool, mission/objective and technology...
I heard that this telescope could see what hubble does in its entire existence in jist one year by this telescope
Hi guys...how's my telescope doing?
Here you can follow the latest updates about Euclid www.esa.int/Science_Exploration/Space_Science/Euclid/Follow_Euclid_s_first_months_in_space

This sol system has too many comets/asteroids...any way to get rid of them?
