This story is the worst type of treachery of the cheating husband & greedy mistress. Their greed destroyed happy family, has brought death to a generous man who gave food to a a hungry & abandoned girl, had sent her to school, yet did evil to the family. The punishment of the cheating husband to be put to jail & for the mistress to stop her drinking so as to wait for the release of a cheating husband were not enough ti compensate the wasted time, love & energy of the Ye family esp of Ying ji. Well, the writer of the story was just just to determined to show that evil deeds will surely not bring good results.
