Lol, Charlie is grabbing his snacks.
How can you fail when Yoda is your business partner.
Definitely a buy when Warren sows fear and at the same time he´s been buying for the last 4 quarters ``The best thing that happens to us is when a great company gets into temporary trouble... We want to buy them when they're on the operating table.``
I’m not sure their fundamentals are great though
@@lewis809 that's what people said about OXY
Q: Is the thesis that its an acquisition target or based on fundamentals?
A: I'm not giving that answer out for free and everyone will copy me but what I will say is that the fundamentals of the business are not great.
...therefore by elimination it's an acquisition target.
Charlie was 40 when jfk was assasinated.
Its a buy. Buffett has reasons for being in it he wont give it away. I bought.
she smiled before asking the question because she knew a non/opposite answer was coming. again he says why not to own but does not say why they own it.
@@thisbarb I actually feel he has given out a lot of them, but has never given out specific advice on specific companies (or at least is careful not to). Perhaps he has some additional secret sauce he keeps close to the vest.

Comparing Paramount with resources 👍♥️
RIP my paramount calls
So he hates the company...yet he bought a bunch of it, LOL. He either knows something or he's too old and has gone crazy. I'll put my money on him 'knowing something'.
Paramount has a huge content library that will always be valuable...simple
@@MarcusAurelius7777
But how does that translate to business investment?
@@Art-is-craft The content is the "business investment" lol... won't lose value
He is buying Paramount. This is gonna be taken over soon
I have a feeling he's going to do that too.
Slowly...
I do not get that sense. It has no clear business model and is being run by an industry that has run it self into the ground.
@@Art-is-craft the business model will change to less competitors and less choices for the consumer. That’s the way the entertainment business has to work. The entertainment business had run away too far with offering content on the cheap when they should be restricting to a few players like the old days. Eventually consolidation has to happen because they realize the model won’t work any other way.

Buffet could turn Paramount around by installing a management team but I just do not see him doing it.
Today an offer is made for paramount global for 14 billion so it is a acquisition .
Superbowl viewing?
Paramount is a 44 billion in asset company going for 15 billion should be enough said
This comment didn’t age well. They laid off 1000 employees today
@@RashadCoesBMFR what are you even saying it's still has 44 billion in assets. Laying people off is cost cutting especially since streaming loses so much money for them.
@@RashadCoesBMFR
They could lay of another 1000 and it changes nothing.
@@devontektsellersNo it doesn't, dummy.
I don't think he fully understands what streaming is.
Does anybody actually understand it as an actual business.
ATAI is going to be the biggest psychedelic pharmaceutical company in the world
Why?
Turn up the sound of the chewing
they f up . like baba lol
Baba was Munger
And he made 100 other good decisions over the last 60 years or so. PARA is very different than BABA. BABA has no debt, impressive revenue growth YoY. Without the political factors, BABA has strong fundamentals.
Its obvious buffet knows nothing about the new technology. He should stick to what he knows
What is so special about the new technology?
Lmao you think the fundamentals of business changes because of sectors? 40% of his portfolio is Apple so he clearly knows what he is talking about.
