I got so many questions about the tower after the last video, so hope this answers some of the questions people have about this unique tower.
I bought the rally tower a few months ago after realizing I really needed better wind protection, better lighting and a way to attach my 8" tablet for navigation purposes.
Like I said, this is not a full review, just some initial thoughts after some months of usage.

Do you know if the headlights on this tower are street legal in EU?

We don’t have a yearly mandatory checkup like in other EU countries so there is no need for everything to be road legal. In Germany for example you have much stricter rules. If I were you I would ask the builder of the tower if they are just to be sure
That's interesting. I thought a frame mount would result in better handling in the wind because the windshield would be connected to the frame instead of the handlebars. Overall this seems like exactly what I need. Glad I saw this before I made a decision!
It’s connected to the forks, not the handlebars. But yeah I personally like this construction better and so far it has proven to be a good choice.

I know because I ordered it from Portugal :D I use a Samsung Active Tab 3.

Awesome information! Looking at getting this tower for my CRF300L as well. I'm exactly the same height and I am especially grateful for the comment regarding wind deflection. Definitely a selling point for me.
The only information that I can't seem to find, is whether the lights are EU street legal ie do they have the E-marking.. But then again, considering how easy it is to mount it, there's always option of refitting the original headlight for mot :D

Just ordered one direct from one adventure. I was a bit worried about doing a money transfer to an overseas bank account, but having spoken to Rui and having lots of email correspondence from him, I decided to go ahead with purchase. They want to concentrate on selling this product rather than putting time and effort into setting up their website. 😊👍

If you have instagram I would ask the guys from one ADV. Link is in the description. In Holland we don’t have an MOT control for motorcycles so no checks on aftermarket parts.
Is this tower compatible with honda xr150l 2023 u.s. model? The stock headlight look identical i want to purchase but cant confirm fitment

For the electrical connections, is it plug&Play? Does it have a Honda type connector?
It's mostly pre-assembled so just a few things you hgave to do yourself. Comes standard with the Honda connectors. I paid extra for the USB charger, but that then also comes with Honda connectors.

Thankyou for the informative and excellent video. I really like the look of that rally tower, and the lights. I have sold my CT660Z now, and are planning to by a 300L or Rally. But when i see this tower i think i will go for 300L. Just would like a bigger tank, (and better damping probably) 🎅🏽🫶👍😊
I really prefer the L version because it has less plastic body parts. The rally tower gives you the windprotection and Navi mounting options you then need.

I only have one thing to say. Buy an adventure men cave tower instead.

@@motocamel Because it's 90% aluminum, better built overall, separate windshield that comes right off and isn't 100% 3d printed...
@markjacobs3956 I think in some ways the adv men cave is better, but it’s more expensive, looks ugly and so far the 3D printed materials have hold up very well. And when they brake I have a box full of spare parts.
@@motocamel Keep telling yourself that when plastic parts are on the trail... you get what you pay for. Uglier? Like big chunky plastic fantastic isn't ugly. Lmfao.

Its 3d printed? That's not good
I don't have much knowledge about 3D printing, but looking at how many people use this tower, I haven't heard any complaints about the build quality or endurance.
