      2.23.24. Christ said a new covenant I will make with Israel! Now, here in the Church Age, what are we getting? We are getting those crumbs falling off the table as the Canaanite woman begged for. We are getting the spillover. The New Covenant isn't to us. It is to Israel. But, because of what God did for Israel, we are cashing in on the overflow. Yes, we as believers in this Age of Grace are to rejoice and rest in the finished work of the Cross and thank God for the sacrifice he made for the whole human race. But Israel is God's Covenant people, and even though they are guilty of iniquity, yet God has promised, " my mercy shall never depart from them."Jeremiah 31:31. Romans chapter 11 reminds us not to boast against Israel because one day Israel will be the head and not the tail as they are today. God will fulfill all of the Covenant promises he made to the Nation of Israel. May we continue to listen and learn and share God's Word with others. 🙏

      Yes! Those Scriptures are referring to/written to predominantly to the Nation of ISRAEL/The Jews, who were UNDER THE LAW. This is KINGDOM GOSPEL ground, still under the Dispensation of LAW. Please see: MATT. **9:*35; **10:*5,*6,*7; **15:*24; ACTS **1:*2-4,*6,*7; ROM. **15:*4,*8. Jesus and the 12 were preaching to predominantly JEWS, UNDER THE LAW. The Jews were to believe in Jesus as their Messiah and King so that God’s promises to Abraham and David could be fulfilled (Genesis 12:13, 17:1-4; ll Samuel 7:16). He performed miracles as proof of who He was (John 12:37-38). Jesus’ message was for Jew only (Romans 15:8; Matthew 10:5-6).

      NO, the Gospel is not for Jews only!! It's for all whom believe Jesus Christ is their Savior!! (John 3: 3-18) 16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
      (Romans :10 9-13) 9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10)For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11) For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12) For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
      One Gospel for all; meaning the whole world!!!

      2.23.24. The Bible speaks of two Gospels. (1) The Gospel of the Kingdom that John the Baptist preached as well as the 12 disciples and Jesus the Christ during his earthly ministry as well as the Apostle Paul when he was converted He preached that Jesus was the Christ in the synagogues. What was the Good News? The coming of the Messiah, the Christ and the establishment of His Kingdom. Matthew 4:23, 10:5-7, 24:14, John 1:31, Romans 15:8 ( Christ was a minister of the circumcision, the Jews). Luke 1:32-33, Acts 1:6 (the book of Acts is a transitional book moving from Law to Grace), Acts 13:22-23. The King and the Kingdom are no longer being announced. Why? (2) Because The Gospel of the Grace of God is NOW being proclaimed concerning Jesus Christ-His death, His burial, and His resurrection.This is the gospel of God's free grace to everyone who believes the gospel of the curcifed, risen, and glorified Lord. The Apostle Paul was not saved on the road to Damascus with this Gospel. The Gospel of Grace was not revealed to him until after his conversion in Acts chapter 9. At some point in time, God revealed to him that he had died for the sins of the whole human race, and through faith in what He had done, salvation was available to anyone who would simply believe it (plus nothing). The Apostle Paul was to now take that message ( that Good News) to both Jew and Gentiles alike. There is no difference. We are one in Christ. Many people today are preverting Paul's Gospel of Grace by mixing Legalism with Grace, and in doing that, they cancel the work of the Cross. Galatians chapter 2, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Romans 1:1-5, 1:16, 4:25, Acts 15:14, Ephesians 2:13, 3:1-6.

    If you read the passage in Acts 8 he is teaching from, it tells you that Philip taught the eunuch, "The good news of Jesus" what was the good news? It was the response to the question, "Who does the prophet say this of? Himself or someone else?" What was the passage in question? Isaiah 53, the prophecy of Jesus's death and the liberty it brings. Does the passage say he preached Christ crucified? No, but the passage Philip used to teach the good news of Jesus was teaching His crucifixion. Absolutely 100% Philip taught Christ and Him crucified to the Eunuch

    • @ShirleyCook-np6zq
      @ShirleyCook-np6zq 4 місяці тому +2

      The Apostle Paul's Gospel ( 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) was not preached to the Jews or the Gentiles until (at some point in time) after Paul's conversion in chapter 9. Paul was saved by the Gospel of the Kingdom. First, he went to the synagogues preaching that Jesus was the Christ, and when they refused his message, he then went to the Gentiles. He said they ( Gentiles) would hear it. They heard it and believed it.Christians were first called Christians in Antioch and not until according to the Scriptures. The Apostle Paul introduced Christianity, and he had to constantly defend his Apostleship throughout his whole ministry. The 12 Apostles or the religious leaders of the Jerusalem assembly ( Church) did not know that Christ would be Curcifed,, buried and risen so how could they preach Paul's message of Grace even though the Scriptures were full of references concerning the suffering Messiah and the Grace that would follow? The Scriptures remind us that holy men of God searched diligently and never understood what the prophets had written. Christ, many times during his ministry, spoke of his death, burial, and resurrection, and everyone was later astonished to see him alive and well. Paul's revelations were secrets that had never been (clearly revealed) until the Lord revealed them as never before to his chosen Apostle the Apostle Paul. These were secrets held in the mind of God since the ages ( the world) began ( even before Adam). Nothing comes close to the Amazing Grace that God now offers to the whole human race through faith and faith alone in what He has done. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Deuteronomy 29:29.

Jesus revealed Himself all throughout the Old Testament to two of His desciples on the road (Luke 24) then later at His ascension the desciples then realized all of what Jesus was saying. (John 12:16)
      Did they understand it all when they first heard it? No. But the apostles before Paul came to understand it before Saul was called by God and later became known as Paul

      @andrewjackson8244 6.23.24. Andrew, can you show from the Scriptures where at any time Peter or any of the other eleven disciples or even Christ himself EVER" preached during Christ earthly ministry, after Pentecost or at any place in the Bible where the death burial and resurrection of Christ was presented as a means of Salvation freely (GIFT) offered as Paul preached which is by faith and faith alone? 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If it is in the Word of God ( that they did) Andrew I need you to show it to me.Yes Peter Preached ( or proclaimed) Christ crucifixion quite a few times (as did the Old Testament prophets so did Christ) one example is when he was telling Israel what they needed to do ( in their works religion Exodus19:7-8) in order to get right with their Messiah whom they had just killed but the Bible says that both Jews and Gentiles were responsible, according to the Scriptures. Psalms 2:1-3. The death of Christ was hidden from eternity past. Acts 2:22-24, Deuteronomy 29:29. Paul never tells us we killed Christ. Instead, he preaches that he died for us. Big difference! The Scriptures are clear these secrets had not been fully revealed ( sure, the Old Testament prophets, Christ, and the disciples spoke of their hope in Christ by believing in the NAME ( who Christ was) but not in the manner that the Apostle Paul spoke. These revelations of the mysteries were given only to the Apostle Paul.Romans 16:25, and God can not lie nor can his Word. Peter shortly before he was martyred told the believing Jews to go to the beloved Paul for their Salvation even then he admits that there are some things" hard" to be understood. Peter was a law, keeping Jew and never fully understood the Amazing Grace that God would now offer ( after his passion) Salvation freely to the WHOLE human race ( not just the Jews) 2 Peter 3:15-16.
      The Bible teaches us that no one fully undersood the secrets ( mysteries) that were revealed to the Apostle of Grace that we find between Romans and Philemon and when I read the Scriptures I can not find Paul's doctrines back there any where. My question is, how could they have preached the Gospel of Grace ( as we know it today) when they had no clue that Christ was going to die! Luke 18: 31-34.

Are you saying that Paul had insight the other apostles did not? Paul himself says, "I claimed to know nothing among you accept Jesus Christ and Him crucified." It seems to me that you are putting more onto Paul than Paul ever claimed. It also seems to me that you take the historical narrative of the Gospels and how they show the desciples did not understand Jesus when He said He must suffer these things and then concluded that they never came to underdtand it. That is a major leap that is completely counter to the Bible. Reading John's gospel, his epistles, and Revelation are you really going to say to of John that he didn't realize the Gospel of grace? And do you forget that Peter was the first to proclaim the Gospel to Gentiles? Everything you claim about Peter being a Jew, do you forget that Paul himself claimed that (in our language today) no one Jewed better than Paul. Do you forget this detail? "I am a Jew of tribe of Benjamin, a Pharisee of Pharisees." Paul was very much a Jew. Even in Romans 9 you see he still had a Jewish heart, calling other Jews his kinsman. His heart blead for Jews. Everything you just said in this comment completely divides Paul and makes the other apostles inept. Do you forget that Paul went to the apostles in Jerusalem to compare his gospel to theirs to make sure he wasn't teaching something different from them? Paul did not say, "And I added to them nothing" so as to say he had more than they did but he said, "They added to me nothing" which communicates that he went to them for guidance. It's as if you don't know that they lived with eachother, broke bread together, fellowshiped and ministered together. When Jews came saying Gentiles needed to follow the Law to be saved, Paul did not refute them on his own. He took it to the church in Jerusalem where Peter and James the brother of Jesus were. Paul's Jewishness could see the validity of the Jewish argument that Gentiles needed to be circumcised. And when he showed up in Jerusalem among the other apostles, he did not add his voice in the matter nor was it he who drew out the conclusion. It was James who declared that those who are under the Law should not seek to leave it and those not under the Law should not seek to be constrained by it. Rather each should remain as they are. James was the one who declared freedom for the Gentiles, not Paul. Paul took the message out, which he got from the assembly of the Apostles and believers in Jerusalem.
