- Learn how to make a double macrame plant hanger in this step by step DIY tutorial that's easy enough for beginners!
Since this plant holder pattern holds two plants, I wanted to make it without a wooden ring just to be safe. I'll show you one of my favorite methods to start a plant hanger without a ring!

You are honestly the best teacher at this❤ thank you!😊
I literally made this from ground zero level knowledge on macrame lol. Thanks for being this newbie-friendly
Omg... this is awesome! 👍 😃 I KNEW I would need LOTS of rope but I never imagined I'd need roughly 129 ft +/- for my "Double Decker"!! Thankfully, I have extra rope. 😃 I commented on another of your videos that I wanted to "figure out" how to make a "Double Decker" plant hanger for a potted ivy and a stand-up Ring Camera for deer watching. With this tutorial, you've relieved me of the guesswork. Also, I'd been considering not using a wooden ring but I wasn't sure of the best way to achieve it. Thank you very much for this lovely tutorial! 🙏♥️👍
Thank you. Greetings from Kiev. I relieve stress by doing macrame.
I've never done macrame before and I'm thrilled with the result! thank you for a very straight forward and easy to follow tutorial :)
Hi! Did you make it with the same measurements, than she made it?. What is the finished length of the hanger? Because will be the first time than I make it, and I don't want to the hanger be long. Sorry for my English. 😁
Keep coming back to this tutorial. each time i make a plant hanger like this its getting better, Thank you for this tutorial :)
Where did you find the measurements?
so fun! my first try and immensely easier than the downloaded plans I bought from another site.
Perfectly shown and explained, thank you. I love it!
Fabulous tutorial, I followed it exactly minus adding beads, I'm so happy with the final result! I am also new to macrame, I look forward to buying some patterns and your tutorials ☺️
Justbwhatbi was looking for! Perfect. Thank you
It was great you went through the whole thing
One question... How long does it hang when YOUR plants are in it? I ESPECIALLY want to know how far the top plant hangs down from the top hanging loop because I want to put a camera in the top pot and I also want to know how far the entire hanger hangs with both plants you've put in it. Thank you very much! 🙏♥️👍
What is the finished length of the hanger?
Macrame Angel wings nexttttx🩵♡🥰🔥
Love this!😍
Love this! 🥰💞
What ceiling hangers do you recommend? I'm always terrified they will fall down.
I don’t have any ceiling hangers at the moment, so I can’t be much help with that, sorry! I have wall brackets that I hang my plant hangers on, and I hang them from the curtain rod in front of the windows as well.
can you tell me the total length of this macrame hanger?
I have 4mm cord, will that make a difference in the length I need to cut the strands? (I am just beginning) Also If we were to just make this one for a single plant how long would be cut the strands? Thank you :)
Thanks
could you makes this into a triple plant hanger?
What’s the length of the hanger when finished?
Whats the lenght of the finished hanger?
How long do they need to be ?
total length please?
I don’t understand how do you get 4 sections of 4 cords with 12 strands?
12 divided by 4 =4
my question too. I started this today and now have to undo it because I can't have 4 lots of 4 when I start with 12, bummer. Will have to find a better tutorial.
No it is my mistake! I must have missed two lenghts of cord! Bother, time to start over.
@@melodymanson6595 12 divided by 4=3
I have done very similar with Woodglut designs.
how long do you make your cords to start with. none of your tutorials tell this information
nevermind i see it now.. sry
Great but you don't tell us how long the cordes must be 🤦🏻♀️
It's in the description 🙂
@@MarchingNorth ups, sorry 🤦🏻♀️ thx a lot 😁❤️
If I wanted to make this exact design but for only one plant, what lengths would I use? I tried watching your single plant hanger video but I need to make the macramed handle too and that one uses a wood ring 🥲
