I love the cone on the end of the anvil. I spent the equivalent of 5 years at technical college and I was asking myself how are they going to make the cone when I first saw the finished product at the beginning I was thinking it has to be CNC or something and then I was stunned when craftsman's approach which is a simple hand file and a craftsman's hand can do it if you have the skills and the patience. Los yunques de fundicion estan destinados por lo general a la forja y necesitan una dureza para resistir los golpes de piezas por lo general mas grandes y en un estado candente.Este es otro tipo de yunque destinado a trabajos mucho mas pequeños y precisos .Por lo tanto no hay comparacion posible entre unos y otros.Cumplen la misma funcion pero estan destinados a labores muy diferentes.Gracias y un saludo amigo.

Una pregunta. Qué tipo de geometría tienen los filos de los insertos (o plaquitas) que usa en las fresas y en la herramienta del torno para hacer pasadas de desbaste tan profundas y con tan buena terminación, en un material tan duro como el acero inoxidable?. Y en el caso de usar los mismo que para el acero corriente, en cuanto se ve reducida su durabilidad porcentualmente?
Hola Francisco.En la elaboracion de esta pieza se han utilizado placas para trabajar el acero al carbono.Su rendimiento merma hasta un 50% aproximadamente con acero inoxidable.Con placas de acabado triangulares, con poco radio en las puntas y un perfil con salida para la viruta se consiguen buenos resultados.Con un avance corto y apenas unas decimas de calado en la pasada final nos permite dejar un acabado fino.Saludos.

En un yunque de este tipo no es necesario ningun endurecimiento.El acero inoxidable ya es duro de por si y si tenemos en cuenta que esta destinado a la creacion de pequeños trabajos en el sector de la joyeria que por lo general son metales blandos y maleables con los que se trabaja el templado no tiene sentido.Saludos.

Excelente trabajo. Sólo faltaría darle un tratamiento térmico para endurecer el acero.
Una pregunta. Qué tipo de geometría tienen los filos de los insertos (o plaquitas) que usa en las fresas y en la herramienta del torno para hacer pasadas de desbaste tan profundas y con tan buena terminación, en un material tan duro como el acero inoxidable?. Y en el caso de usar los mismo que para el acero corriente, en cuanto se ve reducida su durabilidad porcentualmente?
Hola Francisco.En la elaboracion de esta pieza se han utilizado placas para trabajar el acero al carbono.Su rendimiento merma hasta un 50% aproximadamente con acero inoxidable.Con placas de acabado triangulares, con poco radio en las puntas y un perfil con salida para la viruta se consiguen buenos resultados.Con un avance corto y apenas unas decimas de calado en la pasada final nos permite dejar un acabado fino.Saludos.

En un yunque de este tipo no es necesario ningun endurecimiento.El acero inoxidable ya es duro de por si y si tenemos en cuenta que esta destinado a la creacion de pequeños trabajos en el sector de la joyeria que por lo general son metales blandos y maleables con los que se trabaja el templado no tiene sentido.Saludos.

El acero inoxidable ya es duro de por si.Ademas este tipo de yunques no necesitan templado.Incluso se utilizan de metales blandos como el bronce.Gracias y un saludo.
