User data script -
#!/bin/bash
yes | sudo apt update
yes | sudo apt install apache2
echo "Server DetailsHostname: $(hostname)IP Address: $(hostname -I | cut -d" " -f1)" > /var/www/html/index.html
sudo systemctl restart apache2
I have never seen the "yes" command before. Good stuff.
The User data script never worked for me. However, the script can be executed successfully after the VM is created. I am not sure why the user data script was not executed when the VM was provisioned. Thanks

Thank you ❣️
Any time!
yes diagram correction needed at 3.28.22 left and right side are vpc subnet vpcs... as they have IGW.. i guess we needed two more private sub-nets in both vpcs in this peering demo
Thanks for your input and point taken. But unfortunately i can not edit the video once it is published on youtube
very happy see this program
Most of the topics I have already covered but I got many requests to club into single program so that it is easy to follow.
@@RahulWagh in part 2 what are the topic we going cover ?
Excellent video ! Thank you sir, kindly bring more specialities & certifications.
You will see more in upcoming weeks.
What certifications are you interested in?
Security speciality
Alright I will add it to my list of todo
Thank you sir
So nice of you
Great ❤
Welcome
Your contents are really helpful. If you can create any real industry implementation type project that would be a great help and Thanks for the videos 🙂
Check the last two chapter in this video you will get at least two projects
I took AWS Advanced Networking and failed it. It is a tough exam because it's mainly multiple answer scenario questions. I understand the topics included in the certification, but you need to really know hybrid networking like a pro. I also recommend a good time management strategy for the exam. I hope to pass on the 2nd try, and this video really helped in my preparation for another try.
Can I ask how much of previous networking experience do you have. Just wondering if I can pass this exam on a first try
@Alexander-ns9yv If you have experience, you might be able to pass on the first attempt. I'm sure many do. I have very limited exp, so this exam was rough for me.
Thank you for the comprehensive and detailed training. It was incredibly informative and useful
When will you be uploading Part 2?
I am trying to make it possible very soon ----work in progress
Hi @RahulWagh Bro. Great Video. I learned about you from my sister, she followed your videos and today she is into Multi-Cloud Architecting. I Like your videos you teaching is simple and crisp. One request if you can show these AWS resources to build using Terraform would be really great. Its my Humble request if you can do that would be really great. As now a days no one is using console to deploy right.
Glad to hear that. It is 100% true we use terraform I have those sessions where I am using terraform to provision the infra for my UA-cam members program and those are not public
Thanks ❤
You're welcome 😊
Thank you so much , we need some projected recommanded please and you are the best
What do you mean by projected recommended?
Dear Rahul,
As usual, excellent video on cloud. A kind request from me: Can you please create a video on data-dog operator on EKS? if possible, some example code? This is not available on UA-cam or any other place.
Noted! I will try my best
Hi Rahul, thank you for the video, could you please make a video which explains what is CIDR, how do we choose a CIDR, how do we divide the CIDR so that we can assign CIDR to subnets. thank you
Here is one short I have prepared for cidr range. I hope it will be helpful for you- What is CIDR (Classless Inter-Domain Routing)? #coding #aws #devops#cidr #programming #technology
ua-cam.com/video/1SdGkr7oJxk/v-deo.html
Please create some videos about cognito, api gateway, sns, sqs, eks, some other popular aws services. I like your vpc and terraform content very much. ❤❤❤
It is on my list you will see soon
@@RahulWagh sounds great 👍
Hi Rahul, First of all thanks for this video. I have one question. For VPC endpoint why we need to configure inbound rule from Anywhere (0.0.0.0) at 5:49:25 as call will be made only from ec2 in private subnet?
This has been a great help, especially since it's just part 1. When can we expect part 2 sir?
It will take a little time for part 2 because part 1 was very long around 8 hours straight.
I am in process of preparing but expect somewhere next month
thank you.brother@@RahulWagh
Very good info! When is Part 2 coming out? Thank you very much!
Working on it!
Very nc explanation... Is there part2 also?
Not yet but soon it will be there
Hello, do you have considered do course about security specialty? Thank so much from Mexico
There will be lots of courses you will see on my channel in coming months so stay tuned for security specialist as well
Please create some videos on aws cognito, api gateway, SQS, SNS, EKS, ECS, fargate,
It will be there soon
Hi @Rahul,
Thanks for this course.
Quick question.
If we have created many resources in AWS account which is Free tier account which has credit/Debit card linked then does it costs us or not if yes then how much and if not then what are the things we should be aware so we don't get into that situation?
There is always one master account for the billing you can have multiple accounts from master accounts.
Resources are generally mentioned when you use them which are free or chargeable there are thousands of resources it is hard to tell which ones are free
@@RahulWagh
Ok, I was specially asking about resources like VPC, Subnets, Internet Gateways, Route tables, Key Pair's etc. as they are kind of supporting options or features which we need to create to deploy the AWS instances and make them available for use.
Most importantly how AWS is going to charge and calculate the bills on those resources as well, as those are supporting kind of services in AWS for main services.
Really amazing session, when will the next part of this series will come?
It will take a little time but there is AWS solution architecture series which you can follow
I would like to thank you for your valuable knowledge you share for free but also I have suggestion for you as well. The Mic your using is not really picking up your voice and sometimes during the video your voice drops so it make it hard to be audible. Cheers
Can you share me the time stamp where you faced the issue with voice so that I can improve it
Thank you for your reply, I have not take the time stamp. I still in middle of watching your amazing course but if anything comes up will take let you know on this comment trail. @@RahulWagh
@@RahulWagh please check the 3:39:00 onwards.
Thanks for the video but didn't understand why we need IGW if we are doing VPC peering connection.
You are right there is no need of IGW here
great stuff - is it a two part series ? or will it go past part 2
I am planning to have part 2 only
@@RahulWagh when can we expect the Second part, eagerly waiting it
Need to tackle direct connect and routing policies and bgp communities more in andc01
I couldn’t understand your comment can you please elaborate?
@@RahulWagh : good presentation , it will be nice if u can make presenting on dx and routing policies , and priority for public and private / transit vif : it was the point that many people ha e trouble ,
Thank u for sharing , good presenting
where can I get the user data you used. Thank you.
I have pinned my comment with the user data script -
But here is the copy of the user data script
#!/bin/bash
yes | sudo apt update
yes | sudo apt install apache2
echo "Server DetailsHostname: $(hostname)IP Address: $(hostname -I | cut -d" " -f1)" > /var/www/html/index.html
sudo systemctl restart apache2
Is it from basics...as i am still confuced abt what is vpc subnets...
Ip address ranges and everything
Yes it is from the basic and it is 7.5 hour long course where first chapter is focused on exactly the topics you mentioned vpc subnets…
@@RahulWagh hi thank you for the reply...great going
Hi Rahul, I have a doubt. In the real world for the production environment, how the keys are saved because if the devops team has 5 people everyone will have access to ssh into vm right. What is the best practices to save private key?
Can we expect similar networking course on gcp or azure?
I am will be preparing the networking course for GCP and Azure soon.
Regarding the ssh keys so in production like environment we store the key in the vault for example hashi corp vault so that ssh key can only be shared to developers who needs it
Thanks Rahul. I have some more doubts
1) After you logged into the public EC2 instance you saved the key in the file. Will it be the same for the production environment or any other approach is there?
2) For both EC2 instances you used the same key. In production there will be more no.of instances in the private subnet right. Will you use the same key for all the instances?@@RahulWagh
Thanks ❤ a lot but there is question is it possible to build a billion users app with aws i mean can aws scale such amount of users
Yes it is absolutely possible to build multi million user app
i am getting 503 error while click on application DNS name aws load balancer
Check the target group health status your health endpoint is not working
Hello Rahul. I cannot find the Part 2 of this video.. Any update on that? Thanks
It is in progress
Is it helpfull for production level projects?
Yes off course otherwise how would you setup route53 and ssl certificates
@@RahulWagh Great,Thanks will watch for sure
It is long session 7 hours plus so be patient
This is awesome! I usually cant focus on tutorials, especially long ones, but for some reason I don't get tired following this one. I think one of the reason is that you dont repeat yourself and give a clear explanation of the aws network services with simple words.
Glad I could help! Feel free drop any suggestions or additional requests if you have because i am planning the content for upcoming months
I found it very useful to show how to fix bad designs with best practices using aws services. For example, the benefits of following secure and efficient methods over risky ones, like choosing managed aws services instead of self hosted services, which can lead to single point of failure and high human costs. Showing these benefits over bad designs can tell why and where these services are used.
Is this part-1 and part-2 enough to become a AWS cloud network engineer sir??
Yes you should be able to crack it
@@RahulWagh Thank you sir
AWS VPN, client endpoint setup chapter please
I will try my best to prepare around
Hello Thanks for your videos. But voice is not clear in this training videos.
Thanks for the feedback! Any timestamp where you wanna point the problem with the voice?
Or is it noisy or lagging?
How can I get part-2 video ?
The part2 is not prepared yet it is in progress
