So pleased for you Joe..your enthusiasm is contagious.
seems like i joined you at a great time , exciting positive vibes .
Woohoo! That's a game changer in your Scottish climate! So happy for you!
Amazing news pal. I wauld say on the raised area. Leaves the grass area for more projects 😊
Great content Joe!
gamechanger for overwintered veg and next year, great news :)
So happy for you Joe.
I wanna see that brisket getting cooked, that will taste amazing, outdoor cooking, couple of beers 🍻 love that bro 👊🏽
@@Cartsp70 haha I have just this second put the beef brisket on the smoker 😁 mind reading powers or what 👍 video to follow
@@diggingfordinner lol that’s dreams mate , love that 🍖 get in 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Great news on the poly tunnel can’t wait to see it going was looking forward to the last one but unfortunately never happened,
Pleased for you Joe
Best of luck erecting poly tunnel, think it’ll be a massive task on your own. Have fun though!!
I have built 4 over the years and will have my girlfriend to help too
Think you should definitely be proud of everything you.ve achieved and it's great to hear you say it.
That's so exciting. How great are first tunnels!!
I know it would be harder work but I'd go with near the outdoor kitchen. I'd be worried putting it higher up because there's so many trees & they don't take much to puncture. Plus, you'd get good, even light in all directions.
Can't wait to see the build
I vote for putting it on the spot where the hen house is
You should be fucking proud mate!! Haters will always hate just ignore the jealous pricks
Soooo happy for you bro 👊🏽 what a legend, see remember a few months back I said there are literally hundreds of companies out there that can throw a few things your way to help with the off grid living, it’s like a drop in the ocean for them but more importantly it’s a huge help to you guys and they get advertising for the product wether it’s a saw a mower a poly tunnel etc etc 🙌🏼you’re Absolutely smashing it bro 👊🏽 we’re proud of you too ! “ man crawls , spirt flies “ and you’re flying mate well done 👏🏽
Get your flowers Joe good on ya. I've watched you walk through the fire shown character m8. Regarding the trolls haha well there like slugs never gonna get rid of em 😂
i,m joining you just because of the first 2 minutes of this vid .
I am so pleased for you. A polytunnel will make it so much easier to grow lots of food up there in Scotland. Kudos to First Tunnels for coming through for you. I am with several others on here in that I think that the best place would be where the chickens were. I also agree that you may want to think about getting a few of those trees down first. Looking forward to seeing your progress.
I’m glad you are feeling proud of yourself. You should be. There was a time when your world was spiralling and you seemed frenzied. Though I don’t know you, I was worried for you. Things could have gone down a dark path but you kept moving forward. That isn’t easy to do when it feels like the world is stacked against you. I’m routing for you. Sympathy for the haters, it is sad that they take pleasure in tearing down those who are trying hard and making great strides. Congratulations on the Polly tunnel! I had a 10X20’ tunnel for a few years. I was able to grow so much in it. Sadly, Hurricane Fiona ripped through PEI and flattened it. I’ve replaced it with a greenhouse. You will have great success with it. All the best to you and Alex, from Canada 🇨🇦
Brilliant news on the poly tunnel 😎😎🌻
Bet your buzzing, I got my tunnel from first tunnels and they are fantastic. Will you be bringing back the grow alongs once it's set up?
Two minds think a like 👍👏
@@jamiesallotmentgarden Absolutely 👍
You should be proud I've just got my first allotment and I'll be watching and learning from you so eney advice would be much appreciated but I do understand your busy to keep up the good work ❤
Think the tunnel needs to go in the sunniest place possible Joe
@@heatherjameson5090 yeah definitely, my dad used to have greenhouses and an orchard in the sunlight 8 hours a day , the tomatoes were incredible, can’t beat that 🙌🏼
I think for ease the tunnel should go where the chickens were but would you have it side on the the woodland or so the back door was towards the woodland wherever you decide good luck with it x
ps I’m a little bit jealous lmao I only have room for a tiny greenhouse
Put the polytunnel on the softer ground as you can plant direct into it.
If you have access to a digger that will make levelling easier for you.
Nice to see you so chipper
Hey bro, you are crafting a life many of us dream of living,
real life living, real-life food, back to nature kudos 👏 2u 😊
Agreed 👍🏾 💯 Joe’s life and more importantly his spirit cannot be dented he’s and his channel is an inspiration 👍🏾
I cant wait to see what you grow, maybe next year once its up, (I know you are not a people person) maybe you grow some veg and enter a local veg show and try win something, your an amazing guy and I am so happy at where you are, and the journey you've taken to get there. I've gone through so much stuff the last couple of years and I'm going to be honest (not to sound as cringe) but you have got me through it with your content and you inspire me so much, carry on smashing it. #fuckthehaters
❤amazing and well done Joe hope you deserve it and your hard work and dedication to your accomplishments
keep doing what ya doing mate fuck them haters
I think the upper terraced area and the sloped area could be an herb garden.
You need to just get up and look at the sunrise and sunset and see where the best places for that well done to my first tunnels has done your right by you
I'd put it up top.
👍
Rubbish company too do business with
LOL they are the best in the UK - What makes you say that 🤔
They have the most amazing customer service. First Tunnels are a very generous company, as Joe is proving.
Amazing tunnels and a great price too.
@@TheFarmyardGarden I couldn’t agree more, the staff at First Tunnels are the friendliest people I’ve ever dealt with and for such a large company that is a blessing. The tunnels are bomb proof, my original one I build 7 years ago is still like the day I put it up and my allotment neighbour has had his First tunnel poly tunnel up for 16 years with the original cover on it. This clown commenting being negative has obviously never had a product from them or would know better.
So pleased you have got another tunnel. Cannot wait to see it put up x
Great news Joe can't beat a polytunnel. I've just built a 18x10 with 63mm gas pipe and scaffolding tubes. Im with you on the ground been soft and easy to work with near chickens. Plus better light. I'd have it away from the trees because they will drop the leaves on tunnel and mould and lichen will take hold. Good luck mate 👍
Just a suggestion can't u take down the bushes at the side of your corrugated shed and put your tunnel their
So great to hear you say that you're proud of yourself. You should be. Im proud of you too. You just keep putting one foot in front of the other no matter what comes flying your way. So excited to see the tunnel!
Get it on the raised area , softer ground and out the way
Yes, I think so too. Better light and less work to get the ground ready. Also can keep the kitchen and fire pit where they are.
Nice choice to have though!
Hooray for the polytunnel Joe! Just what you've needed for your Scottish climate.
My 2 cent thought about the poly tunnel would be to go where the ground is softer and sunnier. You might consider taking down some trees first if you can. They will only keep growing towards the tunnel. You are doing great. Let the Lord guide you.🙏
I’m absolutely buzzing for you .
Think of all them tomatoes joe ! You will it up in no time 😂🤣.
I like the idea of it going we’re the old children run is.
It will still give you plenty of room . Can’t wait to see & watch this .
Well done 👍👍👏😊
Yeah, happy for you. Good luck with the build, I know you’ll do a fab job with it x
I think maybe put the tunnel where the chickens were housed as the ground will be easier to dig through .My dad has grown all his own veggies for as long as i can remember and you cannot beat the taste of veg that has been grown with love and no crappie chemicals like supermarket rubbish with no flavour
think it should go where hen run is .keep plugging away , you cant please all the peeps and there are some you will never win over . just keep doing what your doing as it seems to be working . xx
Bought replacement tunnel plastic from them some years ago when I built a small poly. It was good quality plastic and lasted years till we moved house (left it for the new people). Hope it goes well for you.👍 P.s. put in the raised area just cut back some of the trees.
Can’t wait to see the poly tunnel.
Wow brilliant 🫶🏼 I need a small one, wish I could afford one 🫶🏼 really looking forward to this one xx
