I'm the mom of a 19 year old and I have never understood people who get mad about older kids trick or treating. Shouldn't we be happy they are not out getting in trouble and putting themselves in dangerous situations? Also, the teens often have creative costumes and they are usually friendly and will chat with the little kids and elderly people who answer the door. I leave my lights on really late just hoping the older kids will come to the door. Come on people, welcome them and give them some good candy! 😉

We lived in neighborhoods without enough kids for years, & the ones that were there, went elsewhere to celebrate, but not this year; for the first time in over a decade, I got to drop some candy into a Halloween bag held by a kid, this time, dressed as a Suicide Squad Joker! This totally makes up for the shortcomings I dealt with this Halloween!! :-)) This means so much to me, as I've been too old to Trick-R-Treat myself since '98, but handing it out allows me to participate in another way.
